Location was directly in the north end and as such we walked everywhere- the Freedom Trail, all the amazing restaurants, bars, North & South and Quincy and Boston Public Markets and coffee and bakeries and gelato stands. Walked to TD Gardens to see the Bruins hockey game. Walked to the Citizens theatre to see Wicked and the harbour to catch a cruise. Agree with all the other reviews that there are stairs only up to the apartment but certainly worthwhile once you get up there as the accommodations are very cozy. Comfortable chaise lounge/couch for watching a movie at night, queen bed was okay. We have king bed but compromised due to the excellent location. Boston is such a remarkable city to visit.

Location, location, location! We couldn’t have asked for a more convenient location in the heart of the historic North End of Boston. Just about everything we wanted to see was walkable. The building entrance was easy to find and the door codes worked perfectly. The stairs are not fun, but definitely doable. The apartment is cozy and was also very clean with just about everything we needed. The only slight negative we had was the beds—the fold-out sofa is a bit small and not easy to open, and the bed is very creaky with even the slightest movement. We did also see a few small ants, but we were careful not to leave food out, so they were not a nuisance. Very nice accommodations for a family of 3 with a teenager.

Great Location for a Boston Stay

Great location near the Old North Church and the Freedom Trail. Only a couple of blocks from the harbor. The host is very responsive and accommodating.

This is the perfect little place to rest after a long day of exploring. It had everything we needed and was in a great location. The 4 flights of stairs are no fun, but we would definitely stay here again if we came back to Boston.

Great place. 5th only one bed as a heads up. The 2nd bed is a coach that turns into. Wonderful location. Maybe best neighborhood in the United States.

This was the perfect location. The stairs are tough, and we knew about this before booking. The apartment had everything we needed. Great place in a perfect location. It was everything we needed.

A North End Gem

We loved our stay, great location, updated and super clean, honestly even nicer and person! We visit Boston frequently and it was so nice to stay in my old neighborhood. There’s nothing quite like the North End and we look forward to staying here again!

Very Excellent Stay

The property was a 1:1 match with what was advertised. The apartment was very cozy, clean, and in a fantastic location; near plenty of restaurants and attractions in the North End and Long Wharf area. I’d recommend this property to anybody coming to the area.

Spent 5 nights in this quaint little apartment. Small but it was perfect for our stay. Location is the best!!! Would stay here again.

Great location!

It was in the perfect location! Very Boston authentic in the 5 story walk up building! Cute design. Owner was great at communicating with us. The only thing to note is the pull out couch/futon only really fits a child comfortably. We loved our stay in Boston!

Everywhere we looked was super expensive but when we found this, we got really excited! It had good reviews and price was very affordable. Once we got here and stayed, we realized it was a "you get what you pay" type place. It was not the cleanest: the bathroom shower had wads of hair in the drain and strands of hair on the walls. The sheets and covers were stained, and there was dust everywhere. We left pizza in a box over night and found what looked like 100s of little ants on the table, box and the actual pizza the next morning. There were 2 centipedes in the kitchen sink. The bathroom drains had a pretty foul sewer smell. Supplies were low: we stayed a total of 5 nights and only got one roll of toilet paper and the bathroom hand soap was just soapy water. Other than this, the location truly was perfect, as it was a 10-15 minute walk to the train and buses nearby. Little Italy is awesome and so are the people there. Communication with our host was good! If we come back, we might have to pay a little more for a different stay.

Awesome location!

Great spot in the heart of the North End! I wasn’t prepared for the five story walk up, and my legs were truly feeling it at the need of the trip! Quiet, clean and walked to and from the Garden with ease for the concert. Would definitely stay again.

This was really nice

Stayed for a whole week. The partment was well furnished. It felt like I had lived in this apartment for years. The only warning I will give is it is up five flights of stairs. For the first few days it was fine, but after a while it took it's toll. Would definitely stay here again

Easy access to everything

Great location. We were able to take the metro from the airport and then walk. You won't need a car. This is a wonderful neighborhood. You can easily walk to lots of restaurants, bakeries and historical sites. The people are friendly and it felt safe at all times of the day and evening. Keep in mind that the apartment is on the 5th floor with no elevator.

Great location

Loved how easy it was to get to the T and being close to great cannolis. Plenty of space for our family of 3 and kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Quiet at night.Rated as 4 stars overall for some minor inconveniences . Sparsely stocked with supplies. No cleaning supplies, had to buy dish soap and TP when we ran out. Pillows smelled bad and were very flat so had to buy some at Target. Door to the street was often unlocked as it was hard to close it securely.

Cute, Central Location

Comfortably accommodated 3 women for a short weekend trip. Good for what we needed, which was just enough space to sprawl out after exploring the city at the end of the day. We are close enough with each other that we don't need much space, but this may be tight for others. The couch is a pull out, and there is also an air mattress for extra sleep-space. My one qualm with this listing is that there is no full-length mirror! The only mirror in the unit is over the sink which was a little frustrating for us, but we made it work! I suggest to the host to add a cheap $20 full-length mirror somewhere in the unit so it's easier to get ready. Then it would be perfect. Overall would recommend!

This is an excellent apartment in the heart of the North End, walkable to endless Italian food, historic sites, and the harbor. Don't worry about the four flights of stairs as long as you're able-bodied - it's good for you! Everything was clean and well appointed. As a family of three, my wife and daughter took the bedroom while I slept on the click-clack couch in the living room - which was comfortable even for a 6'3" middle-aged dude. Another great thing about this unit is that there are no shared walls due to the unique shape of the building, and it's on the top floor. All around a great stay!
