Perfekt ferie 4BR hjem beliggende 1 mile gå / cykeltur til smukke South Beach og 3 miles fra downtown Edgartown. Smukt indrettede rummelige moderne hjem tilbyder 2. sal levende områder med katedral lofter og åben spiseplads, alrum, køkken og tv-stue / den. Tre glidende glasdøre åbner til et stort privat sydvendt dæk, som har en trappe til den spændende rooftopewow's Walk dæk, som er fantastisk til at se solnedgange og stjerne stirrer. Køkkenet er fuldt udstyret med opvaskemaskine, mikrobølgeovn og tredive meter pladsplads. TV-stue / den indeholder stor fladskærm, første sal har fire soveværelser og 1 soveværelse ovenpå. Master BR m / queen size seng og privat bad, en anden med en queen size seng og to soveværelser med fuld størrelse senge, der deler en ekstra fuld bad. På anden sal har vi et lille værelse med to mindre størrelse enkeltsenge til kun små børn. Vores Den har en dør på den, og vi har også en ny, fuld størrelse sovesofa med sovesofa. Huset er fuldt udstyret og tilbyder vaskemaskine / tørretumbler, gratis ubegrænset U.S. Opkald og trådløst internet.

The perfect beach house getaway!

This house is perfect for a week trip on the island. We stayed with our family and had plenty of room to spread out, relax and enjoy our time. Mike was a terrific host and gave us plenty of guidance both before and during the trip. We will definitely be coming back!

Katana House was Amazing

Perfect house for the four of us, our dog, and a couple of the kids friends for a week on Martha’s Vineyard. The location was convenient to town and beach. Best of all were the bikes and beach chairs, we used them daily. A great place to reconnect as a family.

The property was exactly as described. Great location. Plenty of room for everyone. Kitchen clean and well stocked. Bathrooms updated and clean. Beds comfortable. The house everything we needed and then some! Lots of room for family to have their own privacy . Nice long dining table for evening games. Super quick walk to Katama Kitchen. Bikes that were available allowed us to bike everywhere including Chappy! We brought our own linens but the washer dryer were super helpful to have. When the beach was windy we spent time on the rooftop deck. So beautiful! I highly recommend staying here. Mike was so helpful and very accessible. Thank you!

I really enjoyed this house. The location is convenient to getting to downtown Edgartown as well as to the beach. House was clean and plenty of open space on main floor.

Fantastic location, and everything you need

We had a wonderful stay at Mike's lovely Katama property. The house is well-stocked, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need to put together a great meal, and I can't say enough about the views from the rooftop deck. Mike is a communicative and helpful owner. Highly recommend this rental.

Nice place for all of us.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. We didn’t spend a lot of time at the house but it certainly served its purpose. I think it would be a great place to stay in the summer with its proximity to the beach and bike path. The only minus was having to drive the long way around because of the horrible condition of the main dirt road. All that said, I would certainly stay there again!

Perfect for our Family

House was perfect for our family. Lots of space for four adults and two little ones. The children really enjoyed having their own special room with 'kid-sized' beds and the roof deck was an especially big hit with both the adults and kids. The house is in a great location near South Beach and the bike path.

Great property and location

If you love Katama, you will love this place. Across from the Katama airfield, this house is Avery short walk to the beach, general store, and Katama Kitchen. The house works for families of all sizes but the feature point has to be the roof deck with 360 degree views. The sunset up there is spectacular. I highly recommend!

A Perfect Family Rental

My family and I vacation on Martha’s Vineyard every year and this is one of the best homes we have been to. We really enjoyed having the bedrooms on the first floor as you can walk right in after being at the beach, clean yourself up, then go right upstairs to relax a bit. The rooftop porch is an excellent spot to catch some sun privately or view the milky way at night. Mike is extremely friendly and communicative, I highly recommend his home!

Perfect Location, Well Appointed Home

We found the house to be spacious, well furnished with entertainments for all ages, comfortable, perfectly situated for trips to the beach or anywhere on the island, and sun-filled. The rooftop aerie and deck were ideal for outdoor meals and relaxation. Mike was so accommodating and easy-to-reach, affable and knowledgeable about the area, the ferry, clamming, etc. Really a great resource. We enjoyed our visit immensely and recommend it to anyone wishing to sample the singular pleasures of Martha's Vineyard while "camped" at a cozy home in a lovely neighborhood.

Great Location, Helpful Host, Highly Recommend

We ended up booking the house a year in advance as we were staying for a wedding. The host, Mike, was super helpful and reached out a few times during the year to remind us about the busy ferry schedules and to make sure we had everything we needed. The house was in great shape with plenty of room for 5 couples. Having the rooftop deck was a nice feature to help enjoy the surprisingly warm weather. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a gateaway that does not want to be around the super busy areas of the island!

Great Stay in Katama!

