16 of us came over the 4th of July. The property was beautiful, well maintained and perfect for what we were doing. Well stocked (even for a huge group like ours!) Communication with the host was great. Small town Thayne Parade was so fun. We want to come again!

Great locations with beautiful views! We really enjoyed the home and the kitchen and dining areas was the best part. The extra sleeping spaces made it easy for our family to rest and relax.

Beautiful location and beautiful home. Perfect for a family getaway. Very clean and all the amenities you need while staying there. We loved sitting on the back deck in the morning and evenings. Highly recommended.

What a wonderful place to spend a weekend with family! We went golfing, took the drift boat down the Salt river and went to Jackson Hole for breakfast one morning. The comfy furnishing, nice beds and fireplaces were all great. The views at the house are stunning as well.Highly recommended!

Nice view and was about 2 hours from Yellowstone south entrance. Groceries are conveniently located and had a great time!

Great house in a great location

This was a great house for our large group. We were able to fish in star valley and float the snake river and everything was really close and convenient. The house was a perfect home base for us to prepare meals and sleep our large group.

We felt well-taken care of in every way with our family of 10. It made our vacation very enjoyable! There was enough space for everyone. The hosts did a great job of responding promptly to our questions. We would definitely recommend this property!

Perfect meeting spot for our family. We had a large group and a variety of ages to accommodate. Everyone fit nicely and we were able to spread out and be comfortable. Evenings on the porch were the best! We enjoyed having a nice, quiet place to land that was close to many adventures in the area.

Star Valley Stay

One of the best places our group(4 couples) have ever stayed. Views of Star Valley are exceptional even in winter. Listing was accurate and hosts communicated very well. A hearty 5 stars all the way around.

Beautiful, green pastures, blue blue skies, close to activities in the area. 4th of July was great!

House is great for multiple families. Can't wait to see the new game room. The boys loved it.

Exactly what we were hoping for

All of us really loved this home, the neighborhood, and the peaceful experience we shared. Many positive comments about the layout of the bedrooms, kitchen and entertainment room relative to each other. Will visit again, and would recommend.

Wonderful stay

The cabin was absolutely gorgeous! It had everything you needed and it was super clean. They went above and beyond to make sure the cabin was perfectly furnished and beautifully decorated. I have been using VRBO for a long time and this was the best stay hands down! Bonus was the deer that would greet us every morning and evening off the back porch with stunning views. Thank you so much for sharing your home.

Amazing house!

This property is amazing, even better than advertised. The house is very spacious, with plenty of room for everyone to have their own area (we traveled with 4 adults, 3 children). We loved the big dining table for everyone, spending evenings out on the back deck, and playing cards in the family room late at night. I can’t say enough good things... but this place is better than advertised. We will definitely be back in the future.

As advertised!

First, the owners made it very simple to communicate with them. Inevitably, we always have a question or two when we rent on VRBO, and Mike was always available via text or phone. Also, the house was exactly advertised: new, very nicely decorated, clean, and with very easy and clear directions for check in/out. Finally, the location is exactly what you hope for in Star Valley: an amazing view for both sunrise and sunset, wide-open spaces around the house, and with a lot of activities immediately nearby. Thanks to Mike for making this such a great trip for us while we visited friends in the area. Renting again soon.

This is a beautiful home and a wonderful property. Beautiful views in the morning and at night an amazing display of stars. The house is adorable and roomy. We booked this property because we could tell the owners took care in all aspects of the interior. We did have a few problems with things like lights not working, a dresser and a sofa that was broken but the owners answered and handled these issues. Also - even though the landscaping looks like grass - it isn’t. Make sure the kids wear shoes and the dogs stay off as there are many stickers. But we so appreciate the owners allowing pets. Our Lab had a great time watching the deers walk through the property.

party weekend

the oven went out twice on us which was inconvenient when cooking for dinner, ran out of paper towels and there were no back ups, wish there had been dish towels to dry dishes that we hand washed, the overall house was gorgeous and very comfortable. I accidently took home some measuring cups which I will mail back tomorrow - sorry

Thank you for returning the measuring cups! We provide a starter supply of items so our guests will not have to go to the grocery store immediately upon arrival and the extra dish towels are kept in a drawer to the left of the sink. I know there are many drawers there so maybe they were just missed. ;-) Glad you enjoyed your stay in beautiful Star Valley!

The house did not have the bedroom\beds as shown in the pictures on VRBO. The loft only had a queen bed, not two queen beds as shown. There was a room with multiple bunk beds, which had larger beds (full size) on the bottom but our group all needed their own queen bed, not a bunk bed. We booked the property on the 2 queens in the loft with the additional queen and king bed. We also did not know about the no lights on the outside of home after dusk. This was not clear in the listing prior to booking and we were beyond the refund point when a note was sent to us, So no light switches to the outside of the home worked, nor the light switch inside 4 seasons room, off the dining area. After I asked about it - the owner remotely enabled the outside lights on the front of the home for 2 additional hours after dusk. The lawn was weedy and also not as pictured. Thistles were very prevalent in the front of home. and the grass was overgrown in the back as well. The AC worked so-so. The large windows with southern exposure let in a lot of heat and the brightness in the afternoon made it difficult to enjoy. You need your sunglasses inside. There are no window treatments on the south side of the home or in the kitchen. Some woman with 3 daughters walked down the long driveway, and took the garbage can to the curb. There is also a ring camera on the front door and multiple networks running WIFI and an Alexa in an upstairs room sorta tucked away. All in all, we would not stay here again.
