15 mile drive to the Hennepin Hopper- a 3,000 acre wetland refuge. Open 365 and a must a see for photographers and nature lovers!

30 mile drive to Matthiessen State Park and Starved Rock State Park. There you can hike all day, spend the evening listening to live music, and enjoying a delicious meal. You will thoroughly enjoy the picturesque waterfalls and picnic shelters. Both State Parks are open ~300 days of the year.
