Scenic lake house with private covered dual-slip and two covered lake-view decks

Enjoy the beautiful sunsets and bountiful wildlife at this lakefront house from the two covered decks. The private covered boat dock features two slips, a water slide and a sunning deck. Living spaces on each level allow for a variety of entertainment option. Upstairs features an open floor plan with a fully furnished kitchen, living room and dining table for 8. For your convenience there are charging stations in the small end tables and the top of the coffee table can be lifted to use as an additional table. Downstairs is a second living area with a refrigerator, air fryer/toaster oven and a Keurig. Enjoy the lake with swimming from the dock (No Diving) or use the kayaks and paddle boards provided for your use. Enjoy a cookout on the gas grill with outdoor dining on the lower patio. The upper level deck has a porch swing and 2 bar height seats with bistro table, excellent for beverages and snacks. In the evening sit around one of the two fire pits, one wood burning and the other propane, and roast marshmallows or just enjoy some beverages while you watch the beautiful sunsets (fire wood not provided) Recent updates include repairs to the dock in December2022 also both boat lifts repaired or replaced December 2023. Stairs from the house to the dock replaced in September 2023. Miscellaneous repairs to the stairs and upper deck, repairs to the area leading to the water slide and the water slide pump Winter & Spring 2024.

A Week of Family Fun!

Our family loved this property, especially the fully furnished dock! We are a fishing family so it was great to launch our kayaks and fish from there and also have a lot of family fun in the lake with the slide, tubes and paddle boards. Another highlight of this property is an amazing coffee bar!

One of the best EVER!!!

We had a fantastic week staying at Watts Bar Lake in this house! The house has just about everything you could ask for. The kitchen is decked out for whatever you might want to cook. They have very nice cookware and accessories. I think of myself as a demanding home chef and I was not disappointed. Do you want an example? They had ghee in the cupboard and said we could use it. The dock for the boat is immaculate, and well maintained, perfect for pontoon boat that we rented for the week we were there. It's covered, and there's a water slide! The view from the place is amazing. I'm pretty sure from their multiple level viewing areas you are looking out at the widest part of the lake. There's a little island that you can kayak to with the kayaks and paddles that are provided. There are also to stand up paddle boards. The grill was a nice Char-Broil brand. I cooked lobster tails, steak, and chicken wings on it. It worked perfectly. I had one question for Becky when we got there, it turned out to be a stupid question, but she called me right away and was nice as can be. We had a saying the rest of the week "Becky has it going on." I can't say enough about the quality hosting that was going on by these owners. It's like nothing I've ever seen in a VRBO rental. I offer our greatest thanks to Becky and her husband!!! (he's the stud who cooks with ghee!). We will be back if they will have us, no doubt about it!!

7 family members enjoyed our time in this house, ages ranging from 12-75. We enjoyed morning coffee looking out at the beautiful view. The house is perfectly situated to enjoy sunsets every evening as well. While we had a few hiccups during our stay, the communication with the host was speedy and the issues fixed in a timely manner. The house has everything you need to enjoy time at the lake. Our kids took full advantage of the slide, kayaks and paddle boards. We rented a boat from a local marina and enjoyed a day on the lake That was neither crowded or dangerous.We did not venture out to the surrounding areas but rather enjoyed our entire stay at this house and on the lake fully grasping” lake life.”

Perfect lakehouse on beautiful WBL

This was our second vacation here and we had an amazing time once again. We've been staying at properties on WBL for a couple weeks every summer the last few years until we are able to relocate to the area, and this one is our favorite. It has an ideal waterfront with a great dock and boat lift. The house itself has everything you might need and Becky is a terrific host who is extremely helpful and responsive. We just booked out third trip here for next summer before hopefully moving to the area for good in '27.

Beautiful

Loved the entire property! We live in Tennessee and usually go to the beach but my husband and child aren’t big beach people so this year they picked where we went. Full honesty I was not looking forward to it BUT it surprised me how much I enjoyed it! We absolutely loved the house and the lake! Everything was there in case you forgot something but a general store close also! The dock is amazing and has everything you need to enjoy the lake. The host is excellent about communicating and understanding what you need to enjoy your stay at the house! The neighborhood dogs came and visited and they are absolutely adorable. I played ball with Beau everyday until they beeped him home! (Hope he isn’t in trouble) we will be back! Already planning a trip with some friends and referred it to several others.

Great holiday weekend

Wonderful property on Watts-Barr lake with a dock. 3rd year in a row coming down for Labor Day with friends. The dock is awesome for swimming with kiddos and keeping the boat. The boat ramp is only 10 minutes away. The water slide from the top level is thrilling for sure! The house was clean and stocked generously with cookware and dishes. Great views of the sunset and wildlife abound. Definitely on our list of places to come back to.

