Wooded Retreat: 3 Bed/2 Bath, Hot Tub, A/C, Fire Pit, Ping Pong + Yard Games

Our house is located on a private 2 acre, wooded lot near Lake Wallenpaupack. It is the perfect year round escape in the Poconos! We are very flexible with check-in/check-out times so please ask if you need to arrive earlier/leave later :-)


HIGHLIGHTS:

3 bedrooms (Sleeps 8-10 depending on adults/kids, a queen air mattress is available as well)

Wonderful Hot Tub! Soaking in the hot tub is great for every season :-)

Ductless mini split A/C for every room in the house!

Large fire pit area w/ bistro lights, 2 hammocks, hook and ring toss, picnic table and propane grill. Please no unattended fires!!!
Wood burning stove to keep warm in the winter.
Starter cardboard, newspaper, kindling, firewood, etc. provided for the above!

Deck with grill + 2 picnic tables. A great spot to see wildlife, especially in the mornings.

The detached garage has a ping pong table, yard games (corn hole, kanjam, bocce, croquet, slip n slide, etc.), chairs for the fire pit, coolers, s'more roasting forks, etc.

Excellent cell service, 400 Mbps wifi.

**1st Floor**
- Bedroom #1 with queen bed, 5 drawer chest, closet and a desk
- Hot tub on deck along with 2 picnic tables and a propane grill
- Full bathroom
- Kitchen with coffee maker, water cooler, ice maker, toaster, microwave, stove/oven, crock pot, instapot, fondue set, etc. + all utensils, dishes, plates, knife set cookware, etc.
- Eat-in kitchen/open dining room with 4 stools at the counter and dining table with 6 chairs
- Living room with wood burning stove + two couches, smart TV, board games, puzzles, etc.


**2nd Floor**
- Bedroom #2 with a queen bed, twin bunk beds, 5 drawer chest, walk-in closet (w/ pack n play if needed for little ones) and TV
- Bedroom #3 with a queen bed, closet (located in hallway) and TV
- Full bathroom


**Detached Garage**
- Ping pong table
- Kan Jam, Cornhole, Croquet, Slip n Slide, outdoor chairs, etc.


**Fire Pit/Yard**
- Large fire pit + fully stocked firewood
- 2 hammocks, picnic table and propane grill
- Toddler swing, flying saucer kid swing, monkey bars
- Small basketball hoop
- Hockey net

If you can't find something please give us a shout as we may be able to let you know where it is. If we don't have it, we will order it and get it to the house ASAP!

There are some local recommendations below and more in the welcome guide. There is also a booklet at the house that has the same info as the welcome guide.

AREA INFO:

- Lighthouse Marina, 1st Klas Marina, Pine Crest Marina and The Boat Shop are all a short drive for boat, jet ski and other water activity rentals
- Palmyra township public beach for lake access
- The Wake Zone is a short drive up the road with golf simulators amongst other fun games w/ light snacks and beer provided by Wallenpaupack Brewing Company. The brewery itself is a bit further up the road towards Hawley and definitely worth checking out.
- 507 Country Store is a nearby gas station with a great deli counter for every meal.
- Promised Land State Park is a 10 minute drive away with many hiking trails, a waterfall, a kids playground, pavilions, and a large, shallow lake w/ canoe/kayak/SUP rental.
- Hawley is about a 10 minute drive with small town shopping and restaurants and another large playground for kids.
- Honesdale is about a 25 minute drive with a larger main street to walk with stores and restaurants
- There are various bars and restaurants up and down 507 (the main road on our side of the lake) which are all worth checking out.
- Paws'n'Claws is a small local zoo about 15-20 minutes away
- Paupack Hills is an 18-hole golf course about 10 minutes away
- Costas Family Fun Park is a small amusement park with bumper boats, go-karts, playground, water slides, etc.
