The space was ok. It was basically clean, although the bedroom closet had a strange smell. There was no table to eat at. The bedroom pictured in the ad, although seemingly no better or worse, was not the one in our unit. The directions to find the unit were strangely worded, making it confusing, and even more confusing is that the door was labeled with a different unit number than that in our confirmation. All that would have been ok, tolerable, not a big deal. But then the internet did not work. When I was advised to restart the router I wrote to the host to ask where it was. I received a reply later that the unit was in the basement, serving multiple units, and they would reset it remotely. When I tried it again, it still didn’t work. I wrote to tell the host, and the host did not reply for the next 20 hours while we were still guests in the unit. Yes, 20 hours. To be clear, the first 4 things on the list of essentials provided involved internet and we went from 4pm on a Thursday until 10 am on Saturday without internet and the host did not deign to reply to me for 20 hours. Not only does this mean I could not do work I needed to do on my computer for the entire time but also that there was no way to use the television provided, since it was reliant on the internet.
