Escape to our hand-built log cabin perched on top of Round Mountain, with what we think is the best view in Heber Springs — sweeping views over the town and Greers Ferry Lake that you could stare at for days. The cabin sleeps 12 across 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, and it's just a scenic 10-minute drive down the mountain to downtown, the marinas, Sandy Beach, and lake access.
THE SPACE
Main level: master bedroom with a queen bed and en-suite full bath (plenty of room for the pack-n-play), the living area, a fully equipped kitchen, and access to the wrap-around deck.
Upper level: two split bedrooms — one with 4 twin beds (the kids' favorite), and one with a queen bed and en-suite half bath.
Lower level: a second master with 2 queen beds and an en-suite bath, plus a game room with a pool table, Pop-A-Shot, board games, a smart TV, a small bar with sink, and the laundry room. It opens to another large deck with a covered picnic table.

GOOD TO KNOW
- We're a mountain-view cabin, not lakefront. The lake is a short drive away.
- It's a real, hand-built log cabin on three levels with steep stairs and a few low-clearance spots (marked with high-visibility tape), so it isn't a great fit for guests who can't manage stairs.
- The water comes from a private well. We recommend the filtered water from the kitchen sink or bottled water for drinking.
- The cabin is the only house on the street. The driveway fits about 3 cars, with extra parking on the street. The road up is paved but steep with switchbacks, and in snow or ice we recommend staying in and enjoying the cabin.
- The woods are all around you, so you may spot deer passing by.
- No hot tub, pool, or indoor fireplace.
- No pets (service animals welcome), no smoking or vaping, and no parties or events.
We're the McGarrys, a family who fell in love with Heber Springs, and we host the cabin ourselves. We can't wait to welcome you!
