Thank you, Janice. We are glad you found the cottage exceptionally clean, charming and welcoming and appreciated our special touches. For future guests, the listing specifically states that Thumpertown Beach is less than a 4 minute walk away. The cottage is not and never was advertised as directly beachfront. Your description of our interaction was particularly surprising. You messaged that you could not locate the mini split remotes and “didn’t really know how to proceed.” I immediately replied that I would come show you and would “be there in just a moment.” I then stopped what I was doing and came directly over to help. Had you told me you had a psychotherapy appointment or that it was an inconvenient time, I obviously would not have come. What your review leaves out is the unnecessarily confrontational tone I encountered once I arrived. I was repeatedly interrupted and spoken to condescendingly while simply trying to help. You also insisted that I had said there were remotes “in every room.” I did not. I said there is a remote in each room that controls the heat for that room. Our digital and physical guides also explain how to operate the system. I am always happy to personally assist a guest who needs help. Being criticized for responding immediately to your request for assistance is certainly a first. Bless your heart
