This centrally located two bedroom house is perfect for a small family or two couples. With just under 1000 square feet, this cozy home has everything you need, and nothing you don't! You are just a quick walk or ride away from the beach, as well as The Big Store and restaurants.

You'll appreciate the conveniences of home, such as the smart TV and high speed internet, ample seating in the open living/dining/kitchen area, and the furnished deck.
(This house does not have a washer and dryer at this time.) Each bedroom features a queen bed, and there is an additional queen sleeper sofa to accommodate sleeping for 6.

Blue Oyster is the perfect cabin for a simple beach getaway!

No pets are allowed. All Swedes Real Estate vacation rentals are non-smoking properties. Swedes does not rent to guests under 25 years of age.
The homeowner does not provide linens and towels, but, if you choose, they are available upon request from our linen service (additional fee applies).

We had a great stay. Check in was very easy. House was exactly as listed. The houses had everything we needed for our stay. I stayed in the front bedroom bed was very comfortable. The 2nd bedroom was nice. Mattress had a dip in it, still comfortable. Only issue we had was the Wi-Fi we couldn't get connected to it. But it wasn't much of a concern for us,we were there for the beach. We would definitely stay at this house again.

I waited to respond in hopes of hearing directly from the property owner, as our experience with this rental was deeply disappointing and caused significant inconvenience. While the home itself is aesthetically nice, it is entirely reasonable for guests to expect all major appliances to be fully functional. We were without a working refrigerator and freezer for the entirety of our stay, which is unacceptable for any rental, particularly at this price point.Although a small and a medium ice chest were provided, they were not an adequate or appropriate substitute. A substantial amount of our food was ruined because the chests could not accommodate basic items such as frozen pizzas, fries, or other groceries, and we were unable to fit all of our items inside them. This resulted in unnecessary waste, added expense, and a level of disruption that should never occur in a professionally managed rental.Based on our experience, I would not recommend this property to future guests. Furthermore, I reached out to VRBO on several occasions and was told to contact the property owner which we did but outside of that VRBO was of no help.

Labor Day Weekend

Great location!!! The house was good…needs some TLC. The rust has taken its toll on a few things. I didn’t read the amenities closely, which is my fault..but it should say in bold on the description that this is no washer/dryer for guests to use. I’ve rented for about 15 years now all over the peninsula and I’ve never once not had a washer and dryer so I never really thought about it. Overall, the house was a good weekender, beds were good…great location and neighbors were fun and had a live band. We enjoyed making memories with our family!

We lived for the sun and beach in our teens, but nowadays, enjoyed the deck of the cabin with morning coffee and sweet tea in the evenings! Cabin was perfect with two bedrooms! When she had to return to North Texas, my daughter in law and 3 grandchildren came to spend one night and two days! Just perfect! House was spotless, decor was so cute and kitchen had everything I needed! Quiet cul de sac!

Over all a okay place to stay .

Roaches the bench downstairs was broke and it was poorly stocked . No access to Washer or Dryer.

We dined @ Stingarees twice. Down under with live music was incredible. Also, Jose Cantina twice. Great food at both. Crystal Beach golf carts were so friendly, and maps for business’s we may want to shop or eat. Huge help for getting our barrings.. Friendly people in every establishment we visited, and shopped... We will be back several times a year...Just wonderful, & relaxing... Thank you..
