Take in the stunning beach views from any of the three decks at All Decked Out. This large three bedroom two bath home in Pirates' Beach Galveston is only a short walk to the water. Located at the corner of Ghost Crab and Grand Terre in Pirates' Beach, here at All Decked Out you'll enjoy breezes from different directions. Guests can sit out on the deck and catch the sea breezes, then walk to the beach (short, one block walk).

Guests will enter through the open concept living/dining/kitchen. The living area features a large sectional sofa and 55'' curved HDTV for exceptional viewing. This home also features cable television and wifi for the convenience of the guests. The kitchen at All Decked Out is completely outfitted for preparing everything from a small snack to a seafood feast after a day of fishing. Kitchen has full size refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, and nearly every conceivable kitchen item! Dishes, glassware and cooking utensils provided for the number of guests shown (10). Two large bedrooms are located on the main living floor. One of the two bedrooms features a king bed (sleeps 2), the other bedroom features a full over full bunk bed (sleeps 4), and has a 40'' flat screen for the children to enjoy. Go upstairs to a private primary suite with king bed and a twin over twin trundle bed (sleeps 4). The primary bedroom also features a 55'' flat screen and an en suite bath with shower, and access to the third deck. The second bath is on the main floor and has a tub/shower combination.
Pirates' Beach, located on the beachside of the island, East of Jamaica Beach and Galveston Island State Park, is one of the island's most popular neighborhoods, as families have been vacationing in Pirates Beach for generations! Pirates' beaches are some of the best kept on the island, and many guests appreciate that vehicles are not able to drive on the beaches here (guests are able to park at one of the many neighborhood cul-de-sacs to easily carry beach gear to the beach). Pirates’ Beach has its own small grocery mart, liquor store and even fresh seafood markets and bait shops. If you want to stock up on some essentials, Hummel’s General store is a one-stop shop for groceries, ice, fresh deli sandwiches and pizza, pretty much all the goodies you may need for a vacation weekend.

This home is pet-friendly. One pet is allowed. Weight limit of 40 pounds.

Very nice property with good access to the beach. View of the beach from the balconies. Kitchen was well supplied with dishes and cooking materials. Everything was clean and up to date. Washer and dryer were just right.

It was perfect for our last minute staycation. Property was clean, kitchen fairly well stocked, (no spices, foil ect) Short walk to beach, but take a wagon if you can. We loved the rocking chairs on upper level.

The home was set up great for the the few days we stayed there. It was pet friendly. The only issue we had was that the front door bolt and lock didn’t secure the front door.

We discovered our first night there that the knob on the primary shower was missing so that shower/bathtub was unusable for our entire 4 day stay. I called immediately the first night to report it (texted the attached pictures) and was told someone would fix it the next day. Long story short I called, texted and emailed every day of our stay and it never got fixed. This meant that we only had access to one shower our entire stay. With 4 people needing showers before dinner every night this was a major inconvenience and certainly not what we paid for. The refund committed at the management company did give me a small refund but it wasn’t at all fair compared to what I paid for the rental. I don’t know how someone could have said the house was ready to be occupied when it was clear there was no knob on the upstairs shower. I have never written a negative review before but since I don’t feel like I was treated fairly in this case I think others need to know.

This was perhaps our favorite place to stay in Galveston after numerous years of trips. The deck is lovely; the kitchen is modern, roomy, and well-provisioned; the living spaces are even larger and more comfortable than they appear in the photos; and the 3 bedrooms with different bed types provided several great options for teenagers, family, and friends. Having a little view of the Gulf was great (especially from the upper balcony), and being one block from the beach was very convenient. This was a fantastic house for a week get-away, and pet friendly. We'll be back!

Short walk to the beach & great views of fireworks!

My family and I had a great stay! The house was clean, spacious and well stocked. We loved how close to the beach the house was, and sitting on the front deck gave us great views! The side of the deck also gave us awesome views of the Pirates Beach fireworks show!

This home has a lot of potential and some wonderful features, but unfortunately our experience was mixed.The positives first: the location is excellent, with beautiful beach views from the porch. We spent a lot of time relaxing outside, and the porch was one of our favorite parts of the house. The furniture was comfortable, the kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed, and the primary bathroom was nicely updated.Unfortunately, several maintenance and housekeeping issues took away from our stay. The refrigerator and freezer had a very strong odor when we arrived, and we had to buy cleaning supplies and clean them ourselves before we could use them. There was also rusty hurricane shutter debris and sharp metal left on the deck, and the shutters were still partially closed upon arrival. A maintenance worker came to remove everything, but we felt those issues should have been addressed before guests checked in. We were refunded a small amount for the supplies and inconvenience.The biggest disappointment was the communication. Responses were slow, and resolving issues during our stay was more difficult than it should have been.Overall, this home has a fantastic location, gorgeous views, a comfortable interior, and a lot of potential, but the maintenance issues and lack of communication made it hard to fully enjoy our stay.

