Charming 5 Bedroom Historic brick home w/ sprawling river views, pool & hot tub!
We are experienced hosts & have decided to open our home to other families while we travel around in an RV with ours!
Enjoy the perfect combination of city (short walk to downtown shops, restaurants, parks, south river greenway) & peaceful scenery. Spend all day in the pool & night in the hot tub; all while overlooking the famous South River Rapids.
Sears model home Originally built in 1939 & maintains historic charm while boasting luxurious additions & modern amenities!
First floor: Fully updated, extra large kitchen & dining room. Seating for 16 between island stools & extendable table. There is also an 8 person outdoor dining table. Chic, cozy living room with 65" Roku TV & wood burning fireplace. Along with the Master bedroom & bath, the first floor hosts the Playroom, two sitting areas, a nursery (with twin bed & crib) & a full bath. Access to outdoor patio with dining table & outdoor lounge furniture to sit & listen to the Waynesboro "rapids" on the South river.
The Second floor: Two bedrooms with Queen mattresses. One of the rooms also has a work station with desk & printer set up.
The Basement: Eclectic & cozy couches, 65” Roku TV, quaint bedroom with Queen mattress & full bath next door. “Bunkroom” with two bunkbeds (twins) & laundry room available for your use. The Basement walks right out to our brand new hot tub, large in ground pool & fire pit area with four Adirondack chairs.
Lush landscaping & gardening gives you all the privacy you need!
Easy walking distance to:
- Main street shops & restaurants
- Waynesboro High & Fishburne Military
- Ridgeview, Rife & Constitution parks
- The Greenway & South River
- YMCA
- Kline's Dairy Bar

Hi there, we are Cait & Luke Hoge! Parents to 2 awesome little boys & fur parents to a big, doofy, Swiss mountain dog named Chunk! We have been together for 10 years & we are lucky enough to be best friends :) One of our favorite things to do together is travel & that’s taken us to some very beautiful cities & various countries around the world. It also made us fall in love with hospitality & want to be hosts ourselves!

This is our home when we aren't traveling the world and staying at other people's rental homes! It is our favorite place to be and we hope you feel the same.

A quiet and beautiful, family neighborhood (great for exploring with a stroller or with your pups). We are walking distance to downtown, the river walk & Orchard Creek Golf Course/Restaurant. Within walking distance to multiple parks: Ridgeview, Constitution & Rife (which all have river access for a kayaks/paddle boards as well as fishing). We are a short drive away from Klines Dairy Bar, Shenandoah National Park & Skyline Drive & about 30 minutes from Charlottesville, 20 to Staunton.
Pool and Hotub in fenced in backyard. Great elevated view of the South river. You can access the river from Ridgeview par, Rife park, and multiple places along the greenway.
The property behind the fence is private property so please do no trespass to access the river there.
