I’m originally from Cuba and have called South Florida home for the past 20 years. I work in the healthcare field, but over the years I’ve worn many different hats, which has given me a deep appreciation for connecting with people from all walks of life. One of the greatest blessings in my life has been working alongside the love of my life in recent years—it has truly strengthened our relationship.

In my free time, I enjoy the outdoors—going to the beach, visiting natural springs, gardening, barbecuing, and spending time with family. I also love music, traveling, and slowing down to enjoy a peaceful sunset with a drink in hand.

I enjoy being a host because it allows me to share a space where others can relax, disconnect, and enjoy nature. Whether it’s sitting by the lake, gathering around the fire pit, or simply taking in the quiet surroundings, I hope guests are able to create special and memorable moments during their stay.

I chose this neighborhood because I had worked in the Ocala area many years ago, and it had always stayed on my mind. When the opportunity came up to buy this property, I didn’t think twice. I came to see the house, stood in the kitchen, looked out at the lake in the backyard, and instantly knew it was meant to be.

The neighborhood itself is quiet, peaceful, and surrounded by nature, which makes it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The neighbors are friendly, and there’s a genuine sense of calm and privacy that’s hard to find.

What I love most is how it offers the best of both worlds—you feel tucked away from the noise and busyness, yet still close enough to enjoy everything the area has to offer. It’s the kind of place where you can truly slow down and enjoy your surroundings.

This cozy two-story log cabin is a peaceful nature retreat, featuring warm wood interiors and a fireplace perfect for unwinding. With three bedrooms and two bathrooms, it’s a comfortable space to relax and recharge.

The real highlight is the lake right in the backyard—something I knew was special the moment I saw it. Enjoy the dock, take out the canoe, kayaks, or paddleboat, go fishing, or simply soak in the view.

Outside, you’ll find a large backyard with a fire pit, warm string lights, and a screened-in porch to enjoy the outdoors comfortably. With extras like a barbecue, cornhole, and river float tubes, it’s the perfect place to slow down and make memories.
