In Historic Pendleton. Built in 1899. Has been totally renovated with a mix of modern and vintage elements. Rich with character & comfy cozy. Open floorplan with lots of room for gathering with friends and family. Each bedroom has a TV and comfortable beds with fine linens. The kitchen is well equipped for all your cooking needs. Front covered porch and large back yard with deck. Easy access to I 69 & I 70. Nestled in a quiet neighborhood that is walking distance to restaurants, coffee houses, antique shops, and Fall Creek Park w/walking trails, gentle waterfalls, & pristine gardens.

So charming! Brenda was wonderful! We have family in Pendleton and the hotels are not great. This place was amazing and so cute! Super clean! Brenda was super responsive! Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time at Brenda’s! The neighborhood is quaint, family friendly and walkable even for kids. We walked to the park, coffee and dinner. Brenda’s house is exactly as pictured and has everything we needed. We loved exploring this charming town and will definitely be back!

Fantastic property

We truly enjoyed our stay! The house is very clean and beautifully decorated. It is in a quiet neighborhood and we enjoyed walking around town. We hope to stay there again and highly recommended this place!!

Thanksgiving Holiday

We traveled from Louisiana to visit our Indiana family for Thanksgiving. The house was perfect for us to rest and relax. Enjoyed the Pendleton shops and coffee shop. Thanks Brenda for allowing us to rent this beautiful/cozy home!

Just like Grandma’s

Extremely clean, comfortable, with everything you would need. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped. The property is decorated to feel like home.The village of Pendleton is a throwback in time. So awesome and simply enjoyable.We did have an issue with the WiFi password and that turn out to be a blessing, as we had a wonderful conversation with the owner and figured it out in short order.All in all, a fabulous property. I travel a lot and stay in lots of different high end properties. These beds were extremely comfortable.

Family loved it!

Excellent all round! Antiques galore! Very comfortable. Lots of steps up to a large bedroom with 2 double beds & a single bed nicely decorated. Lots of dishes of various kinds. Visited relatives for a 3 day stay.

Relaxed Indy 500 focussed family Weekend

Perfect charm in this warm and quite functional downtown Pendleton property! My family has been going to the Indy 500 for over 60 years and this was the perfect gathering spot for Memorial Day Weekend BBQs and get togethers! We enjoyed Saturday's farmers market as well as the friendly folks in Pendleton out and about!

Indy work trip.

The property was as listed. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots, pans, etc. The neighborhood was quiet and it felt safe. Very nice house, was recently remodeled and done well.

Best VRBO!

The house looked great from the listing. The process of communicating was smooth. But best of all, the house had everything we needed…from the kitchen, to reading material, to blankets, and non-saggy mattresses! You can’t go wrong with this rental!

Lovely home to spend the weekend!

My sisters and I found that this home was the one we grew up in - we are now between ages 65-79. We decided to book it and we are so glad we did! Many, many lovely changes to the home and property. We reminisced and had a great time. Brenda was the most gracious host - the home has everything you would need to stay for a few days and decorated so nicely. It's within walking distance to downtown Pendleton and the historic Falls Park. Definitely recommend with 5 stars!!!

Elegant Farmhouse Home

Brenda brought my family back to the good old days with this home. Every element of it was absolutely delightful. From the outside it doesn’t appear very big, as we drove by it last fall. But once inside we were amazed at how spacious and well laid out it is. The downstairs master was perfect for my elderly parents and the kids and my husband and I took over the upstairs. I drank my morning coffee on the front porch swing wrapped under a quilt, read one of Brenda’s books, The Prayer Boxes (great read!), while curled under a quilt on the couch in the evenings. We spent time eating popsicles on the back porch and the kids played well in the backyard. This home is a gem, and I’m already trying to figure out how to host family here later this year. Thank you for a wonderful stay! God bless you and yours. ❤️

Perfect!!!

It’s even better than the pictures. 1. The neighborhood is fantastic! Beautiful, well kept homes all around, quite and peaceful. Mornings on the front porch swing listening to the birds was wonderful! And the view from the swing is of a beautiful home with a large lawn, roses and hostas. 2. The house is updated, new kitchen appliances, new modern bathrooms. 2 1/2 baths. Upstairs bath is deep enough for a soaking bath! Comfy couch, king master bed was comfortable too. TV’s in den and all three bedrooms. The best is the owners took antiques and things your grandmother would have had and decorated the house in a way that was top notch and yet modern, clean and uncluttered. Plus you get to use the antique dishes! 3. Outside- front porch swing, new grill, back porch with 4 seat table, bench, hydrangeas, roses, trees, large back lawn of soft grass (not fenced), birds, lightning bugs. 4. Pendleton- walking distance to downtown area. We only ate at Quack Daddy donuts- Maple bacon donuts yummy! But there were other restaurants to eat at as well! Stop by little shop in downtown for some bath bombs, shower steamers and soaps. Felt comfortable enough to allow my three boys to walk to downtown Pendleton on their own. I hope I have a need to come back to this area and get to stay here again!

We had a wonderful stay! The home was clean, cozy and exactly as described. The location is excellent, close to Falls Park and downtown shops and restaurants. Communication with host and check-in was smooth, quick and easy. Overall, a great value and comfortable place to relax. We would definitely stay here again!
