The enchanting sight and soothing sound of the river are the star features of this home. Nestled in a serene, private setting surrounded by towering pines, the tranquility here is truly remarkable. Just steps from the back deck, guests can cast a line and catch trout right from the riverbank—many even brag about landing a fish within minutes. This waterway is known for excellent trout fishing, literally out your back door and only two blocks from Lake Almanor. The riverside trail leading to the water is exclusive to our guests only.
Out on the spacious deck, a fire-pit table sets the perfect mood for morning coffee, evening s’mores, or a glass of wine under the stars. Inside, the newly renovated kitchen features stainless steel appliances, a convection oven, dishwasher, garbage disposal, and modern mood lighting perfect for cooking and entertaining. It comes fully stocked with cookware, baking essentials, wine glasses, and small appliances including a drip coffee maker, toaster, blender, and electric tea kettle.
After a day outdoors, guests can unwind in comfort. The home offers plush, comfortable beds with blackout curtains in every bedroom for restful sleep, and on-site laundry for added convenience during longer stays.
Adventure is never far away. Lassen National Park is just 30 minutes away, offering scenic trails and hydrothermal wonders like bubbling mud pots and steaming vents. Lake Almanor invites hours of fun with 52 miles of shoreline—perfect for boating, kayaking, or enjoying the 42-mile paved Lake Almanor Recreational Trail by bicycle.

We had a wonderful stay! The host was very helpful with local dining recommendations. The cabin was clean, organized, and had everything we needed. We loved listening to the river right outside and it was just a short drive to Lake Almanor, where we enjoyed boating all weekend. Perfect location and an overall great experience—we’d definitely stay here again!

Ideal stay, within driving distance to the lake. access to the Nest thermostat was convenient to adjust the temperature to our comfort. Overall, a great stay. Could have left foot stools for kids to access the tall sinks in the restroom.

This property is very well maintained and stocked with all the necessities. We stayed in September and it was very quiet. Having coffee on the deck listening to the sounds of the river was the best way to start are day. We will definitely be back!!!!

Great location and beautiful property. Creek in back yard was amazing and the beds were very comfy.

I was very impressed. It was close to food and amenities. The lake was a close drive/ walk away.

Very well appointed cabin. Beautiful on the river location with a lovely deck. Comfy beds and linens. Property owner very responsive and friendly. Actually prefer river view to a lake view now, love the noise of the water. Adequate parking. Easy to lock up house with your own personal code. Would be nice to have streaming options that you don’t have to login to upstairs. Love the AC units! Overall great stay.

Family New Year

It was such a beautiful place. We were visiting family that we hadn't seen in a long time. The rental was less than a mile away so going back and forth was very easy. The view are absolutely breathtaking. Very nice accommodations and we'd definitely stay there again. The host was amazing at staying in touch and answering any questions we had.

A great place!

This was a great house to stay in. It's well appointed, clean and comfortable. It was a very short drive to the Hamilton Branch fishing access which was a big plus for my kids. The sound of the river behind the house was very peaceful. I would definitely recommend this for a quiet mountain getaway.

Just what I needed

It was a lovely stay at this clean and modernized house. The owner was lovely and the grounds were immaculate. It was amazing to wake up to the sounds of the Hamilton Branch and enjoy the starry nights on the balcony. I definitely plan to go back!

Gorgeous space in an incredible place!

Great Cottage on Peaceful River

Well appointed and recently remodeled cottage was perfect for a 3 night stay. My son and I came to the area for a fishing trip and this was close to all the spots by the lake. We had everything we needed to cook in each night and enjoyed listening to Hamilton branch river to go to sleep. Back deck had nice views of river and peaceful to sit for a rest. Debbie, the owner was communicated well checking in on us once there.

Relaxing

The view was spectacular and the sound of the river was so relaxing. We spend most of our time out on the deck relaxing and visiting. The property was very clean, the towels and bedding were plush, and all amenities were as listed. The host was very accommodating to our unexpected change in plans. We will definitely book again.

Get Away by the Lake

Beautiful location on the river with a cozy and functional design that is family friendly. We were lucky enough to have a dusting of snow which added to the beauty of the area. The river sounded wonderful from back deck. All basic amenities and pantry items were provided by host. Host was also available quickly for support as needed.

Suburb in all respects!

Debbie and Dave were the most responsive hosts we have encountered during our many years of experience with vacation rentals. The property was comfortable, immaculate and so well stocked and equipped we thought we were home. The view from the, to say nothing about the sound of the water was simply wonderful and so peaceful. The neighborhood was quiet and safe for long walks and they even delivered a freshly laundered blanket for our pooch to sleep. Simply a wonderful stay that we hope to repeat.

My husband, David, and I fell in love with Lake Almanor for its beauty and endless outdoor adventure. In the summer, you’ll find us boating, hiking, mountain and road biking, and waterskiing or wakeboarding. In the winter, we love downhill skiing and snowshoeing through the quiet forest trails. Lake Almanor gives us the best of every season, and we’re excited to share this special place with our guests.

Nestled perfectly on the Hamilton Branch inlet to Lake Almanor, this home boasts an ideal location. The allure of the branch captivated me from the moment I laid eyes on this property. The mesmerizing view and soothing sound of the creek sold me on the spot; I barely needed to explore the rest of the house.

Situated at the North end of the East Shore, near the Country Club golf course and Bailey Creek golf course on the peninsula, this home offers tranquility and convenience. Listen to the gentle cascade of the creek from the deck, with the occasional passing train adding to the charm.

Step inside to find a recently remodeled interior, complete with warm flooring that enhances the ambiance. From the living room, step out onto the spacious deck and savor your morning coffee surrounded by towering pine trees. This place truly feels like your home away from home.

Out on the deck, a fire pit table provides a cozy spot for guests to enjoy the outdoors and unwind. Additionally, allows guests to soak in the sights and sounds of the creek, accompanied by the occasional passing train.
The kitchen comes fully stocked with modern amenities, including a 4-burner electric stove, convection oven, microwave, garbage disposal, dishwasher, wet bar, and a variety of small appliances such as a drip coffee pot, toaster, variety of spices for your cooking needs. Guests will find an array of cookware, dishes, baking tools, wine glasses, and more for their culinary needs.
Guess are more than welcome to use our four kayaks if you have a way to transport it to the lake. Let us know in advance so we could give you a pin code to get into our shed kayak.

For those who prefer a good night's sleep, the bedrooms have room-darkening curtains, ensuring a restful slumber.
To ensure our guests' safety and comfort, we've recently installed a new ON DEMAND backup generator for added peace of mind during their stay.
