At Big Fish Rentals... This oceanfront condo is on the 5th floor! View the ocean from the private balcony, Situated in Avista Resort, North Myrtle Beach, this suite sleeps up to 8 people. It has modern cabinets, full-sized refrigerator and granite countertops, and a washer/dryer in the condo. Close to House of Blues, Alabama Theatre, and Tanger Outlets, there is an onsite restaurant and direct access to the beach from the resort. Come see why we love this suite!

This newly remodeled unit is decked out with all the modern conveniences: Four burner cook-top, a full-sized refrigerator, and modern faucets. Granite Countertops align the kitchen area. Welcome to your home away from home with a large balcony to enjoy the ocean view from. Our one-bedroom oceanfront condo on the 5th floor sleeps up to 6 and has one bedroom (two beds), one private bathroom, and a separate living area (with a murphy bed), which is open to the kitchen. The remodeled kitchen has everything including new cabinets, granite countertops, and a full-sized stove. The kitchen is also stocked with any items you might need for your stay including pots, pans, glasses, utensils, cheese grater, cutting board, can opener, knives, coffee maker, veggie peeler. The kitchen is open to the living area which includes a dining table with 4 chairs.

From the living area, you can walk out to the HUGE balcony and view the ocean and pool area. This is our hot spot for morning tea or coffee while you inhale the salt air in the mornings! The bedroom has two beds and includes bedding and pillows. The bath has a large sink and a large garden tub.

We want your stay to be comfortable and fun, so we provide toilet paper, dish soap, hand soap, trash bags, and dish towels so you can start your vacation right away!

Please treat yourself to everything that our condo and Avista Resort have to offer, you won't regret it!

Note: Included with this condo is 1 vehicle parking pass. There are other locations to park additional vehicles (for a fee or no charge depending on where you park).

DIRTY!!!!!

Couch and chair were full of sand and food crumbs, same with floors and table. 1 of the beds sheets had hair and sand all in the bed. Was advertised with a pull out coach which it didn’t have. Also, there were no sheets for the Murphy bed. Maintenance man brought “clean” sheets at 12:30am but the smelled horrible. Only response from property manager was “ sorry for the inconvenience, we will talk to the cleaners”. Do not rent from Big Fish Properties, check their google reviews and the 50 open complaints with the BBB!!!!!

Weekend Get Away

Have stayed at Avista Resort many times, however it’s the first time through FRBO. Condo was perfect for the two of us, plenty of room. The weather was perfect too! We were able to enjoy all the amenities of Avista without going through the resort directly. My only suggestion would be to leave guests with directions for using the television. With all the streaming options these days plus standard channel selections, it was a little frustrating to find certain channels. This however did not have a negative effect on our stay. We had a great time!!!

Family Vacation

We were very excited to stay beachfront! The view was beautiful from the balcony. It was windy all week making powerful waves but also cool evenings to enjoy the short walk to Main Street’s shops. All staff was very courteous, so we enjoyed the resort’s pools, restaurant and lounge. The unit could use an update as some things did not live up to the photos. However, the price was reasonable so one could expect that the cost per night might increase upon putting in new mattresses and furniture. Additionally, it was not a bad drive to Myrtle Beach on our outing day as there are plenty of places to do family activities- just be prepared to spend some cash!

Decent condo

The condo was decent. It wasn't filthy, however it wasn't as clean as I would have expected. There were dirty pans in the cabinets, the coffee pot wasn't cleaned, and there was food under the table. I know they say you can call and they will have someone come clean it to your standards, but after a 10hr drive with 2 kids...you kinda just want to relax and unpack some. I cleaned it. We found out on the 3rd day that the washer in unit did not work. I ended up looking up a manual for it and figuring out the door locking mechanism was broken. I contacted the manager and she said they couldn't get the part, and wouldn't be able to be fixed. So I had to pay to use guest laundry at the resort. (Which in unit laundry was one of the biggest reasons I booked here). We did enjoy our vacation and the resort is gorgeous...just wish our unit would have been as promised.

I've been vacationing in the Myrtle Beach area since I was a little girl. I grew up in rural North Carolina, visiting Myrtle Beach on our family vacations and loved every second. Currently, my husband and I own a high rise condo in Raleigh, NC. When we started looking for investment properties, we considered Myrtle Beach and found affordable oceanfront properties combined with fun amenities like pools, hot tubs, and perfect views of the Atlantic Ocean. We love Myrtle Beach because the palm trees in the pool area give a tropical feel, without going too far from home. We have one little girl and our condo is our other pride and joy. I am excited to help you have a perfect vacation and hope our condo can accommodate your needs. I want your experience to be perfect and would love constructive feedback to make your vacation even more enjoyable. My husband provides our website and advertising for our family business and I supply all the comforts of home. Our time is spent planning our next real estate purchase, building websites for clients, working out, playing with our daughter, reading, and cooking new recipes. When we get a few days to ourselves, we head down to Myrtle Beach to relax and enjoy.
