Serenity

What an adorable, clean, well maintained, loved piece of property to be able to share with the owners during this blip in time.The hosts were friendly and made sure we felt welcomed. Very accomadating and easy to talk with.Upon pulling in you can feel and see the goals and dreams, hardwork, discipline and teamwork of the hosts playing out their dreams. Im grateful to have stayed here and will recommend and share our expereince with others. Kayaking and paddleboarding was on our list and this as beautiful and connected to the water as it is wasnt quite what we were looking for. The hosts property is a great "home base" to explore the accomadating surroundings.

Rest and recovery

My husband brought me down here to recover from a knee injury, just peace and quiet, far from stress, it was a perfect little cottage, John was great, always there to make sure are stay was great, loved the golf cart, we used it everyday to go to the dock House was clean, would stay here again

Quaint little cottage

This little cottage was perfect for what we need they also had a dock so we could keep our boat in the water I would highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a peaceful getaway

A quiet get away

The little cottage was adorable. Very well equipped with everything you might need. John was an amazing host, always ready to help. He let us use his gulf cart and had the fire pit ready to go. The fishing pier was so nice. Unfortunately my husband had some deteriorating health issues that sent us home early. I would love to return when he is in better health! Would definitely recommend!

Down by the river

Impeccably clean and comfortable, John and Linda were just delightful hosts ensuring that our stay felt just like being at home. Serene surroundings and daily walks down to the river made it even more enjoyable. We will be coming back without a doubt

Excellent Rental Unit

For anyone looking for a quaint cottage stay on rural Lake George, look no further. The hosts were extremely accommodating, very respectful & friendly, and made my stay feel as if I was home. The cottage is very well maintained, clean, super cold AC, most comfortable bed (adjustable Saatva), high definition television, and hot water. The host has a very large dock with lights and welcomes boats during the stay. 10/10 recommend this cottage!!

Short birthday trip

Spent my wife's bday at the cabin. Very nice accommodation located close to the water. Found local restaurants to be very delicious! Renegade's on the river is less than 5 minutes away; boat launch, bait store, restaurant and bar! Very short ride to Salt Springs and Silver Glen Springs. *plan on putting your boat on trailer when not in use, the owner's will allow docking but its not setup for that.due to height of platform.

We will be back

Everything went great. John is a great host and their property is beautiful. There are 3 boat ramps within a mile to use for backing the boat in the water, and John allows use of his dock if needed. This place is very new, well kept, and clean. We will definitely be back to stay again!

Relaxing

Wife and I spent a week here and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The cabin has everything you need and is tastefully decorated. We spent a lot of time relaxing on the dock and catching a variety of fish. John and Linda are excellent hosts.

10 Star Experience

I am traveling through Florida solo trying my luck at fishing along the way. This rental was perfect down to the finest detail, everything fresh new and clean The hosts are exceptional, they treated me like family. I caught some nice fish on the private dock, and even saw manatee, alligators and peacock up close. Its like a nature preserve. I highly recommend it.

Perfect getaway

This little cottage is perfect! It has everything you need with a little kitchen, laundry available onsite, a beautiful screened porch, and a short walk to a beautiful dock on the river. The sunsets are beautiful! The owner was very friendly and went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect. Highly recommend!

Spectacular Gem hidden in the woods

What a delightful getaway in the woods on the lake! The cottage is exactly as pictured, just the right size for two people with everything you could need. Hosts John and Linda are gracious hosts! We enjoyed delicious dinners at Renegades and scrumptious breakfasts at Idle Awhile. We were able to take a day trip to St Augustine which is only an hour away. Oh, I almost forget to mention how amazingly comfortable the bed is!! I was exhausted when we first arrived. I laid down on the bed and slept comfortably and peacefully!! We will definitely be planning another trip when the weather improves and we can enjoy all the outdoor activities in the area! Thank you Linda and John!

Second stay

This was our second stay in the cottage. Beautifully kept with a cozy fire pit. John is very knowledgeable about the area and the nearby springs. We kayaked in Salt Springs with dozens of manatees! We will certainly stop in again for a few days! Thank you, John and Linda for your hospitality!!

Weekend on the Water

This small quaint property is perfect for a couples getaway - beautiful studio apartment/cottage set up with queen craftmatic bed- couch seating area - kitchen with all the necessities and tiled bathroom. New and modern with screened porch for outdoor seating without knats or mosquitoes- fire pit for late night or evening enjoyment. A golf cart was available for travel to and from the dock where your boat or jet ski can be docked during your stay. 20 minutes to Spring Glen and the most amazing clear aqua blue water - Lake George for fishing or boating - Renegades Resort minutes away for breakfast lunch or dinner. Other great restaurants within minutes. Overall A+ accommodations - we will absolutely be back. Thank you to the Browns for sharing their beautiful river front property and their kind hospitality.
