Cozy Waterfront Comfy Cottage With Lakeside Fire Pit - Close to Lake Michigan

Great location! 60' of private frontage on all sports Twin Lake. Sandy shallow beach perfect for swimming, floating and playing. Great fishing lake and we provide 3 adult kayaks with paddles as well as 1 stand up paddleboard. We also have cornhole and inflatables for guests to use. Enjoy the beautiful sunset from the comfort of the beach, lakeside bed or porch. Sleeps 6 (maximum of 4 adults). Central air and central heat.

Minutes from Lake Michigan, Muskegon Luge, Michigan's Adventure, Twin Lake County Park, Coast Guard City USA Grand Haven, Stone Gate Golf Club, Muskegon Waterfront and so much more. Close to eateries, breweries, Cedar Creek Motorsport Trail and Thunderbird Raceway.

•Main Bedroom offers a bunk bed combo (full on bottom and twin on top) and also an additional twin bed.

•Lakeside Sunroom has a full bed where you are surrounded by the stars and breeze

•Kitchen is stocked with whatever you might need to get your stay up and running. Dishwasher, Keurig, pots/pans and dishes are provided. Gas Grill on site as well.

•Water toys and games on site are for guests to use

•Due to severe asthma/allergies, cigarette smoking is NOT permitted anywhere on the premises, inside or out.

•Due to severe asthma/allergies, pets are NOT permitted under any circumstances - Inside or out.

My daughter, grandkids and myself had a great stay. The water was great and we really enjoyed the kayaks and paddle board. The neighbors were friendly. We would visit again.

Small cabin but enough for our family of three. Had air conditioning in the living room and one bedroom. With windows opened we had enough of a breeze most nights to cool off the bedroom on back porch. Had 3 kayaks and a paddle-board available, a child’s life jacket. We enjoyed sitting out of chairs and watching boats on the lake. Was able to find what we needed easily.

Perfect! We didn’t want to leave the house!

I cannot express how perfect this house was for our family of 5. We booked because it was 10 mins from Michigans Adventure and we had been gifted tickets to there. We did enjoy fun stuff in the area, but were bummed we didn’t plan for more time at the house itself! Kids loved playing in the sand, swimming, collecting seashells, walking on the dock trying to catch fish. Boys even took out the Kayaks briefly which they had never done before. The water was still very shallow around the dock - we still supervised of course, but it wasn’t stressful. Kids ate dinner on the beach and we made smores over the bonfire. Just sitting in the yard enjoying the view & watching them play was relaxing. We were grateful for the gas grill, washer/dryer, towels and other essentials. The master bed was a little small for us but it wasn’t really an issue. It was comfy (all the beds were!) so we just enjoyed the views while cuddled up! I also loved eating breakfast at the little coffee table, looking out at the water. In the area - we did Michigan Adventure, and we drove to Muskegon to swim in Lake Michigan. (30 mins away). We found some great food in the area and there’s a Meijer close by too. Hosts of this place were super polite and communication was great. No complaints! 10/10 would stay again. We were sad we didn’t stay longer!!

Perfect beach getaway!

This little cottage is fantastic! A friend and I took a little mom getaway with our kids (ages 8-12) and it was the perfect place to stay. It is clean, super close to Michigan’s Adventure and offers everything you need. The beach is spacious and very shallow which made it easy for the kids to play and use the paddle board and kayaks. My son had never used a kayak before and now he’s obsessed! We brought a couple of towels but we really appreciated having additional beach towels provided, it was really helpful. It always makes such a difference when the small things are included such as coffee k-cups, laundry pods, shampoo/conditioner, ice in the freezer, etc. It makes things so much easier and more enjoyable, especially with kids! The communication was extremely responsive and friendly. We accidentally forgot a pair of kid shoes when we checked out and Mary messaged us so we were able to quickly retrieve them later that evening. We can’t wait to return!

Long weekend getaway

This is our second time visiting this house and this second time around was the best time. The lake in the backyard is perfect for young children. We will be back!

Good times

We had three great beach days, and one really rainy one. The house is very clean, beds were comfortable. This home has great views and a very nice beach/swimming area. We used the paddle board a lot!Tho it is quite small, it was sufficient for what we needed it for.

Great getaway close to Michigan’s Adventure

We were looking for something more than a hotel for a quick 3 day getaway for a last minute family trip before our daughter goes off to college. It was exactly what we were looking for. Nothing fancy, but clean and on the lake. Lake was very shallow and water warm like a bath. Wish we had thought to bring water shoes for the algae, but it was amazing. We don’t know there wasn’t a dock or fire pit but it was okay, we’re figured out the property lines after taking a second look at the listing description. It was adorable & clean and enough supplies for our short visit. So close to Silver Lake, Muskegon & Michigan’s Adventure. We would most definitely stay here again.

Lake Front Fun

Cottage was clean, in very good condition, all appliances in good working order and well stocked with consumables, towels etc. (obviously not food). Mary is a good communicator and fun was had by all. Definitely recommended.

Lovely little cottage

We enjoyed everything about this little cottage--it's super cute, clean, and in a quiet, beautiful location. It had everything we needed and then some. We were in town for a cycling race and it was convenient to get to and from our race venue. Loved the sunsets and walking to Overboard Inn for breakfast.
