A wonderful blend of the sounds and smells of the ocean with a woodland view. Host was quick and helpful when responding to questions. There was a lot of thought put in to providing amenities for potential needs. Exceptionally clean and private.

The combination of ocean air and a peaceful woodland setting sounds like a lovely way to unwind. We put a lot of thought into the little extras that can make a stay feel comfortable and effortless, so it’s especially nice to hear those details stood out. And hearing that the home felt exceptionally clean and private is a wonderful compliment to our housekeeping team. Good location with great privacy. The house is has a beachy vibe but it’s not overdone. The beach itself is a relatively close walk from the front door and the back patio is a great spot to listen to the waves and the wildlife.

Family Getaway

We stayed three nights at this great little ocean getaway. The location was convenient for access to local grocery as well as being in walking distance to the ocean. All amenities were provided for, gas fireplace was a plus for the cold nights and the beds very comfortable. All in all it was a great place to stay.

Mountain escape at the Beach

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Journey's End feels like a luxury cabin in the mountains within walking distance to the beach. What could be better? We had wind, rain, sun, a little bit of everything with a very comfortable, cozy home. We enjoyed our beach walks with our pups, meeting and entertaining our beach friends (in our beach home). Tree top views, the ocean and wonderful daylight throughout the house. We would highly recommend MyCovia's restaurant in Ocean Park and the Waterline Pub in Ilwaco for a fantastic dining experience. Truly a couple of hidden gems. We would definitely return and highly recommend to our non-beach friends.
