We enjoyed our July 4th weekend stay in this nice, spacious second (top) floor condo in a quiet location at Kingsmill Resort. Living area is very nice with very comfortable furniture and we liked the firm, comfortable king size bed. These condos date back to the 1980s and that brings some limitations, like a very small bathroom. While the condo has been updated over the years, bathrooms get a lot of use and this one is a bit tired. While functional, it is definitely in the “OK” category and could really use a refresh. The kitchen is nice but could use some additional cookware. There were just barely adequate number of dishes and silverware, but really no cookware if you wanted to use the stove and oven for actually preparing a meal. (Understandably, most travelers are dining out and not cooking full meals, and the minimal cookware seems to be discouraging any real kitchen use.) WiFi access provided inside the condo upon arrival was not accurate and we had to contact the host, who provided instructions for finding WiFi info. on bottom of modem behind the television. Not ideal, but we did appreciate that the host was quick to respond on this when contacted, and also during the reservation process to our questions. Overall, our stay was good and while some improvements could be made, we would stay here again as the value seems fair.
