***We continue to implement our already rigorous cleaning protocols along with an added layer of disinfecting, as we finalize for each guest arrival. Great stay for our family

We had a great time at this house as a short trip away for the July 4th weekend. Very relaxing atmosphere with the hot tub and great view outside and all of us had fun playing pool! About 15 min drive to the downtown but not a big deal and really enjoyed the location and experience.

Fun stay

We stayed here for just a weekend, but it was a good retreat with lots of space and plenty of stuff to do. I would definitely stay again.

Wine weekend!

A group of long time friends came together at Casa Merlot for a wine getaway. The house is beautiful and comfortable. It had everything we needed and we all felt very much at home. The yard is also great and very relaxing. Loved it!

Weekend Getaway

The house was very nice. Beds were comfortable and enjoyed all the little extras. Kitchen is well stocked and enjoyed the coffee varieties. Would definitely rent again.

We noticed how clean the house was when we arrived. The open area behind the house was raked and free of debris. The house is well stocked with cooking pots/pans/utensils for cooking and eating. The outside BBQ was very clean, and even had a reserve propane bottle. The furniture was comfortable and easily accommodates six people even though we were only four. The beds were comfortable and linens were provided for showering and for using the hot tub. Parking was plentiful and the area is peaceful. The location was ideal for an event we attended at Tobin James Winery. We would definitely stay at Casa Merlot for any future visits to the Paso Robles area.

Great Stay

The house was very comfortable for 5 adults. The location was great for visiting Paso Robles, Hearst Castle, San Luis Obispo, Morro Bay and Pismo Beach. We had a problem with the dryer and maintenance was able to fix it the same day. Great experience!

Peaceful

This house was perfect for a quiet getaway. The house sat up on a hill with a beautiful view and had a big backyard. It was a great house and would to love revisit it again.

Relaxing weekend

Great house with lots of amenities. The hot tub, pool table, horse shoe pits, lots of quiet outdoor seating areas, comfotable beds, large kitchen with plenty untensils and cookware. The house is about 10-15min from downtown, but we were fine with that.

Great place, but a little on the outskirts not as close to town as we thought, had a hard time getting an uber for dinner. Other than that the place was clean and beautiful and perfect for our family of 6 adults.

Perfect!

We visited wjith our friends to celebrate their marriage a nd introduce them to the wonderful Paso area. We loved this house! Clean, spacious and comfortable. We didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub or horseshoes, but really enjoyed the pool table. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great girls weekend away

Fabulous house to gather with girlfriends for a weekend away. House is close to many wineries, but a little further from town than expected. We enjoyed the hot tub and pool table, and overall the house was roomy and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again. I would recommend bringing your own plastic cups for outside tho as the house didn’t have any.

Great place

The house is a great place to stay. Huge property! Hot tub was wonderful! My only reason for 4 stars on location, is that it is difficult to find the first time. The street is also very narrow and hilly, But it was worth the hunt! Property management was easily accessible, and walked us thru a small problem with the internet.

Great stay

The house was roomy and well equipped. My only observation would be there were not enough towels or clean linens and so we used the washing machine and dryer, but the dryer didn’t dry very efficiently it took numerous cycles to get anything dry. But everything else worked and was wonderful. We loved the yard the barbecue the horseshoes. The pool table in the house was also a big head.

Lovely country house - perfect for families looking to be AWAY from the action

The house is lovely and was SPOTLESS CLEAN. Access was super easy. Beds are comfortable and kitchen had everything for meal prep, including coffee and tea pods. The downside- the property is at least 15 minutes driving from the nearest winery, 25 minutes from Downtown Paso Robles and a solid 40 minutes from the wineries West of 101 (like Justin). It is away from all of the action and neighbors are country living - chickens, roosters, horses and lots of barking dogs early in the AM. Perfect vacation house for a family, not the best location for a girlfriends wine weekend.
