Loved the pool. Plenty warm enough to swim in early October. Rooms were neat and clean. There are no rugs, kinda missed that comfort but I understand. We brought our lab and the back fenced yard was great for him to run around in, however for potty time, there was zero grass.

My family vacation at Sunny Daze was all we had hoped it would be. The pool was sooooo nice and we all enjoyed the game room immensely!!! I haven't played ping pong in years and we all had a blast! And even though we didn't play eny card games or board games, there were plenty to choose from. There were only two drawbacks; the mattresses and the floors. I believe it is time to have the mattresses replaced. We are accustomed to firm mattresses and the only firm ones in the house were the twin beds. The king bed was so soft, it enveloped us. We did not sleep well, which was a bummer. And I believe the cleaning crew could do a better job on the floors. We couldn't walk barefoot in the house because it turned our feet black. The kitchen was well stocked with the things we needed to cook. All in all is was a great week!

Pet-friendly, family friendly, well layed out floor plan, great rooms, quiet, serene neighborhood. We have a fanstastic workcation, with our adult son, who enjoyed the pool, and playing poker with the locals.Great home. We really enjoyed the game selection.

Sunny days trip

I love this place is love oak island . We took the grandkids this time this is our second time staying here and the kids loved it they loved the pool ! And the gameroom.but the football table was broke .but we loved the house its so big the kids played on their VR and had plenty of room to.move around. Love the kitchen it's big and plenty of pits and pans and utensils .I would go back again thank u sunny days for such a great stay !

We enjoyed our time in Oak Island, however the house was not a nice as what was showed in the pictures.Pros:Very quiet neighborhood, excellent internet, very spacious, convenient to town (shopping and restaurants), lots of storage and comfortable beds.Cons:Exterior of home needs pressure washing badly. Front gutters overflowed when raining making it difficult to get in to the house without getting soaked. Fencing in both back and front needs painting as well as the landscaping needs improvements. Bay window in the room off the dining area leaks and in need of repair.Kitchen required us to clean it, countertops really needs to be updated. Everything we used required washing. The oven smoked really bad when we used it…only once, didn’t want to use it again because it made the house stink. In the hall bath there is no exhaust fan, the drain in the tub was FULL of hair that we had to clean out to get the water to drain and the tub needed to be cleaned. Master bath shower needs handrails (our elderly Mother almost slipped and fell) and the sinks were dirty. More towels need to be provided, one per person is not enough. Also…we had to kill at least four roaches and one tick…not good.We do plan to come back to this beautiful Island but will not stay at Sunny Daze.

Family Vacation

Our family just returned from an incredible vacation in Oak Island, North Carolina, and we couldn’t have asked for a better trip. If you’re looking for a laid-back beach town that’s perfect for families, this is it. The beaches were beautiful, clean, and never felt overcrowded. We loved spending our days swimming, surf fishing, searching for shells, and watching the amazing sunrises and sunsets. The slower pace was exactly what we needed to relax and enjoy quality time together. The local restaurants were excellent, with plenty of fresh seafood and family-friendly options. Everyone we met was welcoming and friendly, which made us feel right at home. One of our favorite things about Oak Island is that it hasn’t lost its small-town charm. It’s peaceful, safe, and a place where kids can just be kids. Whether we were taking evening walks on the beach, exploring the island, or simply sitting on the porch listening to the waves, every moment felt like a vacation should. We made memories that our family will cherish for years to come, and we’re already talking about when we can come back. Oak Island has definitely become one of our favorite vacation spots, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and unforgettable beach getaway.

Plenty of room for our family of 4 adults and a 5 year old. We were concerned about pool safety, but both back doors had multiple locks and I had to stretch to reach the top one! There were pool floats/toys, etc. There were also chairs for the beach.The kitchen was very well stocked, the only thing I didn’t see was a pizza cutter (we just used a knife) and an electric skillet (used two regular skillets). Plenty of storage in entire house. The converted garage/game room was handy to keep our grandson busy while we cooked or did laundry. Plenty of parking on a quiet street.Not really walking to beach location, but it worked fine for us. It would be about 10 blocks, doable for some, but with beach chairs, etc. we just drove.We would rent again!

Beach House

We had a great stay at Sunny Daze with our 4 kids. The house is well stocked. My kids enjoyed the game room and the pool! We didn’t bring our dog but the house is well prepared for them.

Great place to stay

Home was as listed. Open floor plan kitchen and dining was nice. Really enjoyed the saltwater pool. Quiet neighborhood and easy access. I would definitely stay there again.

Perfect vacation spot

The home was exactly as presented. The rooms are large, house was clean, perfect for our guest and our fur babies. Loved the pool, which is where we spent the afternoons when it was too humid for the beach. I highly recommend this home.

Amazing

The house was amazing. Open and lots of room for everyone. The game room and pool made it perfect for adults and kids of all ages. Easy to access beach. Kitchen was large and plenty of storage and well stocked for cooking. Look forward to going back

Great family fun

We loved our family week long stay here. We appreciate so much that the property is dog friendly. The game room and pool were crowd pleasers, especially with 6 teen boys. House was clean and as described. Plenty big for all 8 of us. Quick 5 min drive to the beach with plenty of paid parking available. Would definitely come back!

Clean and Comfortable

Lovely house with game room and huge pool. Short drive to beach which was beautiful. Kitchen with huge island. We bought Roku for bedrooms due to easier to operate. The beds are really high so may need stool to climb into if elderly like us. We laughed so hard getting into bed. This is a wonderful safe neighborhood that is Pet friendly.