The rooftop deck was perfect for stargazing, the location was close to South Beach and the Katama airfield (much fun to go watch the small planes and enjoy the new Katama Kitchen restaurant) and convenient to Edgartown. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip, and the house was well-suited for our group of four adults (everyone had his or her own bedroom) and the layout was great for shared spaces for socializing or quiet places for work or relaxing. The owner was very responsive and helpful, and we had a wonderful time. We didn’t use the bikes that were there because our trip was so short, but they would be very convenient to get around or bike to the beach. A perfect way to start the summer.

Great vacation

We enjoyed the property very much. It’s within walking distance to South Beach and a General Store. We loved that there were beach towels, sheets, and beach chairs for our use. The kitchen was well equipped with all the pans, utensils, and cups/plates you’ll need. The A/C in the rooms was Great! There’s no A//C upstairs in the kitchen/dining area, so it can get toasty during the day, even with the ample fans. Having access to bikes was great. They are a bit worn, but usable. Overall great stay. I recommend the house.

Perfect in every way!!!

What an amazing home, great location, and excellent host!! We celebrated our daughter’s birthday for an extended weekend including a couple of her friends. This house was just the perfect set up in terms of layout, rooms, and outdoor space…plus bikes included made the experience so easy and wonderful for us all, most importantly our teen daughter and her best friends. Mike was great in reaching out in advance to make sure we knew all the places to visit and to make sure we had a great and comfortable stay. We can’t wait to return!!! Thank you Mike!!!

Great house

We were there for a wedding and it was lovely. We thought it was a little closer to town so we had to Uber everywhere. We did walk into town one day, it’s a hike. Very comfortable house and the owner is great. I would suggest having washcloths. The washing bed linens and towels before we left was a problem. Our flight was early so that was not convenient. I would have that be part of the cleanup fee. Other than that it was an amazing experience. We would definitely rent this house again.

This home could be wonderful but needs a little TLC.

The location and size of this home is wonderful but it needs a little TLC. The kitchen is old and every time you opened the dishwasher the front panel fell off. There are a lot of cabinets but they are full of so many unnecessary items. No ac adds to a very humid sticky feeling. The whole house needed a good scrubbing. The bathrooms had mold in the corner The outdoor space is also wonderful and my grandchildren had plenty of space to run around after we came home from the beach. The location is perfect and they all enjoyed riding their bikes to the beach and the adults also rode their bikes to Edgartown in the evening. With a little care this could be a perfect home but we all felt a little uncomfortable.

Springtime By the Sea

Mike and his house were perfect for my two friends, sister, and me...each of us had the privacy of our own bedroom, and the common area second floor was set up for relaxing, socializing, cooking, eating, etc. All beautifully decorated in beachy colors and theme...back deck facing south was sunny and warm, and top observation deck was fun to watch sunrises, sunsets, and stars...also very private for sunbathing. Quiet, secluded neighborhood located close to South Beach, where we walked and biked. Edgartown is just a few miles away, where Mike steered us to many great attractions/restaurants, as well as answered any questions promptly and extensively...I especially appreciated his immediate phone call as soon as I finalized my reservation...nothing like speaking directly with a (real human) host! He also called ahead to inform me of a cable tv connection delay, and offered solutions should we need to have it, which we did not, as he has NetFlix, wi-fi, streaming, etc. We lucked out with the weather which was sunny and dry, and warmed up to 75 by the end of the week...spent most of the daylight hours outdoors, which we had been hoping for🤞🍀🌞. Mike's house was very clean and spacious, with plenty of bathrooms, and all the amenities listed were there in working order...we all enjoyed our Mon-Sat MV getaway immensely! Our two friends who had never visited this island before, loved it, as much as my sister and I do...thank you, Mike, for hosting us all on this special trip!

Very nice house close to beach

Great place for a great price

The property was clean when we checked in and has everything that you need. The rooms are a great size and there’s plenty of bathrooms for a large group. We enjoyed being out on the deck and the rooftop deck was beautiful at night. There’s a telescope so we did some star gazing. There are ACs in every bedroom which keep the sleeping areas cool. The owner was always easy to get in contact with and was knowledgeable of the island and very friendly.

Loved this house!

The house was perfect for our family. There were eight of us in total (me, my husband, our three kids, and each of their significant others) as well as our two dogs. There was plenty of room for all, and an awesome large dining room table that fit everyone and was perfect for meals and game nights. The location was great, too, as it was near everything, yet remote. Michael, the host, was great about keeping in touch and answering any questions that we had. We look forward to renting the house again!

This is a wonderful contemporary home located in Katama a short distance from South Beach. Unlike many homes, the living space (Kitchen, living room, dining room, and separate TV room/den) are all located on the 2nd floor. House is unique because it has two decks-one off the 2nd floor and a fun rooftop deck with tables and padded loungers..

Our roof-top deck is awesome. You'll love looking at the stars from the amazing rooftop deck (have a telescope for your viewing pleasure)! Have all the amenities you'll need including: gas grill, beach chairs, comfortable beds and nicely decorated comfortable home. Near bike path to town or the beach. Near grass Katama airport-take a ride on a Bi-plane or enjoy breakfast at the Fork in the Road diner.
