Relax in a cozy and private lake front cabin with breathtaking views!

Welcome to our home away from home. Enjoy the breathtaking views of beautiful Norway Lake from the large patio while sipping your coffee or cold drink of choice. Or, enjoy the view from the deck while grilling dinner. Sit on the dock and relax or throw in a line that is bout to catch a pan fish. Bring your boat as launching is easy with a public launch just down the dead-end road, or, feel free to use 2 kayaks and paddle boat located by the shoreline. Enjoy an evening bonfire feet from shore and the sounds of fish jumping from the water.

Our cabin is located on a dead end paved road with very minimal traffic aside from a few friendly neighbors that may wave at you as you drive by. Enjoy the minimum maintenance road located directly across from the cabin that offers endless ATV/UTV/Snowmobile possibilities straight from our driveway. Chickamaw Beach is located midway between Brainerd and Walker, an up-north lakes area heaven that offers tons of weekend and weekly activities.

As your evening comes to an end, feel assured that you will be comfortable with the cabin’s accommodations. Cuddle up to the stone gas fireplace while you cook your dinner in the fully stocked kitchen. The cabin has internet, heat and even AC for the nights you need more than the wonderful lake breeze. There are two bedrooms on the main level and a full bathroom. One of the bedrooms offers a twin over full log bed and the other another full bed. The finished lower level offers a 3/4 nicely updated bath and additional sleeping space with a queen bed and a full sized futon in an open concept area.

Town is only a couple of miles away, and the White Fish Chain and the Brainerd lakes area and shopping are less than a 30 minute drive.

* For your protection and ours, we do have a Ring doorbell camera installed at the front entry. It’s use is strictly for security reasons.

My mom and my kids and I took a last minute trip before school started and this was the perfect place! It was great to just get away, but not have to travel a far distance! My kids loved being on the lake and using the kayaks and paddle boats that were offered I too, was able to get out and use them with them. Lots of fishing for the kids on and off shore. We enjoyed everything about this cabin Would highly recommend this place to anyone just looking to get out and enjoy some nice family time!

The property is very cozy and well designed. Loved the cabin feel. The outdoor spaces were great and enabled all 6 of us to spend a lot of time together on a beautiful weekend.

Great!

Wonderful cabin and beautiful lake. The lake was very quiet and the cabin had everything we needed for a great stay. We took a quick trip into Pine river and enjoyed the nice beach, dam area and cute downtown. Looking forward to staying again next year!

Perfect Lake Cabin

Perfect location, tons of privacy, super clean and thoughtfully decorated. Everything you could want from a Minnesota lake cabin. And the hosts were super responsive and accommodating. Can’t wait to come back next year!

Cozy & Relaxing

We had a great stay! The lake was not very busy, even on Labor Day weekend. The beds were comfortable and we loved the fire pit and patio. My kids liked fishing off the dock for fun and had over 100 catches & releases. The lake was super weedy, so we didn’t swim from the house, but drove just a few minutes to Pine River and enjoyed the nice beach, park and dam area there. It was fun to have use of the kayaks and paddle boat.

Great Stay

Our family stayed over the 4th of July weekend and had a great time at this cabin. Beautiful lake view with great deck and patio sitting areas. Living room and kitchen are cozy but still very nice. Wifi was a little spotty on rainy day and late evening but not a big issue. Would definitely love to come back and stay here again!

The perfect getaway

We had an absolutely incredible experience here. We came over MEA break. My husband and son enjoyed fishing numerous lakes. Meanwhile, my daughter, my mom, and I stayed cozy while doing crafts and watching movies-Netflix provided. It was SO RELAXING. The cabin was so cozy and perfectly stocked with daily necessities, blankets, pillows ,towels, seasonings, kitchen needs, etc. The view was so pretty at sunrise and sunset. The hosts were extremely responsive and accommodating. The area was quiet and peaceful There’s a great trail across the street that we enjoyed beautiful Autumn walks on. Us girls also LOVED shopping in downtown Nisswa.

Beautiful Lake View

House was just as described. We loved having 2 patio areas with comfortable seating at both. The only negative was the dock had been pulled and we were not told prior and my son had planned to fish off the dock.

Wonderful, relaxing and Cozy

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin is spacious, cozy, and welcoming. We especially enjoyed evening fires on the lower level patio. We even caught northern and bass off the dock.

Wonderful cabin

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay. We really enjoyed kayaking as well as the resident wildlife that included an eagle that hung out multiple times in a tree right next to the cabin!

Great family getaway

Beautiful cabin! We stayed a week and had a wonderful time with our children. The paddle boat and kayaks were loved by all. What a great perk to share! The kitchen had all the needed amenities to cook for our family & we had a great time exploring in near by pequot lakes and Nisswa. The cabin is just as pictured. Great yard & great view!

Week on the lake

We had a great time staying at Norway lake. The kids fished and swam and we were able to tube on the lake. Close proximity to town for anything needed and close to many attractions that we went to on our rain day.

Great Stay nice place

The cabin house was great, clean, nice, updated. Great view of the lake. Lake was weedy, shallow, but the folks did tell us it was shallow after we booked and I asked about the lake. All in all I’d stay at this location again!

Privacy! And the Best Hosts!

Privacy and cleanliness are always my top priorities and this house gets all the stars for that! This house made me and my family very happy. Amazing property. Perfect getaway

I had a great stay and this was the perfect getaway. The property was beautiful, the listing accurate, and the host was an excellent communicator and very accommodating. I will very much plan to visit and stay again in the future and highly recommend anyone who's looking for a quite getaway "up north," to consider this listing.

Very charming, peaceful, cozy place!

Check in was a breeze. We received a code to open the door. The place is exactly how the photos show it. We had everything we needed. Comfortable bed, gas burning fireplace on both levels. All the amenities are here. We made several fires in the fire pit lakeside and the wood was provided. Very private place, we never heard or saw anyone other then a neighbor out on a walk down the lane. We saw lots of wild turkey, geese, eagles etc. Very easy to get around town and lots of lakes to explore nearby. We would recommend this place highly
