I'm sorry to hear about the water heater. I wish the issue had been mentioned while you were here. We have onsite maintenance personnel and generally respond to maintenance issues within the same day, unless we are dealing with some other emergency.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We appreciate all comments, both positive and negative, as this is a very important tool in keeping our property nice. Our staff does take the inventory after every rental, but we are not perfect, which is why we ask our guests to check the inventory and report anything they may notice, just in case we missed something. Most of our guests don't mind taking the inventory, because this keeps everyone accountable and ensures that the kitchen will be fully equipped for all of our guests. We have heard numerous reports from our guests of past places they have stayed in which were not equipped well enough to do any cooking. Our repeat customers appreciate how well equipped our properties are. The college students are here on a special Christian Leadership training program. They are very well behaved and have strict rules that they have to adhere to - the program does not allow any drinking, smoking or drugs. In fact, we generally receive positive comments about them. They have been coming here every summer since 2013. All of these students are supervised and mentored, we would not allow them to come otherwise. If you saw any college students drinking, it would have been the children of other guests. This is a family friendly property, which means parents do bring their children (both little and adult children). I'm curious to know what it is exactly that you saw that makes you think you can't bring your children here, as most of our repeat customers come here because of the fact that it is very family safe. On Saturday night, we had a crawfish boil for the group on the adult deck and by 10 pm, it was all cleaned up and quiet. I was personally there and can attest that there was no alcohol consumption. Quite the opposite, I love this group because they are showing young people that they can have fun without drugs and alcohol.

Yes we do promote our property as a place for peace and quiet, which most people appreciate. During the summer, we have many guests that comprise of families with kids and most of our guests are very understanding of each other that kids will be kids. However, we also have long-term tenants that need to get up early in the morning to go to work. Our guests and tenants are pretty good about not complaining unless it's really bad. The memo that you received specifically indicated "noise after10:00 pm and children running in the middle of the night." The complaints we received came from occupants of units beside you, under you and above you. When we received the first complaint, we decided to wait since it was after your first night and we know kids get excited when they first arrive, hoping that things would settle down. But, when we received multiple complaints from both tenants and vacationers, we could not ignore it. Our long-term tenants understand that we have vacationers and the other guests, having their own children, are generally very tolerant and patient and not complain about every little thing. They did not appreciate being awakened night after night. We don't want to discourage families with kids from coming to our property, as this a great place that is safe for kids. We love seeing families having fun during the day. We just ask that noise be kept to a minimum after 10:00 pm. Running in the condos is particularly disturbing because these condos have wooden floors, not concrete.
