Nice property

Good experience, nice property. Only issue is that you can’t park at the building during peak times and so you have to get shuttled to your vehicle. So you might not have access to your vehicle without a 15 minute wait

Nice condo just as described

Very clean, nice property. Great location overlooking Grandfather Mountain. We had a small issue with check in, but the owners were very prompt to respond and the issue was solved very quickly. Would stay again.

Had a wonderful time! loved the balcony with the beautiful view of the mountains.The condo was very nice and cozy. slept really well on the beds.they were pressure washing and the balcony was wet and it felt like it was raining.other than that it was wonderful

Sugar Bear Condo

This condo was wonderful. As soon as we stepped through the doors we were amazed at how nice the condo was and the view was absolutely amazing. You just can't beat watching the sunset in the mountains from your balcony. The condo was located at the top of a steep mountain but it was very close to grocery stores and restaurants. It was a great location for sightseeing. Would definitely stay here again.

Snowboard trip

We had a great time. The room was nicely decorated and well stocked with items you may need during your stay. The view from the balcony is beautiful. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to spend time in the Sugar Mountain area. It is at the top of Sugar Mountain so if the weather is bad you may need 4wd.

Beautiful condo with amazing views!

The condo was completely updated. Plenty of room for the four of us. Beautifully decorated. Perfect location right in the middle of all our adventures! The owner is an amazing communicator, answered all my questions and gave us some great recommendations! Will definitely visit again.

Stay at Sugar Top

The two bedroom condo was just right for our group. Lots of bears in the decor. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We have not stayed at a place with a shuttle service before and were worried about how it would work. But the shuttles and the drivers were GREAT! Loved having coffee on the balcony every morning and enjoying the beautiful view!

Loved it!!

The property was exactly as described, very clean and decorated wonderful! Had a couple of questions and the property owner responded within minutes. Needless to say would definitely go there again!

Cozy Weekend

Condo was super clean and cozy! Working fireplace, cute decor and seasonal touches. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen. The unit also had tidy and modern bathrooms. Most of our time was outdoors, but it was a great place to cozy up for the evening hours. Shuttle and gate house personal were so friendly and helpful. It was no problem getting the shuttle at all - it was our only concern, but it was a non issue. Gorgeous views and such a well maintained and beautiful building. Just lovely! So close and convenient to Sugar Mountain ski resort. A repeat visit for sure!

Comfy condo

Very clean. Check in was easy. Use of shuttle was effortless. Kitchen equipped well. The filter on fridge may need to be replaced, as the water barely trickled out of the in-door water system. The bathrooms were updated nicely but the water pressure was lacking, especially for a female with lots of long hair to wash. The indoor pool amenities were nice and easy to access. Figuring out the cable/roku/live tv ordeal was a struggle and may could benefit from written instructions somewhere in the room…having multiple remotes was confusing, but once we figured it out, there was LOTS to chose from. We’d stay here again…five stars. These few flaws, are just some recommendations that would help others but didn’t hinder us much at all.

Parking issues

It is a nice condo in a pretty cool location on top of the mountain, but there were some issues. The biggest issue was parking. You cannot park near the residence, other than to unload your stuff. Instead you park part way down the mountain and have to shuttle to the condo. While this might not be a problem for some, it was a problem for us because we went to sugar to mountain bike and we had to leave our bikes on the back of the truck in a parking lot over night or store them in a bike closet that all guests have access to.

Beautiful condo!

We really enjoyed this beautiful, well appointed condo! Everything is brand new with plush bedding, towels and mountain theme furnishings. The only complaint was that they were doing outside work on the building right at our unit. The noise was loud and the paint smell was strong. Normally we would want the windows open at this altitude but the AC would not work. I sent the owner an email in case there was something I wasn’t doing right but he did not respond . Also, housekeeping did not leave dishwasher detergent so we left it full of dirty dishes. But I would definitely stay here again when they get the painting and repairs done.

The property was well appointed and clean. We loved being there. Our only problem was that the sofas were uncomfortable when we were watching TV or reading.

We totally enjoyed our stay. The condo is decorated fantastically and the unit is very clean! The view is outstanding and the unit is very close to many fun things to do in the area. The furniture is nice and the beds are super-comfy!The owner even called to make sure we were comfortably and didn’t have any problems. We will be back and stay in this specific unit every time we return to the area.
