Nature lovers can immediately set off to explore the landscapes of Touraine thanks to the marked hiking trails located less than 800 meters from the gîte. A wonderful way to take the time to explore the surroundings on foot or simply enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside.

For sightseeing, the location is ideal: Amboise is a 30-minute drive away, while Tours is 40 minutes away. The grand Loire Valley châteaux, such as Chenonceau and Villandry, are about 45 minutes away.

The proximity of the Loir-et-Cher department also opens the door to numerous excursions. Just 15 minutes away, discover Lavardin, listed among the Most Beautiful Villages of France, and then, 20 minutes away, explore Trôo and its fascinating troglodytic valley, or even the birthplace of Ronsard. Garden enthusiasts shouldn't miss the magnificent garden of Plessis Sasnières, a designated Remarkable Garden, located just 20 minutes away.
