This charming, A-frame home is a short walk from Bass Lake, making it the perfect spot for a family vacation or a group getaway.

Enjoy three stories of interior living space and two large decks with great views. The main level features a large, open room with a fireplace, a dining area that seats eight, and the main bedroom. The lower level has a separate entrance for added convenience and a daybed with a trundle. Additional amenities include free WiFi, central heat and air conditioning, and a private washer/dryer.

Beautiful Bass Lake is a wonderful spot for boating, skiing, fishing, hiking, and bicycling. You'll be close to the Pines Village at the lake, with its restaurants, general market, bars, shops, and full-service marina with rental boats, jet skis, and kayaks. The town of Oakhurst is about seven miles away, offering shops, restaurants, bars, a cinema, and a live stage theater of its own. The Chukchansi Casino in Coarsegold is 12 miles away and the southern entrance of Yosemite National Park is only 15 miles away.

Pets are not allowed

Bass Lake is less than 15 miles from the southern entrance of Yosemite National Park. Bass Lake reaches its peak water levels in the summer months and is lowered by 50 percent during the fall and winter months annually. Because of this, summer water levels vary each year depending on the winter season rain and snowfall.

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 3 vehicles.



Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Quaint Bass Lake Cabin

Great location so easily walkable to Pines Village with a nice location at the crest of the hill. There is a peekaboo lake view and the outdoor area is so nice all times of day. The living space is great for groups.

Loved this place

There is so much space. And pleanty of games to keep everyone occupied. Tons of movies as well. The resort was walking distance and the activitiy center snd play ground were near by. The rooms were nice and the two balconies had beautiful views

Convenient location. Two balconies with gorgeous wooded views. Cabin has an excellent layout- rustic and charming, amazing dvd Library, games and ping pong table. No dishwasher, but does have all other comforts.

The views were great. Kitchen was small, bathroom on middle floor was small and bathroom on bottom floor was not easily accessible. Beds on top floor were small. The stairs to get to bottom floor were an issue.Cabin stayed comfortably warm and was stocked with plenty of comforts.

We loved the great specious living area and balconies. The bedrooms were great! one of them had its own entrance! We had all the cooking supplies to enjoy our breakfast, lunch and dinner. We had an amazing birthday celebration!

Relaxing weekend.

We usually stay at the pines, but since they are sold out we had to look for a different option. We found this house and because we wanted 2 chalets it was the just a little more for the house. It was better in the house and more relaxing area. Had everything we needed and more.

Perfect for our family

The house was perfectly clean. It had everything we needed. My kids especially loved the huge collection of DVDs and games. The location was perfect and the tri level house was fun for our family. We spent two days driving into Yosemite. It was well worth the extra 30 minutes out of the park to stay somewhere larger and about half the price. I’d definitely recommend this cabin.

Very cozy, near lake

Very comfortable, plenty of space. Loved the A-frame architecture and the view, as well as the porches and large windows with a beautiful view (especially when the sun was shining in). Also enjoyed using the fireplace inside. Nice little neighborhood right near the lake (you could even see parts of the lake from the upper porch), but the house still felt secluded with all the trees surrounding it, which is exactly what we wanted. Overall, very cozy stay.

The view from the dinning room is good, however one of the top floor bed was wet due to leaking roof when raining. The rooms are too dark, lots of lamps are broken.

We had a nice stay here! We had an issue with a toilet handled which was fixed that day! There was a coffee pot which only made two cups when in the picture it shows a larger one that makes 10 cups. With 6 adults staying there, that was a bit annoying. They also had Kuerig but we didn't know about that. It was warm in Bass Lake so we had the a/c on and the downstairs was freezing and the middle level was fine. It's a bit dated but the couch was super comfy!! The location is great for walking to The Pines. Oh! There is a tree stump that is in the parking area that was an issue with a car parking and a tripping source. They have a ton of DVD's including The Great Outdoors which was filmed around there and fun to watch.

The house was a perfect fit for our family trip to Yosemite. It was a quiet neighborhood with perfect views for star gazing from the balcony. Plenty of space for us. The check-in and check-out process was easy and simple. We absolutely loved our stay.

Our family had a great time at this stay! We loved the outdoor area and there are plenty of games and activities for the family. There is also a massive DVD collection here, which was quite nostalgic for us. The location is also unbeatable, it is literally directly next to the cabins of the pines resort. The sleeping arrangements was not perfect, as we had an elderly family member that couldn’t use stairs, but it worked out okay. Our family loved hanging outside on the top floor patio. The bottom patio could use a little better cleaning though, especially the sofa outside. All in all we had a great stay and would recommend this for a family get-together. We also saw a bear, which made this experience completely unforgettable!

You will not regret!

Absolutely wonderful place! The view from the balcony is breathtaking! The vibe of the whole place is so relaxing! The lake is super close as well as the cafes and bars w/ live music. Definitely recommend!
