The property was exactly as described and pictured. The common room was comfortable for us all (7 people) to gather and to eat. Bedrooms were comfortable. Dimmers on the overhead lights were a nice touch. The neighborhood was quiet.We chose it because it is close the Fair Park and indeed we could have walked. We ended up driving, but that was super easy. We had 3 vehicles and it was easy to park them all in the driveways.We didn’t need to talk much to the host, but what little we did was smooth and prompt.I had my small dog with me and it was easy to have her in the house. If we come to the Fair next year, I would stay here again.

Don't get catfished. If you're unfamiliar with Dallas as we were, let me save you some time. This house is in a rundown sketchy area. The pictures do not provide an accurate representation. We arrived very late at night and there were homeless people walking around outside. It felt sketchy enough that we were worried about our car in the driveway all night. First impression, the owners seem to have worked hard to set up a house that is declining. Baseboards are dirty. The couch smelled like pee. The garage is turned into a bedroom and the doorknob to that room fell off and none of the outlets worked. The hallway bathroom toilet was clogged. My son found hair in one bed so didn't want to sleep in it. We live 3-1/2 hours away so had no choice but to stay the first night. We were supposed to stay two nights. I messaged the owner after the first night to share our concerns and let them know we did not feel comfortable staying a second night. I received a canned response with checkout instructions. Would not recommend.

The property is conveniently located to everything that you would want to do in Dallas along with the fact that the host was so accommodating and so welcoming my friends and I enjoyed our stay and we would definitely come back and stay again. There was so much room and everything was comfortable.

Family vacay 2k24

The house look just like it’s pictured, plenty of space for the party we had with us (14) and everyone slept comfortably,the host communicated back really fast and was very pleasant.. the street it’s on is busy and u will see a lot of people walking up and down the street other than that we enjoyed our stay

Our stay was bitter sweet as we needed the house for a memorial service for my sister who passed away. The house was greatly sized for our family of 14 people. The outdoor space was awesome to be able to not feel crowded. The dining room table is huge and allowed for plenty of room for family meals and game time. We had a few people in the area who stopped by the fence asking for food or a drink, but nothing we couldn’t handle. We felt safe, the house was nice and clean. Lots of parking was a huge plus as we all drove from Oklahoma. This house is great for a large group! I would stay there again for sure!

Great house, bad location

This property was so cute! We loved the inside of the house very nice and clean. The outside of the house was exactly what was pictured however the neighborhood was awful. It looks like people are trying to buy and build to clean up the neighborhood. LOTS of homeless walking around but its also downtown… contact with the property owner was very easy and I received a response very quickly. I enjoyed it and would definitely stay again.

Sketchy area

This house is in a very unsafe area, multiple times we couldn’t get Ubers because of the area the house is located. The houses cleanliness could have been better, not everything needed was provided, but communication with the host was excellent, they got us whatever was missing. I wouldn’t recommend a stay here solely because of the location of the property.

Bachelor party stay

John and Gina were excellent hosts! The property was extremely clean upon arrival, and check in was a breeze. I have felt duped before when booking rentals, where the photos are of a pristine house and then I show up and it is nowhere near what the photos looked like...not here! The cleanliness and set up of the photos is exactly what I got when checking in. The house is very spacious, which allowed us to take advantage of the included beer pong set up ;) Another guest mentioned the location...and while yes, it is not the absolute best, it is nowhere near the worst either. You can tell there are some new builds/rentals in an area that local residents live. That is it. If this is something you are worried about, rest assured that there is plenty of off-street parking, all covered by multiple security cameras that the hosts have set up. While renting their space, my groomsmen and I had absolutely no issues with this and felt completely safe. 10/10 would recommend this property to anyone needing a large rental close to Deep Ellum! Excellent place to stay in. The host was very responsive and attentive to our queries. They provided plenty of supplies in the kitchen. All appliances were working well. The dishwasher was a bit confusing for me since it seemed like it had a longer wash cycle than what I'm used to. But it cleaned very well. Clean beds and bathrooms. We did unfortunately run out of shower gel in one of the bathrooms because we were quite a few people. There is a Fiesta grocery store where you can get almost everything you'd need and also a gas station that are about a mile away. Dos Equis pavilion is so close to the property. There isn't any garage parking, but plenty of driveway parking for about 5-7 cars based on the size of your rigs.
