This Texas Family Reunion Lodge, boasting 35 beds, promises endless outdoor entertainment with playgrounds, canoes, kayaks, golf carts, UTVs, and more. Enjoy the sports fields, biking trails, and eight docks equipped with swim ladders and boat moorings, perfect for avid fishing.

Now you can add additional Lake Godstone lodging such as our Guest Home, Cabins, RV Campsite with Motor Home, and Campgrounds to accommodate larger groups up to 56 beds plus another 44 in our campgrounds. Full campus booking upgrade is also available as an simple discounted add-on when booking.

Great property!

Perfect location for a large group. We had a high school girl’s volleyball team and the girls loved it. This is the second time we have stayed here and will definitely be back!

Great Place!

Great Business Trip/Retreat Property

We had a great time! Perfect place to conduct a little business and a lot of fishing. Host's and owner were quick to answer questions or provide anything we needed to make it a successful weekend. We'll return for another!

Long weekend retreat

What an amazing piece of property and the owner is so thoughtful. This place checks all the boxes for whatever type of adventure you're seeking. We are planning to make it an annual event with friends.

Annual Family gathering

Nice Place. This was our 2nd year to return. Good lodge facility for a large family gathering. Required Checkout time on last day was a bit early.

Thank you. We do offer late checkouts when we are able to do so. New guests usually arrive at 4 pm and our laundry and disinfection process for 35 beds takes about 5 hours so 10:00 am checkout is cutting things close. Please return again soon.

Fantastic opportunity

Great place, great time, wish we stayed another few days, plenty of options to keep occupied, a remarkable property to see. Everything was as promised, plenty of room to spread out, clean and modern conveniences. Fish, shoot guns, fireworks, grill, kayak. Will definitely book again.

FOCUS Retreat Group

Jim and all the staff at Lake Godstone were incredible. Our students had a wonderful stay at the lodge and enjoyed many of the available activities and sites. Jim was very generous in offering us more space and activities that we hadn't paid for. Overall it was a wonderful visit.

Great Family & Friend Christmas Party!

Family Outing near Jacksboro TX

Owner is an excellent host as well as staff. Property has outstanding amenities. Owner has ongoing battle with roaches in the main lodge. Beyond that issue, we would seriously consider returning to this property. Great for family gatherings..

Thanks Robert. We have finally beat those little roaches back after ten weekly, between-bookings, professional, full house treatments. Our contractor says that the German Cockroach is commonly found in grocery boxes and attracted to food left on counters so we have started asking our guests to dispose of boxes/bags brought into our lodge and to put food away at nights. Plus we will continue to treat the lodge on a weekly instead of quarterly basis.

Beautiful location and lodge.

We really enjoyed the lodge, fishing and swimming. The lodge is perfectly set up to accommodate large groups. The lake is not quite be enough for wake boarding, skiing or other off the back of the boat type of sports. Some of the guest mentioned that they were a little uncomfortable with the amount of cameras located in and around the house.

We have numerous security cameras around our campus for guest protection and to monitor our wildlife population as required by the state as part of our wildlife property tax exemption. The two cameras (in the den and hallway) of the lodge are turned off when guests are staying in the lodge and are turned on again when the guests depart.

Amazing ranch, amazing host

Marluc Bella Vita is a gem! We had an amazing time at the ranch over the Easter weekend. There is so much space to roam around and so much to do. The kids enjoyed fishing, kayaking, playing sports and just exploring the place. The lodge is a lot more spacious than it seems in the photos, perfectly designed for large groups. All the structures are In excellent shape, well built, solid and comfortable and sparkly clean. The kitchen is very well stocked. Jim is very considerate, generous, quick to help, and easy to work with. He is also one of the most interesting hosts that I ever interacted with. We can see there is a lot love and care that went into building this ranch. And it still has so much potential to grow. We are already planning our next trip!

Awesome location near Rocker B - baseball teams

Our team really loved our time at the ranch - heads up to everyone though. The long gravel road into the ranch (over 4 miles of county roads) has several winding turns, isn’t properly lit at night and doesn’t have any road signs to indicate some potentially hazardous conditions. One of the parents had a nasty car wreck and his car was totaled at a small bridge location about 1/4 of the way to the ranch on the gravel road. I want to be clear that this isn’t the fault of the ranch - the county should really alert drivers to this danger. Oh - lots of wild animals on the roads as well - we almost hit two wild boars. Be Safe!!! The ranch was absolutely perfect for our weekend baseball event.

Thanks Rudi… the county has been making improvements to the road and I think that replacing the small bridge where the accident occurred is on the docket… its a most unfortunate incident and I’m glad all are okay. This will certainly be a topic of conversation with our county commissioner today…

Perfect for our family reunion

Our family has been doing a weekend family reunion annually for 4 yrs. Every year we've been to a different place trying to find that perfect one. This was it! Not only is the home and property big enough to accommodate a lot people, there are many other options of places to stay right there on the same property. One of my boys rented a small house there on the property and another one rented an RV there. This property has so much growth potential as our family continues to grow. Jim welcomed us upon arrival and showed us around the property. He was an excellent host! Lots of helpful information and quickly answered questions I had prior to arrival. The ages of our family that attended for this weekend ranged from 4months to 84 yrs! Literally everyone had something to do there. From visiting, to hiking, fishing, swimming, making smores, cooking in or outdoors... so much fun! There was only one thing I would change if I could about this place and that is for it to have a master bedroom with a king bed and attached bathroom for my elderly parents. We made it work for the weekend though, and it worked out. Thanks so much for the most memorable family weekend reunion to date Jim! I have no doubt we'll be back :)

Perfect Family Reunion Spot

We had a great experience for our family reunion at the lodge. The whole family was able to enjoy the lake from youngest to oldest. The fishing was great and we had a blast swimming, kayaking and using the peddle boat.

One of a Kind

Very unique property. we stayed two nights and that was not long enough to enjoy the different things in the property. jim is a great host. kids had a great time fishing and swimming, catching frogs and exploring. the sports court give you some ways to tire the kids out. comfortable beds. we will be back!

Engagement party

We were looking for something to hold our big family, this place had everything we needed. The kids enjoyed the water activities, the adults fished, the sunset was breathtaking. Jim was very attentive to our needs. We will come back.

Absolutely beautiful

So peaceful. The house was well designed to provide adequate space for those that wanted it, and gathering places for social butterflies. We had a blast! Even those that don’t like the outdoors stated they had fun.

The lodge on Lake Godstone is set on 188 acres of beautiful forested land near Graford, Texas. It provides a serene escape with abundant wildlife and access to a stocked lake with multiple beaches and docks. The lodge accommodates large groups comfortably with 35 beds (six queen and 29 twin).

Amenities:
Guests can enjoy various amenities including a lit basketball court, sand volleyball court, soccer/baseball practice field, and an observatory with a telescope.
