Universal Studios adventure

Initially I was worried after reading the reviews. I read through the responses and felt they were reasonable. I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival. The pictures of the condo were very accurate and the host was easy to communicate with. The location made it easy to enjoy the theme parks and seemed to be 20 minutes or less from everything.

Nice corner Unit and overall property

We were in town for soccer like a lot of our travel is these days. This unit has everything you need for a nice stay with a family of 5! Property has nice pools that we never actually had the chance to use, but they looked very nice! Overall a good value and much nicer than renting 2 hotel rooms. WiFi was very good as I did a few Teams meetings with no issues… of course still working! 😃. Also plenty of parking which is always nice! I would recommend!

Dirty

When we arrived property did not appear to have been cleaned. In previous reviews this was mentioned but was dismissed by owner stating they didn’t notify him at the beginning of the stay. So I gave them the benefit of the doubt. So SORRY that I did. Showers were wet like someone had just showered. Hair in the sinks. Candy wrapper and hair dust bunny in the floor. Obvious the floor had not been swept. I was afraid to pull the covers back and look at the sheets. I notified the owner right away. He said he’d have someone clean it and notify us when it’s done. I informed him I did not want to stay there due to the lack of cleanliness. A property should be clean when the customer arrives. He said he would get back to me in a couple hours. I did not hear back from him. He would not return my messages. Called VRBO and they tried to get him on the phone with me and he refused. He told them he would not be giving a refund. I found somewhere else to stay and am out that money. VRBO was unwilling to help resolve this issue. DO NOT RENT THIS PROPERTY!

I have been hosting for over two years and have 246 total reviews between VRBO and another site and a 4.87 total rating. Helped this guest split payments into three installments through VRBO. Helped guest change the dates for the stay multiple times. Might have been too expensive for the guest, and they found a cheaper place the day of check in. Requested photos of the cleaning issues and the guest sent after 12 minutes. The Suite looked so nice in their photos that VRBO thought those were the photos from my end. Also shared the photos from my cleaning team. Contacted VRBO right away and they agreed with my side that the Suite was clean and ready for the guest on time. Almost all of our guests are visiting Orlando for a family vacation together or a business trip and we welcome you! :)

Not Clean!

The vrbo was not clean at all. The sheets had not been changed since the last stay. There was crumbs, dirt, clump of hair and even a DIRTY SOCK left in the beds. Some of the pillowcases had oils/residue and eyelashes on them! Not okay! I contacted the owner afterwards and he was not willing to refund our money for the stay. So much for a cleaning fee actually going towards cleaning. The other reviews were 5 stars and maybe we just had a bad stay but I can tell you a place doesn’t get that dirty after one stay. They have definitely lacked on cleaning for some time. The floors and showers were also dirty, our feet were black by the end of our stay from walking around barefoot. Some of my girls (stayed here for my bachelorette party) had to clean there feet after taking a shower due to some black grease they got on their feet from the shower floor. We ran into several other minor issues but should be addressed. Almost all the door handles were loose and spinning around, including the fridge which was very wobbly. The lamp charging ports were very loose, it was hard to get a charge to stay connected and half of the outlets didn’t work. On the positive side, the location was close to Disney and the surrounding area was nice. The open layout and separate beds was a plus, there was plenty of parking and the resort pool and staff was very nice.

This Suite was personally cleaned by the owner of the cleaning company. We require detailed photos after each clean prior to the next guest checking in. We were sent no messages until after the stay was already completed even though we stated: Feel free to ask if you have any questions before or during your stay. Happy to help:). If we had been informed right away there was an issue with cleanliness, our cleaning company would come out again and make it right. This guest sent no messages during the stay but asked for a full refund immediately after checking out. We do not refund completed stays for fraud prevention and we have a mortgage, taxes, expenses & our own family to support. Most guests and hosts on VRBO are real people who would like to stay or provide a nice place at a reasonable price and we are happy to welcome them.

Overall I love the location

I didn’t give 5 stars just because when I’m set up everything for my check out I saw the pillows with blood upset my stomach because I didn’t see after next day when Me and my hubby took the pillow cases off eowwww .

Beautiful Stay

This resort was probably my favorite place to go in Orlando and when we arrived we saw the bar right next to the pool, the balcony for us to relax on while the lights dangling above our heads were on. The host was a pleasure to speak to and made sure we were okay the whole stay. Next time I come back I’m staying at Floridays with the same host again. There were beautiful restaurants and attractions nearby and all of the stores for food and groceries were nearby. 10/10
