Super cute apartment. Close to areas of interest. The wifi was sketchy more often than not and couldn't get anything good on the tvs. Over all we enjoyed our stay

Great place to stay. Great location, neighborhood and SPOTLESS! Well appointed, lovely, quirky, spacious apartment. WiFi worked perfectly which was critical for me and this was a working trip. Each area is clean and has anything you would need.Parking area and entrance are at the back of the building. Parking is excellent, spacious and right at the foot of the entry steps with good lighting. Excellent security: Code pad both at entrance to the building AND at the top of the steps at door to the apartment. Bi-level within apartment: just 3 steps from Master Bedroom/bathroom up to the rest of the apartment. Tight entryway and narrow, steep stairs up to apartment. (Not appropriate for anyone with physical limitations.)Kitchen has great equipment, cookware, cutlery, and utensils. Dining room has additional china and glassware. Bed extremely comfortable. Communication with host was excellent! Would stay here again, and have already recommend to friends.

Quiet area in a historical district. Traveling with our pooch for our granddaughters graduation from college. We were upgraded to 2 bedroom apartment while renovations were being done to originally booked 1 bedroom

Front door weird layout

Jimmy was extremely helpful. Nice property guy. Owner wasn’t to communicative about getting into the unit she didn’t text until 5 pm. Could not get my luggage thru the front door as it opened up to the stairs to get to the unit. Weird layout. Jimmy the property guy helped me. He opened the downstairs unit door so I could walk in there shut the front door and walk by luggage upstairs

Downtown Jackson has undergone an incredible transformation over the past decade, blossoming into a vibrant area with amazing restaurants, beautiful parks, boutique shopping, and unique attractions. A defining feature of Jackson is its Bright Walls Murals—a collection of 75 large-scale murals that add creativity and color to the heart of downtown. From the scenic parks and bustling restaurants to the friendly community vibe, Downtown Jackson has so much to offer. We chose this neighborhood because it reflects the best parts of Jackson: a blend of art, history, and community. It’s the perfect setting for visitors to enjoy Jackson’s lively atmosphere, all within walking distance from our apartment.

Our building, affectionately named “The Lydia,” honors both the location on Lydia Street and the owner’s granddaughter. As a historic building, it holds a special place in Jackson’s story. The apartment is located on the second floor, right above The Orange Peacock Gallery and Millie’s Orange Sofa, art gallery and boutique furniture store. Staying here places guests in the heart of Jackson’s creative and historic district, surrounded by local artistry and charm. When we furnished the apartment, we thought about what makes us feel at home when we travel, choosing each item to create a cozy yet stylish environment. Unique, comfortable, and in the center of Jackson’s best attractions, “The Lydia” offers guests an experience that’s both luxurious and rooted in the spirit of our community.