We had a great time!

We brought everything we would need for our trip but the house is stocked with anything you might have forgotten. Our children had a blast! We enjoyed the beautiful dock and slide to the fullest. We brought a boat and enjoyed having it with us the whole time. We fished, had smores in the fire pit, kayaked to the island and enjoyed the beautiful sunsets at night . The view is simply amazing and we felt so blessed during our stay. We had a minor setback when we arrived but the owner was quick to respond and made it right. We cant give it anything less than 10 stars with the amount of fun we all had at this house!

Great vacation Home!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The hosts cleaning agency did not do a very good job of cleaning before we arrived, and the trash company had left a ton of trash outside. I notified the host and she was very apologetic and rectified the issues quickly. Other than that mishap in the beginning, the home is wonderful with fabulous views of the lake. I have never stayed in such a stocked home with everything you need! The dock was our favorite with lots of room and activities like the paddle boards. We had a blast! 😊

Relaxing lake trip

Travelled with my family of 5 and my brother and his wife. We really enjoyed the stay. The views of the lake are beautiful. The covered dock is very convenient and the kids loved the slide. The newly repaired stairs are very nice (and very plentiful, lol). The house is conveniently located in a nice area of the lake and not far at all from a nice general store. The home was well furnished and everything was as described.

Best dock in the neighborhood!!!

We had a blast! Awesome dock with everything you need for a family getaway! Paddleboards, kayaks, paddle boat with a water slide. The view was fantastic. This will be our place to visit every year!

Great lakeside property

This place was great! right on the lake with lots of water toys and room for a boat if you have one. We all had a great time and would go back! The property owner was quick to reply to questions.

Possibly my favorite cabin trip ever.

It was a truly amazing cabin, plenty of dishes (actually maybe too many! But hey, it was still awesome) and great communication. Very good lake access and nice lighting all along the deck and stairs. LOVED IT!

Another fun lake trip

My family enjoyed boating, swimming, and hanging out on the dock. We love taking our dog, as he loves to swim. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. Mornings on the back deck were relaxing.

Great sunsets on Watts Bar Lake

Well-appointed home with a great view of the lake. Kayaks, a 2-story slide, and a covered double dock with a small refrigerator were a hit for my family. My second favorite spot is on the deck with fans. While the best view of the sunsets was from the firepit. The week-long trip started on a sour note, with the cleaner being a no-show and thunderstorms taking out the internet until 8 pm. The owner was very responsive and helpful. A couple of upgrades would make this 5-star. Sticky doors, some more repairs to the steps down to the dock, and change out the shower heads. Just a reminder the drive is steep @ 18% while parking at a 12% side slope would confuse our minivan to show low gas. We found the queen beds were firmer than we are used to. The blue spring marina is just 8 minutes away. The house is easy to find on the lake with its red roofs. There are dollar general stores nearby while Walmarts are half an hour away. Two local friendly dogs visited us. Bently wanted to come into the house. We did enjoy our time. We saw deer every day, bunnies, squirrels, and a salamander, while we heard a bobcat one night. Grey and white herons, vultures, osprey, yellow finches, and many other birds are around the property. A couple of small fish by the dock and large ones would make splashes in the morning. One night was clear and the milky way was observed. The house was very well furnished, and plenty of room for the 5 adults.

Lake House

We had a great time at this lake house. The house was very clean with lots of space for my family of 5. My children spent a lot of time playing on the slide. There was also great fishing from the dock. They caught 9 big catfish in 3 nights. This is a great place to relax and enjoy the lake.

Great house, great location

My family and I enjoyed a wonderful weekend together. We loved the convenience of the kayaks being right beside the dock. We had so much fun with the slide and enjoyed the beauty of the lake. I messaged the owner to ask a question, and she immediately called me. Our family will definitely be back!

We made the best of it.

The house was older but still very nice. You can tell that they are slowly working on it. The dock was a big hit but we only got to utilize it for one evening due to severe storms. The steps were unsettling but looks like they were working on them. My only advice would be more lighting outside for at night going down to the dock, definitely need some flashlights or lanterns for when the power goes out (we had to find candles since the power was out for way to long. Ofcourse the weather & power outage was not the owners fault. They tried to help us find flashlights but no luck besides 1 under a table outside..Owner was very fast to respond when needed & answered all questions. Lake house was actually very well stocked with basic necessities beyond what we expected which was very nice. Great lake house with a lot of potential but can’t rate fairly considering we had it for 3 days and only got to utilize the main part for 1 evening. Definitely ruined the 1 thing our daughter wanted for her 14th birthday. We hope to try again next year.
