We came to Philly for the World Cup and this property was great for a long stay. Akia was extremely communicative, accessible, and accommodating. The proximity to public transportation (trolley and bus) is fantastic. The neighborhood has some great food, cafes, and in a good location to reach other attractions. It was spacious enough for two people without feeling crowded. We also felt safe and secure, the auto deadbolt locks (entrance and unit doors) were great and there was no worries about having to deal with keys. The kitchen was fully equipped from pots, pans, utensils, to a full spice rack. I am very familiar with Philly so this property fit all the needs and demands. It is a great fit for experienced travelers!

Great Place for a Short Stay

The place was as described and neat and tidy. There were a few things that were missing such as a complete set of linens for the pullout bed, but overall it was a great stay!

I enjoyed my stay on Akia's property--she went above and beyond to respond immediately to my issues and questions. When the batteries were dead in the outside lock keypad, she let us in remotely, and someone came to fix it within 5 minutes. Everything smelled fresh and clean, and I felt safe and comfortable. I recommend this property and this host, and I will be booking this property again.

clean and easy stay

The apartment was nice and clean, looks exactly like the pictures in the listing. The pullout couch was surprisingly comfortable. The venue downstairs could be loud during events but the host kept us updated. The host responded quickly and was very helpful whenever we had questions. Great stay overall!

Everything about this apartment and host was great. The apartment had everything needed. It was clean, quiet, stocked well, comfortable bed and seating, and secure inside with 2 independent deadbolts. Communication of host was quick and helpful with anything we needed. The only downfall, and nothing against the host, the area of town did leave us with an us-easy feeling for coming and going and leaving our vehicle on the street. The neighborhood, though the people were nice that we talked to, there were some "sketchy" "characters" on the trash covered area. Akia was wonderful but unfortunately, we would have to reconsider staying there again, only due to the location.

Property owner was delightful and went above and beyond to make our stay nice. We were in Philly to see our daughter graduate from college and there was a mix up on which property we rented, but property owner corrected.

Great apt. - Neighborhood not the cleanest.

We were very impressed with the appartment itself. Very clean. Additionally, my husband and I felt very safe behind two locked doors. However, climbing the stairs was a bit tough and the trash floating through the street was adisheartenening

Nice and Clean Little Apartment

The room itself was perfect. Nice TV/couch, a good size kitchen, clean restroom and shower, and a comfortable bed. The neighborhood was nice enough during the day but after all the businesses closed, the street became a little sketchy. Not the fault of the host at all, but definitely something to be aware of.

Comfortable apartment near 30th St Station!

My friend and I stayed here for two nights and were very satisfied with the experience. There is one bedroom and a pull-out couch which was very comfortable for an adult! There is a key rig with pods provided. The apartment is on the smaller side, but it felt cozy and was definitely comfortable for two adults. Our host was very helpful and communicative. I had some confusion with the front door code and she got back to me right away to help. I would recommend taking Uber to-from, but it's a very short ride--only 10 min from the train station and 15-20 min (including traffic) to Independence Hall/Liberty Bell!

Perfect anniversary getaway

This rental was as shown in the photos posted. Checking in/out was super easy. The owner was super helpful & responsive . Street parking was available right out front of this unit and free for the overnight ,which was fantastic. Fyi...Parking meters start running at 8am. There are always police officers around, so we felt safe. The Owner provided complimentary travel sized toiletries: toothpaste, Toothbrushes, mouthwash, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, toilet paper, roll towels, garbage bags and even snacks (popcorn, various candy, bottled water)--- this was so convenient and much appreciated. When i booked our reservation, i informed the owner that my husband and I were staying in town to celebrate our wedding anniversary and when we arrived , we found a beautiful anniversary card and balloons, which was totally unexpected, but extremely thoughtful. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this unit for anyone looking to visit philly's major attractions, which are just mins away.

Cozy clean and comfortable

I can't say enough about this property and the host. We stayed due to a family member who was at U Penn Hospital. The host communication was outstanding. Quick response and helpful beyond belief. The property was cozy but beautiful. I had no fear in the neighborhood... Infact the neighbors I did encounter were nothing but nice and friendly. Can't go wrong here.

Being a host gives us the opportunity to support guests during important moments in their lives, from extended work trips to celebratory occasions. Our goal is always to provide a smooth, reliable, and enjoyable experience that makes guests feel at ease and confident in their stay.

Derfor valgte værten dette overnatningssted

The neighborhood offers a genuine Philadelphia experience, full of energy, character, and local culture. It’s a place where long-standing businesses, neighborhood spots, and everyday city life intersect, creating an environment that feels real and lived-in rather than staged. You’ll see people going about their day, local shops opening in the morning, and the rhythm of an active business corridor that reflects the city’s working spirit.

What we enjoy most is watching the area continue to grow and evolve. New businesses and renovations are steadily emerging alongside the neighborhood’s historic roots, giving it a sense of momentum and possibility. Its central location makes it easy to reach universities, hospitals, parks, and major attractions, while still offering a grounded, authentic atmosphere that many guests appreciate as a true snapshot of Philadelphia.

Derfor er dette overnatningssted unikt

What makes our property stand out is the balance of comfort, convenience, and transparency. We offer a clean, modern, fully furnished space designed to feel comfortable for both short and extended stays, with hotel-quality linens, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a thoughtfully equipped kitchen. Guests often appreciate the ease of keyless entry, clear communication, and our responsiveness throughout their stay.

Equally important, we set honest expectations about the urban environment so guests know exactly what to expect. Combined with a central location near universities, hospitals, and Center City, plus professional management and attention to detail, our property provides a reliable, well-maintained home base for guests who value comfort, clarity, and a true Philadelphia experience.
