Larry and his wife were absolutely amazing! My elderly dad was displaced from his home in Weeki Wachee due to electrical damage and I reside out of state. They went out of their way to personally greet him for me in my absence and we always willing to help and answer any questions. Their hospitality was superb! Would highly recommend. Property is beautiful and serene.

Dolphin paradise!

It is a wonderful place to stay and play as a family. The beach is private, so there were no worries with kids taking a walk on the beach by themselves. The house was clean and had tons of extras. They had everything down to coffee filters, cooking oil, fishing poles with tackle, beach toys, snacks and more! We were lucky and saw dolphins every day, along with lots of different sea life. Would highly recommend!

Great kayak trip

Gulf side island house had everything we needed. Was clean, comfortable, and in a gorgeous location that was close to several amazing kayaking rivers and springs. We will definitely book this gem again to investigate some more kayaking spots.

Incredible vacation spot

Larry and Cristina were exceptional hosts. Our family had a great time staying at this property. The grandchildren did not want to leave and neither did we. Once Larry and Cristina heard we were bringing our grandchildren, they bought sand toys for the kids and had them sitting on the kitchen table. They went the extra mile to make us feel welcomed. If you like to get away from the hustle and bustle of resort areas, this spot is for you. It is very quiet and pretty much secluded. We had the beach area to ourselves and only saw about five other people there during our three weeks stay. There are a handful of local restaurants in the area that are come as you are and extremely friendly. We met so many locals and had a great time! We are planning to come back sometime in the future. Tropical Oasis

"Seaclusion" is wonderful retreat. Wonderful view of ocean, tides and gorgeous sunsets! Super close and easy access to beach. Home is exactly as described and pictured. Very clean, well furnished, and comfortable beds. Home owner is so kind and really wants to make your stay memorable.

Best spot on Pine Island

House is perfect for 6 people. Big yard for kids. Beach is about 100 yds from the front door. View of the gulf from the upstairs wrap around porch is great. House is equipped with just about anything you could possibly need. Larry and Christina are perfect hosts.

Restful Vacation Spot

We were very pleased with our vacation at this location. The house was clean, neat, and as advertised. The property owner was very nice and helpful. If a person is looking for quiet, peaceful, secluded house with unbelievable sunsets, this is the location for them. It was everything we hoped for in a beach house rental. Our family hopes to stay at this house again in the future.

Unwind and Relax

My wife found this gem going through the many listings. We wanted to get away from the crowds and this house certainly met that criteria. The house was perfect for us. It was very clean, had everything in the kitchen we needed to prepare meals, and was very comfortable. Our favorite part was the deck which faced the gulf and had a section under roof that allowed you to escape the sun, wind, and rain and still be outside. There was a great variety of birds including a pair of Sandhill Cranes that visited the yard daily, humming birds, and many shore birds. The beach was very close at the end of the road. The water was very calm and shallow allowing you to wade out pretty far to explore. Nearby, we ate several meals outside at the Bayport Inn which had good food. We also explored and hiked at several parks. At the Bayport park we watched a manatee swim around from the park pier. We explored the Linda Pedersen Park and observation tower. We hiked in the Weekiwachee Preserve and the Fickett Hammock Preserve. Larry was a wonderful host. We didn't have any issues while we were there but he was always available if we needed anything. I would highly recommend this property if you want to get off the beaten path but still be close to things to do.

Great vacation home

This vacation home was great! Short walk to the gulf, quiet neighborhood, on dead end road, and great communication with the owner. Not a far drive from anywhere we wanted to go. Great restaurant 2 miles from the house - Bayport Inn. Strongly recommend this for a vacation.

Beautiful property

Wonderful setting for family get together. Everything was as listed. House was clean and well put together. We loved the nearly private beach area, and relaxing on the huge deck area with a glass of wine watching the sunsets every night. Will definitely stay again!!!

Quiet, relaxing stay

We enjoyed the ease of check-in especially since we arrived late in the night. The house is nice with special touches from the owners. The master bedroom bed is very uncomfortable. Other beds were nice. The 2nd bathroom is outside off the deck. Our teenagers didn’t mind going outside to get ready. The private beach was covered in seaweed so we drove down to the public access further down the street. The one day we did try to clear off the seaweed, we were told by neighbors it was also their boat launch. We had to wait on them before we could setup and relax. Certainly not the owners fault just be aware. Overall it was enjoyable stay. Quick refund on security deposit once we checked out.

