Let our guest bedroom be your home-away-from home. The super comfy full-size bed in a sunny room with a garden view will help you snooze your cares away. If you need snuggles, the dogs and cats are happy to help you out.

Household includes husband and wife nearing retirement (joy!) and two traveling professionals that rent rooms in a separate part of the house, 2-3 dogs and lots of indoor/outdoor cats.

Comfortable country neighborhood with gorgeous Mt. Baker view just ten minutes from I-5.

The space
This room is on the main floor of the house, on the south side, so lots of good sun and a pretty garden view.

You will walk through the den on your way to the bathroom. There are two other full bathrooms in the house, so your pre-work routine should not have to be scheduled around anyone else's needs.

The kitchen is well-planned and easy to work in and there is a large deck on the North and West sides of the house.

We run our farm business, Flower Feather Farm, Specialty Chicks and Dahlias, on this property, so there are frequently baby chicks hatching in the hatching room and/or hanging out in brooders in the laundry room until they are big enough to go outside.

We have two full-time dogs and several part-time dogs, depending on which family members are traveling. Six cats are in charge of mice and are frequently draped across the numerous pet beds in the house.

The house is professionally cleaned once a week -- your room can be included in this at your discretion and cost.

Beautiful area of Bellingham

Hosts were very gracious and accommodating. Bed was very comfortable and property was beautiful. Would definitely stay again.

Home away from home for animal lovers

I stayed here while I started a new job and looked for permanent housing. I felt so at home and it was so nice to have animal loves every day. The pool was lovely on a very hot day and the hot tub was a perfect end to a stressful day. My only regret is not having more free time to enjoy the environment.

Great value for money!

This was an ideal option for me, great price and perfect for my needs as I was out most days mountain biking. Suzanne & Jamie are great hosts and very welcoming. My room was fine, they even added a TV for me and the separate bathroom was perfect. They have friendly dogs and cats plus plenty of chickens 😁

Suzanne and Jamie, the house, and the location were all just amazing. I arrived late and the directions to back into the drive didn't make that much sense at first, but Suzanne's instructions and the good lighting around the property made it easy. I had a busy trip and didn't see them much, but they instantly made me feel like I was a new member of their household. I'll definitely be recommending them when friends and family come to visit.

Jamie is works as a division manager for an industrial inspection company ― he is looking forward to retirement. I run a chick and dahlia farm which you can see here: https://www.flowerfeatherfarm.com. We have two fledged young adult children who live nearby.

We have two full-time dogs and two part-time dogs, depending on which family members or neighbors are traveling. We have five kitties, an essential part of farm vermin control. You can expect to be greeted at the door by happy dogs and some of the kitties will snuggle with you. We almost always have young chicks in the house, as I hatch every week.

We actively discourage the party people as we are not partiers, drinkers, or smokers, and though we love people, we also love alone time. We always greet our house-mates and leave it up to them if they want to chat or not.

The well water is delicious, the farm-fresh eggs are free, and you are welcome to cut flowers from the garden for your room.
