Relax in the spa and top off the evening with S’mores by the outdoor fireplace Day guests may be subject to a fee. Our property is ideal for intimate gatherings. We stayed in three rooms here and honestly it exceeded expectation. The property is stunning — set on a vineyard with the most beautiful flowers and a a gorgeous pool. It feels private, which made it feel like a real escape. The host was fantastic, super friendly and responsive whenever we needed anything. Would absolutely come back, also very comfy beds plenty of towels and beautiful outdoor spaces and kitchen facility. And we love the outdoor fireplace!

Absolutely beautiful! The views in the atmosphere were amazing. I was traveling by myself. I felt very safe the whole time. Everything was very well thought out and organized. The owners communicated very well. The place was clean. The furniture was beautiful. Everything was just perfect. I cannot wait to stay here again and I highly recommend, very worth the cost.

Beautiful stay on a vineyard.

Great stay on a quiet vineyard. Hosts were very helpful and responsive. Room was clean and comfortable. The vineyard is beautiful and there is plenty of space outside to enjoy the view. Very relaxing place to stay.

Needed to be in the area for work. Villa Riposo provided a wonderful place to work remotely with beautiful outdoor spaces.

Poor Responding Host

Unfortunately, the host did not respond to my request for check-in details until 11 pm the night prior to my stay. As a result, I had to make other arrangements and the host who acknowledged the late response to my inquiring for check-in details, refused to give me a credit. The ratings for Cleanliness, Accuracy, Location and who stayed at the location, were not evaluated since I was not at the location but required an input to post.

I am sorry that you did not receive the check in instructions until 9pm and that was not early enough for you to feel comfortable. I agree it was late and we have solved that issue. The reason I did not offer you a credit was because when we spoke, which was around 9:30pm, you had already booked another place. Not sure how to have credited you when you had canceled and 100% of your money was refunded. Again, we apologize for getting the instructions 17 hours before check in.

Hidden Gem

This Estate is an absolute hidden Gem! Such a lovely, spacious property!! I immensely enjoyed my stay and had a hard time leaving. The grounds are spectacular, and the landscaping is very romantic and inviting! Lovely vines and trellises among gorgeous flowering bushes and lots of rose bushes with lovely fragrances! Our room was wonderful, clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable! We utilized the BBQ area for dinner and made pizzas, and the kitchen had everything we needed for this! The El fresco open air dining and spacious sitting areas were so lovely, I just can't say enough about this property! It is a shared area with a few other rental casitas on site, but there is alot of space and room and the host was very lovely, welcoming, and a genuinely sweet woman! I am defiantly coming back to stay in the future! The pool and spa were great and was perfect to lounge at! Great space if you have a group and you can all stay in individual units/casitas and have a great time enjoying the open, spacious Tuscan styled El Fresco accommodations. Lots of little extra perks too!! Thank you very much!!

Not worth the price

Overall we had a fine time but found the accommodations below expectations given the price. The check in process was a nightmare, as we received no instructions from the host and arrived to find a locked entry gate with no doorbell or way of contacting anyone inside. The host did not respond to multiple calls, texts, and messages through the app, despite the fact that we arrived 3 hours after our allowed check in time. Even after calling VRBO support we had to wait 30 minutes to get into the property. The woman who let us in was apologetic, and another woman who presumably managed the property later came to ask how long we waited, but no effort was made to make up for this inconvenience (and we missed the sunset :/). The room was comfortable and the grounds were beautiful. The lights in our unit frequently flickered, and one sparked once when turning them on, suggesting an electrical issue. A booklet in the room described a number of accommodations that unfortunately no longer seemed to exist on the property (eg. Ice maker at the pool bar). While not a big deal by any means, it suggested a lapse in quality from what had been there before. The neighborhood was off the beaten path, not close to much. You will likely be sharing the property with the owners and other guests in nearby units (as described in the listing), and unfortunately the hot tub is too small for more than one group. We appreciated the provision of dog treats and dog-friendly bedding.

Originally from Ndola Zambia, I immigrated to the States in my teens. After having lived in Oklahoma, Georgia, Texas, New York and California; my husband John (California native) and I found our home here in Morgan Hill.
With our love of Italy so John and I built (us doing most of the work) our home to reflect our favorite place in the world.

Step into Tuscany & transport yourself into the Italian lifestyle. Villa Riposo located on the ‘Wine Trail’ offers all the amenities of a first class resort.

SUITE - The king bed is outfitted with sumptuous white linen and Egyptian cotton and looks onto the pool. Unwind on the large couch while you take in the view or watch your favorite shows/movies on the Smart TV.

KITCHEN - Please note the kitchen is small located in the tasting room with a microwave, 20” range with 4 burners and an oven, pots/pans, small fridge, toaster, dishes, bowls, silverware, glasses and blender. The tasting room is not yet open to public and a lovely place to dine

BBQ - Located next to the pool bar and outdoor dining area.

CHILDREN - Regrettably we can’t allow toddlers (ages 1 to 6) due to the safety issue with this suite located directly on the pool.

PETS - We love our pets and welcome yours. Please don’t leave them in the suite unattended. If you need to do so, we have pet sitters available. Pets must be on a leash at all times unless the other guests approve off-leash supervision. For the pet fee, we provide doggie bags for their waste, bedding so they can sleep with you, a stainless-stee water bowl and towel.

EVENTS - For small events up to 40 guests, we offer the lawn, grapevine pergola and tasting room from 10am to 5pm at an additional event fee and event insurance
Should you wish exclusivity to host an event up to 80, we offer the entire property but you would need to rent the Villa which you can find through VRBO. Also at an additional fee and event insurance. You can find us at Villa Riposo
