Sea Pines - 3 bedroom 2 bath Cottage with Spectacular Lagoon View

Night Heron offers privacy while still being close to all of the amenities that Sea Pines has to offer. The main floor features a fully equipped kitchen, living and dining room, Master Bedroom & Bath plus the Guest Bedroom and 2nd bath also located on the main floor. On the second floor there is a loft which has two twin beds, ideal for kids looking to have there own space. It is accessed by a spiral staircase. The deck features a fantastic view of the lagoon and trees surrounding the cottage.
Take advantage of all that Sea Pines has to offer! the beach is only a 5 minute walk, 3 championship golf courses including Harbour Town Golf Links - site of the PGA's RBC Heritage Golf Classic. In addition there bike trails, shops & restaurants plus the famous Harbour Town Lighthouse. Walk, Bike or Drive through Sea Pines and you can explore some of the best sights on Hilton Head. The activities include, Lawton Horse Stables, Sea Pines Forest Preserve with over 600 acres, South Beach Marina, Harbour Town Marina, and The Sea Pines Beach Club just to name a few. Great getaway rental

First off the property manager was excellent!!!The location is centralized to the action but quiet during down times - Clean property and the surrounding guests were kind and welcoming as well.

Pleasant walk to beach and Sea Pines Nature Reserve; Bright rooms with tasteful decor and comfortable furniture, including the beds; Loved the floor plan with the bedrooms well separated for privacy; Pool directly across the street but view obscured by all the vegetation; Kitchen is extremely well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, etc. for those who want to prepare their own meals.

Everything was nice and convenient. It was clean and a beautiful home. We only washed our bathing towels once. The spin cycle on the washing machine was not good. Had to wring out towels and then dry them. Someone might want to check that. Other than that, it was great but we didn’t come to wash clothes😂

Great Location

It was a great spot to stay in Sea Pines. Close to the pool. Short bike ride to the beach. Lagoon views were fun. Saw alligators and turtles. We enjoyed this vacation so much!

HH Family vacation

What a great way to spend a week. Great location, walkable to the beach, and the lagoon! Cooked many nights, and the kitchen had all the appliances/utensils we needed. Lagoon wildlife was a plus...herons daily, and oh yes we had daily alligator visits while watching from the deck....not anything to be alarmed about, but fun to watch

Beautiful HH stay

Loved the house, Sea Pines is the best area to be. The path to the beach is beautiful and very close. Bikes were provided. We really enjoyed our stay.

No hot water

While Night Heron appeared nice and was clean there was no hot water. The management team was very responsive and were able to find us a different property to stay at quickly as the parts to repair the water heater were unavailable. So while our experience with Night Heron was not good, our experience with the management team was excellent. They found us another place which turned out to be a better fit for us and we were able to enjoy our vacation. The iverall rating is for the management team and their work.

Fall break

Stayed here for four days. Great location. Walkable to beach. easy exit to the rest of Hilton head. Small space, but readily fit the five of us. Would definitely rent again.

Place was a great location in Sea Pines, beautiful view of Laguna from balcony. Saw alligators, turtles, Herons, from balcony too. Place was clean and kitchen was very well stocked with cookware etc. Very comfortable place!

Great Location, Accurate Listing

Photos and description are accurate. Nice & clean, but nothing fancy, which minimizes cost. A smaller free-standing home overlooking lagoon with resident alligators, snapping turtles &, of course, herons (completely safe & fun to observe). On a quiet street just steps from a community pool, but also fairly close to Sea Pines gate (good or bad, depending on personal preferences). House is 4-5 minutes from beach by bicycle, but closer to 8-10 minutes by foot. Seashore Vacations, the property manager, was very helpful. Would rent again.

Vacation rental

Enjoyed the space, kitchen is well stocked for cooking. Only suggestion is to either replace the mattress in master bedroom or add a soft mattress topper. It was so uncomfortable.

Reviewer Comments: Clean, accommodating, well stocked kitchen with everything you could need (missed the crab boil pot they used to have - was missing this year and we didn’t bring ours because there used to be one there). Matress in the master could definitely use a topper as it was a little hard (mattress in other bedroom off kitchen was much better but I wasn’t giving up the master to the kids!). Otherwise perfect- couldn’t ask for more and can’t wait to return.
