Thanksgiving Layover

We dropped into McCall on our way to Boise to visit family, needed a pet friendly, 1 night stay at about the halfway point. Unit was clean and comfortable. Host suggested a couple great casual dinner spots. Only issue was we couldn't get the remotes to work for the TV/entertainment system.

Excellent Condo

Great communication from property manager, beautiful cozy interior, and great location, very close to town. Would definitely stay at this condo again.

Relaxing stay

Great home to come in and unwind after a long day at hockey camp. Had exactly what we needed. We loved being close to the private airport and would frequently walk down to watch planes come in and take off. It was a quiet location in a residential neighborhood.

Parking was a little difficult with a trailer and truck with others in parking lot. And bed was a little uncomfortable other then that it was a great location.

Fantastic little place

This little one bedroom was perfect for out get away! And the host was so nice. Walking distance to almost everything!

Great Location

Great location for walking, very quiet and close to a lovely walking trail. The bed was very comfortable and everything we needed was there. The only negatives aren't REALLY negatives....more like suggestions. We felt that a bathmat for the shower is needed...the tub is VERY slick. Also, the living room rug needed to be cleaned. Overall, great place, clean and just right for what we needed!

McCall ski trip

Had a great time at the property. Proximity to both Tamarack Ski resort and Brundage Ski resort is what brings me to McCall. Alex was very easy to work with and quick to respond to any questions I had. Kitchen was very functional and well stocked with what we needed to cook breakfast and supper. Would definitely stay again in the future.

Cozy & dog friendly

A good option for an affordable condo in a quiet area that allows doggos. Only downside, no outdoor deck or patio, very limited windows & view.

Overall met our needs but room for improvements

Overall, we really enjoyed our time here. McCall is a cool town and the skiing at Brundage and Tamarack were amazing. The unit met our needs but I thought I'd share a few bits of feedback that have also been echoed in earlier reviews. Hopefully the collective feedback will lead to some minor improvements that will make future guest visits better: 1. Provide better check-in information (unit number, location, parking,etc) 2. Improved heating situation, bedroom floor unit works fine but living room unit heats poorly and old dining room unit doesn't work/unsafe 3. Safety - outlets missing outlet covers, electrical cords piled up in corners, over-used outlets with multiple extenders. 4. Bathroom fixtures are old and hard to use - e.g. sink faucet is either off or full blast. 5. TV remote missing? - only saw a Roku but didn't operate the TV. 6. Missing trash bags and water glasses. 7. Unit needs a good cleaning

Condo was far from downtown. For a full kitchen, there were missing amenities. There were a couple housekeeping issues. Property manager very responsive.

1st time in McCall

This was the perfect location for us, close to everything. The condo was fitted with all you needed, the only downside was the lamp in the living room didn’t work and there wasn’t any drinking glasses, only coffee mugs. We made it work 😊 We were very comfy and cozy, we l loved our stay.

Clean, comfy & cozy

Had a great stay for our son’s hockey weekend. The condo was clean, the bed was comfy and it was the cutest little cozy place. Decor has been tastefully updated since the photos were taken. Family games available and everything else needed for a nice stay. Will definitely stay again. Great location as well. Thank you!

Great Location!

The apartment is cozy, allows dogs, within walking distance to the center of McCall, and reasonably priced. The kitchen was lacking quite a few essentials for cooking but otherwise it was good enough for a short stay. The listing said there was a hot tub but it was an error and a little disappointing but hopefully that has been updated for future guests. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location

This little condo was in the best location! It was walking distance to a few stores. It was tastefully decorated and had all the amenities we needed. Only downside was the sofa bed and master bed weren’t comfortable, the kitchen light went out and the owner never responded, the dishwasher needs some help and the shower curtain needs replaced due to mildew. All in all this was a great stay and we would definitely stay there again if some of those minor issues were fixed.

Nice quick weekend condo

Comfortable, no-frills place to stay for the weekend. Everything worked. I liked that there was a coffee pot (not just a landfill filler, plastic-wasting Keurig). Dishwasher updated. Ad said hot tub. But there was none…but I still would have stayed there. Upstairs neighbors footsteps and TV heard very easily. Bed was comfortable and clean.

Great location but needs a better cleaning crew

We have stayed here a couple times. Both times we have had issues with cleanliness. I dropped my glasses in the couch and had to move couch to retrieve. It was pretty obvious no one has moved that couch to clean in quite some time. The shower curtain was mildewed both stays. The bed is most uncomfortable. This could be a great rental with a new mattress and a better cleaning crew.

Liked the little kitchen, the bed was comfortable with nice bedding, towels, dishes, all good and plentiful. Wifi great, tv programs available very good. Didn't like bathroom, shower, or 0 towel racks, 70's style. some lights were out, not a good view out windows,.. The animal smell was pretty bad, but it is pet friendly, so ? Just wish everybody house trained pets. The host was quick to answer, and friendly.

Not to shabby

Communication was great. Place is very small. Great for a 2 person get-away. Arrived late and it was dark. I couldn't see the numbers on the buildings or doors. Didn't know there were 3 buildings in the complex. Took me 20 minutes to find the correct apartment. It got a little toasty during day and into late evening, being there is no AC. Also, no way to watch live TV. So missed football on Sunday. It was a place to stay while on-call for the hospital. Bedding seemed fresh and clean. Mattress wasn't super comfy, but I'm used to my own, so maybe others find it to be ok? Would probably stay there again.

The outside is horrible we had a view of a dumpster and a porta potty. There are rocks and weeds in the front with a lot of dog poop and cig. butts One of the windows you can't see out of,it is opaque. There are no screens on the windows so you really can't open them. The sheets and pillows are very old and worn out. the mattress is very uncomfortable. It is a 5 min drive not walk to the lake that was not clear. Instructions should be left how to use the lock combo. A lot of clutter in closets in kitchen and bathroom, there is no place to put anything. There are 12 dishes of all sizes a million tea and coffee cups but no glasses. It would be good to get rid of some of the plates & cups and add glasses (you only have 4 people stay there) I doubt they need 12 + of everything. The shower soap is axe for men. Most places leave shower soap thats useable. The carpet in the living room is stained and worn out. The furniture in the living room is very comfortable the TV works well. I don't believe there is anyway 4 adults could be comfortable there. Maybe two adults and two kids. There are no kitchen dish towels. If the cupboards were cleaned out there would be room for the food that is brought. Its very nice that there are games there to play and the furniture inside is very cute. It was superficially very clean. The fridge door should open from the other side. There was construction drilling and sawing going on everyday first thing in the morning until at least 8:30 pm

Cute Condo

Overall this is a nice little place. It was quite and local was good. A few little things prevent me from giving this a 5 star. The lock on the front door was a bit tricky. The touchscreen was a bit slow to respond due to the cold weather. This unit was on the end and the snow had a tendency to stack up on the door. When the snow melted it made a puddle that would not drain. The puddle then froze into a sheet of ice. Thankfully the complex had ice melt outside the doors so we were able to melt the ice making the walkway a bit safer. The shower curtain smells like mildew and the bathroom faucet sticks (pull on, push off).. Good thing we don’t have arthritis or we would not have used that sink. No plug for the kitchen sink. This unit does have an old dishwasher that work well enough. I was glad there were plenty of blankets because the only heat in this unit are floor units. There were a bunch of remotes in the drawer under the TV that did not work. There were batteries but they did not fit the remotes. The only remote we were able to get working was the Roku ( we bought batteries). Never could get the TV remote to turn on/off or adjust the volume the TV. In short, this unit could use some updates. Definitely needs better heating units and new bathroom sink faucet.
