Wonderfully decorated and extremely well equipped home. This charming private home is located in the famed “M Streets” area of Dallas, a quiet, safe, family-oriented neighborhood just five minutes from the beautiful SMU campus or the fabulous nightlife of Lower Greenville.

The Home

Downstairs features two bedrooms with new queen-sized beds and high-quality mattresses, linens, and pillows. One of the two bedrooms has an en suite bathroom; the other has a full bathroom with a shower that also doubles as a powder room for guests. Bathrooms are fully stocked with all the amenities you’ll need for a wonderful stay. A spacious entryway opens up to the formal dining room that seats eight people comfortably. An adjacent reading area for two leads to the light-filled kitchen with granite countertops, a breakfast seating area, and all the equipment and utensils anyone would want to have for a wonderful evening dining at home. The living room is equipped with smart TV (AppleTV, Netflix, Hulu, Paramount+, Disney+), and a Sonos sound system. The house has Wi-Fi throughout.

Upstairs features include the master bedroom, with a walk-in closet, and a spacious en suite bathroom that has both shower and bathtub. An adjoining room has a generous-sized desk that makes it ideal as a work space or another bedroom already equipped with two bunkbeds that would share the master bathroom. All rooms have shades and curtains to adjust the volume of light and ensure privacy. There is also a full laundry room with a washer/dryer and stocked with all necessary supplies.

This enchanting, cozy home has a front patio with a seated swing and new outdoor furniture and a backyard space that features a deck area with a gas-fired outdoor grill.

The area, dominated by charming Tudor homes, is a wonderful blend of Old World architecture and state of the art comfort. Easy freeway access quickly connects visitors to Uptown and Downtown Dallas, Love Field and D/FW International Airport, and all of Dallas’ four major sports franchise venues. Visit the nationally recognized Highland Park Shopping Center; take a stroll down the Katy Trail or along Turtle Creek; or stop in at any of the hundreds of the nearby coffee shops and restaurants. This home is the perfect choice for a weekend getaway, a hub for scouting the campus, or a long-term work assignment. Work from home in the upstairs study or have cocktails and appetizers before heading out to one of the area’s exceptional restaurants.

We are close to everything! No need to rent a car as an Uber can get you almost anywhere in just a few minutes.

Please note: The detached garage is reserved as the homeowner’s private office and is not part of the booking. On rare occasions, the owner may stop by to use the office. Rest assured, your privacy in the home is always fully respected. If you happen to see him coming or going and feel like saying a cheerful “hello,” he’s always happy to chat! In fact, many guests have found these brief encounters to be an unexpected and delightful highlight of their stay.
1. Yard maintenance may come during your stay without further notification.

2. Check-out instructions: Place towels in the laundry area. Adjust the thermostat AC to 75 and heat 65. Take all trash out, start the dishwasher, turn off lights, lock all the doors.

3. NO SMOKING inside or outside. If the home smells like smoke at checkout, there is an additional flat $500 cleaning fee.

4. We must be mindful of the neighbors when outside. OUTDOOR QUITE TIME starts at 10 pm Sunday to Thursday and midnight Friday and Saturday. General respect for our neighbors is appreciated, even during the day.

5. Be honest with your host. You must be 30 years old to book. Only the guests on the reservation are allowed on the property unless prior arrangements are made with the host. Non-authorized guests or visitors are subject to a charge of $100 per day, and you may be asked to leave the property for rule violations

6. Parking is restricted to the property`s garage and driveways. Should you have to park on the street, please be mindful of the neighbors.

7. Checkout is mandatory at 11:00 am. $50 for every 30 minutes after 11:00 am will be charged unless prior arrangements have been made with the host. We accommodate our arriving guests with a noon baggage drop so we can not do both late checkout and accommodate our arriving guests. Your cooperation is appreciated.

8. If early check-in is possible it is complementary starting at 2:00 pm and $50 per hour before that time.