Great beach rental!

The location of the neighborhood and house was great! Ocean views from the house and a super short walk to the beach. The house had everything we needed including some games for the kids and beach accessories.

Was close to the beach although it was not very clean (lots of dead bugs on floor and tubs). The air conditioning struggled to remove moisture from the air so while it was cool it was muggy.

Thanksgiving get away

The location of this house is awesome. Being just a block from the beach, you can see the beach/Gulf from the decks. Kitchen was well stocked and furnishing were comfortable. Only thing we didn't like was that the only window coverings were in the master bedroom. The 2 downstairs bedrooms and the living/kitchen/dining area had no window coverings.

Great location but the house was dirty. Kitchen floor was filthy. Couch full of stains, bedding and carpets dirty and smelly. We only received 6 towels for 10 people so we were constantly washing, not what I wanted to do on vacation.

I still have not heard back from the host about a refund when we were forced to leave the property because the AC was broken. VRBO did not live up to their promised standards and only refunded 20% after I dealt with maintenance people and stayed on the phone for HOURS while the property owner could not be reached and again, still had not honored the refund. I have a very large rental coming up and asked if VRBO could take 20% off of that listing to make it right and they refused. So everyone got my money but I didn’t get a vacation. Exhausted and defeated we returned. They wouldn’t help us get another property even (like their commercials clearly say they will). I really have never experienced anything like it. The house was WAY too hot to stay in. I had no choice but to leave it up to fate if I was going to see my money back. Zero stars.

Best Staycation

We have never vacationed near home, but had Galveston on our to do list for a while, so we decided on All Decked Out and was not disappointed! We stayed during the pandemic, but the house was clean, and the check in was very convenient. Simply picked up our key, no papers to fill out, and was on our way. The house is one block from the beach, easily accessible to restaurants and food/liquor stores, and even bought fresh Salmon across the street at Alex's Seafood. We wanted to buy fresh crab, but they only sell Fridays and Saturdays, so be sure to check them out on those days for fresh crab. We went to Watermans for a family dinner, and bought Pizza at the pizza joint next to Alex's. So convenient! We also had grocery delivery which I highly recommend. The house fit our whole family of 9 with plenty of seating around dinner table and couch to watch tv. The house is decorated with tons of charm that makes you feel like you're at the beach. I would highly recommend this house for your family vacation!

Roaches, ants and spiders - needs pest control

The property is a great location, but the issues with the pest in the house was unacceptable. There were ants in the downstairs shower, spiders in the bedroom with the bunk beds. That would have perhaps been able to not right a review, but when large roaches came out in the kitchen the only night we cooked in it - truly disgusting. We opened a drawer on the peninsula island and one roach large one was within. We were able to capture and kill. A few minutes later another roach was crawling across the counter in front of the sink - that one we also killed. We opened the dishwasher where yet another large roach - this is where we all left the kitchen. It was like the invasion of the roaches. Most of family refused to walk into the kitchen again. The outdoor shower was also non-operational and with no awareness workers showed up to work on it. Still didn't work after they departed. I am only taking the time to write this in hope that the next guest they have taken the neccessary steps to fix the problem. I live about an hour from this property and know first hand that routine pest control is the simple way to never have these issues. I did call the management company the night of the roaches and the call was not returned or addresssed. I also submitted the issues directly to their site letting them know that I would also be writing a review.

This is a lovely beach house. Excellent view of the ocean and a short walk to the beach. We loved the updated look to the kitchen. It’s a very spacious home as well so a good amount of room for extra guests. The master bedroom is very nice with its own little deck and rocking chairs.My only complaint is I wasn’t able to use the bathtub or shower. The faucet didn’t work. That’s a pretty big deal in my opinion. I immediately messaged who I thought was the owner of the property I guess it must’ve been the rental company. Never got a phone call or anyone to stop by to fix it so that I could use it so I shared the only other shower downstairs with my daughter, which fortunately it was just she and I staying there at the time. Very disappointing.Other than that complaint, I have no complaints. I would stay there again with the reassurance that all of the showers work.

Great house, one block from the beach. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the beach house and balcony views. Plenty of room and kitchen has all the necessary items for preparing meals. Will return again if available on our next Galveston visit.