Clean, cute house with perfect view

We enjoyed our stay at the property- everything was very clean and there were a lot of nice “extras” such as a high chair and booster seat for the kids. There were ample linens, kitchenware, and even sand toys and coolers (basically everything for the beach besides shade). We did have a minor issue with the water heater, but Larry was super responsive and quick to resolve our issue. (It is in functioning, it was something minor and silly). The property is just a short drive from the grocery store and restaurants- it was no trouble to do any of these things. Unfortunately, while we were here we did not get to enjoy the private beach because it is currently completely covered in a thick bed of seaweed. This was a bummer because it did look like it would be beautiful. Fortunately, we were able to drive to the park beach just at the end of the street ($5 entry) and have a good time! (keep in mind this is a true private beach that isn’t cleaned/maintained if there is a seaweed issue). I would definitely recommend bringing a good insect repellent- it is very nice out on the deck with lots of seating options, a table for cards/dining, a grill etc,, but mosquitos are quite bad. Overall, we had a good experience and 5/5 stars because it is as described and the hosts are hospitable and responsive! Thank you, Larry, for a good stay!

Lovely home

The house was very clean, well stocked with things you may need just like you have at home. The owners left a note with information and snacks when you first arrive. Water is very calm no strong riptide. The state park is beautiful but arrive early. There is a fishing dock on the island…beautiful sunsets and we got to see several manatees.

Great Vacation

My family and I stayed 8 days at this beach side home and loved it. The house has everything you need to have a relaxing vacation. The kitchen is full of convenient items and many extras. The immediate area has great restaurants and a great county park if you want to try a different beach. We will be back.

Florida Visit

We chose the property for it's location (near Brooksville where our son lives) and the privacy of being located on a small island. The property is very nice and in a great location away from high traffic tourist areas. Larry (the host) was top notch. He contacted us to make sure we had no problems getting in and answer any questions we had, and left a basket of snacks and fresh flowers for our visit.

Perfect stay!

Wow! In one word, that's the way to describe our experience at "Seaclusion". Our family is ready to go back! Larry was exceptionally easy to work and communicate with. The unit was exactly as described, and we did, in fact, find the cheese grater! The kitchen had everything we needed, and plenty more. Anything else we realized we might want was available as well. There was plenty of room in the house for everyone to spread out, and not feel like they were on top of each other. The deck with connected covered porch was a favorite spot to hang out, apart from the beach. And speaking of the beach, the proximity to the private beach was amazing. If you forgot something at the house, it literally only took 30 seconds to retrieve it, then you were back at the water! We are counting our days until we can return to Pine Island! Thanks Larry and Cristina!

Loved it

Great spring getaway. Larry was extremely easy to communicate with during our entire experience. Location is great and beautiful sunsets from the island. Beach at the end of the island is perfect. Not too crowded and ideal for families with small children. Everything we needed for our stay was there for us. Highly recommend.

Wonderful time

This house was great. Perfect for our family of five. A one minute walk to the beach on a fairly quiet island is pretty awesome. Larry was exceptionally helpful at all times and this house was the best equipped house of the dozen or so vrbos I’ve been in. We would love to come back.

This property has been in our family since 1974. The house was built in 1985 and has had tender loving care ever since. We added the huge 800sf sun deck a few years ago. And an additional 800sf deck at ground level. Yes, 1600sf of activity deck to enjoy. What a fun place to relax and enjoy the view of the Gulf of Mexico. We also have a full-size building lot directly next to the house; that is grassed and mowed. So, your kids have plenty of room to burn up that energy before bedtime. Watch them play from the deck. We just gave it a fresh new coat of 'Beachy Sunset Coral" house paint and Pure White railing paint for that: "Decompress. Relax. Enjoy. Ahhh!" feeling you deserve. We love it. Hope you will too.

We are pleasantly close to everything you could possibly need but remains private and off the beaten path. We call it "Seaclusion." However, some people refer to it as "The Mermaid House." This is our family's private beach home and has always been maintained and treated with the utmost care and attention to detail. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
