LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!!! Perfect DOWNTOWN getaway! Perfect for a Business trip (convention center w/in walking distance), traveling nurses, Family Vacay, romantic getaway, or a Couples (x 3) weekend. This Westside North Bungalow is totally restored and updated! Two of the bedrooms and bathrooms are on the main floor. Master suite (main level) has a 60" walk-in shower en-suite. Second bedroom (main level), has a tub/shower en-suite. Third/4th bedrooms, bathroom, are on the second floor and has a free-standing soaking tub en-suite. The Loft bedrooms are open to each other. This 4BR/3BA is close enough to walk to: see pics for time and distance to... the KC Convention Center, Crown Center, the Kauffman performing arts center, Union Station, the Liberty Memorial, and even the KC streetcar. You can even ride the KC Streetcar for free to the River Market. More importantly, you can walk to dozens of great restaurants on the Westside like the Westsider Local, Chez Elle Creperie and Coffeehouse, and the Blue Bird Bistro (4 blocks away), the Crossroads Art District (and host to First Fridays Arts festivals) is home to some of KC's best restaurants such as Jack Stack BBQ, Lidia's Italian Bistro, Manny's Mexican, and Grunauer (German). SW Boulevard (2 blocks away) is also home to many authentic Mexican restaurants, all within walking distance. The Power and Light District, full of restaurants, sports bars, grocery store, and nightclubs are a short Uber/Lyft ride away <1 mi. You are also about one 3/4 of a mile to the Hy-Vee Arena and the antique district in the West Bottoms. A fun way to spend a saturday afternoon.

We agree, the Westside Vacay is a "GREAT LOCATION!" If you want to be in the middle of the action, then this place is for you. Located in the Westside North neighborhood which is a great mix of historic homes, bungalows, and modern masterpieces. New homes in this neighborhood are now north of $1m. Safe and walkable.

The house was overall good, main thing we had issues with was there was dog hair on the floor and on the stairwell. When we picked up our clothes off the floor after changing, there was dog hair on those clothes. It’s a nice place, not a lot of parking space, but I feel there could be some improvements in the cleaning! Overall our stay was comfortable. With a few cleaning touch ups,, I do recommend this place!

This was a great place that hosted our family wonderfully! This property has 2 master bedroom suites with full bathrooms which was great! There is a large living space that flows to the kitchen where everyone can gather, with additional beds and bath upstairs. This property is clean and newly remodeled. The location can't be beat if you need to be close to downtown or the Convention Center!

If you want to stay on the edge of Downtown, then this cute little bungalow is a "great place!" Two of the bedrooms and full bathrooms are on the main level with a loft bedroom and a 3rd full bathroom upstairs. Plus, there is a 4th bonus bed upstairs too. This totally renovated home "can't be beat!" Thanks for the great review!

We loved the space, I’m just not sure we realized the whole upstairs with 2 beds and a bath had no doors. (Half walls, etc. so it was semi-private.) We made it work with women upstairs and men downstairs; just something to be aware of if you are renting with work colleagues. Compliments to the host on thoughtful stocking of things you need while traveling—including coffee.

So glad you "loved the space!" We took an old 2/1 and converted it to a 3/3 by converting an attic to a suite. The house has One King bed, two Queen beds, and one Full size bed. All 3 bedrooms have full bathrooms en-suite. Making the Westside Vacay a great alternative to a couple of hotel rooms. Thanks for choosing the Westside Vacay!

We agree, the Westside Vacay is a "lovely place w/a Great location!" The walkability score for this location is 90 pts. So many wonderful restaurants, crepe houses, pubs and distilleries, and the KC Convention center are all w/in walking distance. Plus, we recently added the 4th bed in the Loft. So now its one King, two Queens and one Full size bed. This allows us to sleep up to 8 guests now. This property offers great value for you on the Westside. It's located in a walkable & safe Downtown neighborhood. We hope you choose the Westside Vacay for your next KC adventure!

Great home in perfect location

Fly up for the AFC championship game and had a great stay at this home. Very comfy beds and loved the huge tv in living room. Will def stay here again!!

Thanks for letting future guests know what to expect! This home was lovingly re-constructed, specifically to be a short-term rental. This is why every BR has a full bathroom en-suite. It's also in a "great location" if you want to have quick access to all the KC Downtown has to offer. Our cleaners do an excellent job and it shows. Thanks for the 5 STAR review!

Our cleaners do a great job getting the home ready for our guests. We do encourage guests to reach out to us if there are any issues during their stay. Whether it be related to home access, stock supplies, or maintenance related . One of the worst thing for a host, is that a guest had an issue during their stay, and the first time we hear about it is after they have posted a less than 5 STAR review. We believe the uniqueness, cleanliness, location and guest reviews, make this a 5 star property. We want to make sure ALL of our guests have a 5 star stay.

Great Place

The rental was perfect for our company to stay and attend a tradeshow. It was comfortable and spacious. The owner was quick to communicate and provided a great dinner recommendation.

