Bungalow Sereno - Beach Chic!

Bungalow Sereno is one of two bungalows that can accommodate up to 4 guests at our Costa Rica Boutique Hotel located in the popular surf town of Santa Teresa, Costa Rica. Are you traveling with friends? We have you covered. Is your family looking for a Costa Rica surf vacation? Book now! Do you need to escape to paradise and enjoy the simple life? This IS the place.

Sereno is one of four bungalows at Blue Surf Sanctuary. Although each bungalow has the same layout, they are unique in their bed configurations and views of the property.

As you head down the stairs of Sereno, you will be tempted to stay by the pool for the remainder of your day as it is in your line of sight. Even if the pool is not where you decide to relax, the hanging bed neatly tucked under bungalow

The hummingbirds and butterflies will keep you entertained from your balcony as they dart from flower to flower for the sweet nectar they provide. Have a seat, kick your feet up and watch the clouds pass overhead. Yes, you are in heaven.

Each bungalow has a spacious, private bathroom. A large, tiled, walk-in shower and a beautiful hand carved sink compliment the beautiful teak accents throughout. Each bathroom has space for your toiletries on the ample shelving adjacent to the sink.

If you are a surfer you are less than a minute walk to some of the best surfing Costa Rica has to offer. Blue Surf Sanctuary has an upscale surf school located on property and just steps from the beach with experiences instructors available to teach all levels. We have the latest new equipment for teaching the 2022 season, bring your own board or rent one we will provide local insight to some of the best surfing in the world.

If you prefer to keep all activities on land, we can help arrange yoga, massage, ATV excursions, horseback riding or the most amazing dining experiences.

Our Costa Rica Boutique hotel is well established having greeted guests from all over the world since 2008. We were one of the first and remain one of the best in Santa Teresa. Let us help you enjoy a vacation of a lifetime

Perfect spot

Great location for surfing, adventures, restaurants. The property is modern, comfortable, and centrally located. Quick walk to the nicest beach. Regular visits by howler monkeys a definite plus! Nice pool, outdoor shared kitchen. Private location. Property manager, Leah, is the best - very responsive and helpful.

Nice surf

Property was well maintained, comfortable and a fun place to stay. Nice cool pool. Perfect location for surfing. Leah, property manager, was very helpful and friendly. Cleaning and maintenance staff were awesome. Great kitchen. Other guests were friendly and fun. Easy walk to surf breaks, restaurants. The property was very private, and overall security was great. Enjoyed neighborhood howler monkeys.

Loved our stay!

We absolutely loved this place! We wish we booked here longer. The rooms are really nice and spacious and the kitchen was well equipped! Everything is decorated so beautifully. There’s security at night which was nice! It’s a bit far from the main area but we rented ATVs and it was honestly better because it was a lot quieter. It’s really close to the beach and a really trendy beach restaurant/bar! Would recommend and would stay here again!

Blue Surf Sanctuary

We enjoyed the beautiful Sanctuary and proximity to the beach...2 minute walk. If you are driving, then you should have a car with high clearance as the street parking is your only choice and the small road is filled with deep gulleys. The area is delightful as far as the beach but there is so much construction in the town and the single road so you and your car gets covered in dust. Throughout our stay, we had a problem with a skunk which had sprayed and the smell lingered and was especially strong in our room when the AC came on. Rafa, our manager was incredibly helpful with ideas about places to visit and always responded to our questions immediately. He is a wonderful person and we thank him for his kindness. We were also very pleased with the cleaning and caretaking staff. The Sanctuary has a lovely vibe about it as four rooms share a pool and kitchen area. It is easy to meet others and to cook meals in the well stocked and very clean outdoor kitchen. There are 2 large refrigerators

We have been upgrading and renovating the property in 2022 to enhance our guests experience. New kitchen suppliers, newly renovated pool, all new bedsheets and towels as well as upgrading our surf inventory.

Derfor er dette overnatningssted unikt

Location, location, location - we are so close to one of the best surf breaks in Costa Rica and being able to walk down to the beach with your surf board is truly what makes our property so unique.
