Welcome to The Overlook, your perfect home away from home during the upcoming summer season in the Galena Territory. This contemporary three-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bathroom home is the ideal retreat for a relaxing and fun-filled vacation. Enjoy the firepit under starry skies, sweat it out in the sauna, soak in the hot tub, or challenge your friends to Pac-Man or foosball. Perfect for families and couples alike. Oh, and dog-friendly.

Located just a short drive to the Owner's Club and 7 miles to Downtown Galena, The Overlook offers a prime resort location. The upper level of the house features an open floor plan with a spacious and bright kitchen dining room, a lovely screened porch, and a deck overlooking the peaceful backyard. The living room boasts a gorgeous picture window that brings the beauty of the outdoors inside.

For entertainment, the lower level of the house offers a family room complete with a foosball table and everyone's favorite classic arcade game, Pac-Man. And after a long day of exploration, unwind and rejuvenate in the sauna.

The primary bedroom, located on the main level, offers soaring ceilings, a comfortable king bed, and a desk for those who may need to catch up on work or simply want to write postcards to loved ones. The large primary bathroom provides a spa-like experience. On the lower level, you'll find two additional bedrooms, one with a king bed and one with a queen bed, as well as a pullout sofa in the family room for additional sleeping space.

Experience the magic of the night sky at The Galena Territory, a Certified Dark Sky Community. Gather around the firepit under the dark, starry skies and create lasting memories with your loved ones. Don't forget to bring your telescope or stargazing app to explore the wonders of the night sky.

We understand that your furry friends are part of the family, which is why The Overlook is dog-friendly. You can bring up to two dogs with you for an additional non-refundable fee of $150.

During your stay, you'll have access to the Owner's Club amenities. Six access cards are provided, giving you and your guests access to indoor and outdoor swimming pools, basketball, pickleball, and tennis courts, Lake Galena, and the Marina. If you need additional guest passes, they can be purchased at the Owner's Club for $5 per person per day. Please note that access cards or passes are only required for guests over the age of 5.

While we do not have an illness or weather cancellation policy, we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance for your peace of mind. Travel insurance can be purchased after booking.

Please be aware that all COVID-19-related restrictions have been lifted for the Owner's Club amenities, with a few exceptions. While we cannot guarantee reservations, we strive to provide the best experience possible. In the event that the Owner's Club amenities are not available during your stay, we regretfully cannot offer discounts or refunds. If The Overlook is not available on your preferred dates, please reach out to us to inquire about availability at our other Galena Territory properties.