Every visitor to KC must walk to Jack Stack BBQ from the Westside Vacay! It’s the BEST! Some of our guests choose to walk to the KC Convention center too. The best thing about the Westside Vacay’s location is how walkable the neighborhood is. There is great food, coffee and drink all within a 5 min walk. Plus, the house is pretty cool too!

The house was updated and very clean. The host was very responsive when we contacted him and we really appreciated that. Parking was easy and accessible. We really enjoyed our stay!

Dodgers and fun

Came for the Dodgers/Royals game. Was searching a few hotels, but that would have broke the budget for a few in our party. This place was awesome and affordable. Very clean, great amenities, and close to a lot of great bars/restaurants. The best part is the people in Missouri were amazing!!

Designed as a BNB, each guest or couple has their own, full-bathrooms, en-suite. Plus the common spaces, inside and outside are cool an unique! Save money on the hotel room(s), plus have a fully stocked kitchen to cook in and save even more money on the restaurants. If you prefer to dine-out together, there are several great local restaurants w/in walking distance like: Los Tules, Jack Stack BBQ, Grunauer, and Lidia's.

Clean and comfortable

We really enjoyed our stay. We had no problems but Mike was always in touch. The home was clean, comfortable, quiet and a great location for walking to the Crossroads district and the rest of KC. Would definitely stay again.

The location is unbeatable for walking to First Fridays, the Crossroads arts festival, that happens the first friday of every month. Tons of good food, drinks, music, and art! Close to Streetcar

House is cozy and clean. A great place to stay close to downtown well within walking distance to the streetcar and Union Station. Close to freeway, but still quiet. Overall, a wonderful stay!

So glad you had a "wonderful stay!" We love this location and the walkability score of the neighborhood. If you are staying downtown, you don't even need a car. Everything that's not in walking distance is a very short uber ride from the home. Thangs for being 5-star guests!

Great location!

Great location, wonderful and unique house! We brought the kids and grandparents for a weekend getaway. Location was perfect for exploring, especially on bikes! House was unique and the spiral staircase was a big hit with the kids! We will be back!

We built this house as a vacation rental. Formerly a 2/1, today is a 3/3. It was quite the undertaking, but well worth it! Every square foot is thoughtfully laid out. It's always nice when you can revive a little house on the prairie from the 1890's. My wife really did a great job w/the Deco! She is now a super "cute house." The location is the BEST!

Teachers on Spring Break

It is a cute little place. Each bedroom has a toilet and bath or shower. Convenient location for easy access to major highway.

This Downtown home was thoughtfully designed to be a vacation rental. This is why each bedroom has a full bathroom en-suite. After staying in a vrbo in midtown denver w/so much to do w/in walking distance, we found this home, and thought WOW, what a perfect location! So much to do w/in walking distance. Not only can you walk, we are right on I-35, so jump on the Interstate and off you go....

Chiefs game

Great place to stay for Chiefs games. Walking distance to bars and restaurants. Short ride to Arrowhead.

We usually book up for all the Chiefs games. So the sooner one books, the better! The Westside Vacay is located in the Westside North. This makes us close to the Crossroads, Downtown, Westside, West Bottoms, River Market, and Midtown. There are tons of great places to walk or Uber to. Some notable places are Union Station, the Kauffman Performing Arts Center, KC Convention Center, the Aquarium, Crown Center, Power & Light District and the T-mobile Center (for concerts). For pro sports: Arrowhead (GEHA) and Kauffman, the Chiefs / Royals stadiums, are just 15 min east of Downtown KC. We are also only 25 min to the MCI Airport. If your flight arrives early to KC, we may be able to accommodate an early check-in. It just depends on the calendar. GO CHIEFS!!!

LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION!!! This Westside North Bungalow is totally restored and updated! Two of the bedrooms and bathrooms are on the first floor. Third bedroom, bathroom, and reading nook are on the second floor. Perfect for a Family Vacay, romantic getaway, or a Couples (3) weekend. This 3BR/3BA is close enough to walk to the KC Convention Center, Crown Center, the Kauffman performing arts center, Union Station and the Liberty Memorial, and even the KC Street car. You can ride the KC Street car for free to the River Market. More importantly, you can walk to dozens of great restaurants on the Westside like the Westsider Local, Chez Elle Creperie and Coffeehouse or the Blue Bird Bistro (4 blocks away), the Crossroads Art District (and host to First Fridays Arts festivals) is home to some of KC's best restaurants such as Jack Stack BBQ, Lidia's Italian Bistro, Los Tules (Mexican) or Grunauer (German). SW Boulevard is also home to many authentic Mexican restaurants, all within walking distance. Downtown restaurants, and bars in the Power and Light District are a short Uber/Lyft ride away. You are also less than one mile from the West Bottoms w/ the Hy-Vee Arena and the antique district.

This property has undergone a total restoration, converting this 1890's 2 bedroom, one bath home into a 21st century 3 bedroom, 3 bath home (all EN-SUITE), This home is located in a re-gentrified neighborhood with homes that are selling for $1m+. There are many short-term rentals in the Westside North, as this is a very popular place to be!
