Amazing stay!

My husband and I stayed for a few days with family and friends leading up to our wedding weekend and had an absolutely incredible time! The house is beautiful with a perfect location and well stocked with everything you would need!

Family trip up for a wedding

Great home in a peaceful location with plenty of room to spread out. It was very clean and the home has everything you would need from cooking utensils to board games for the kids and even ping pong and foosball downstairs. Very close proximity to shopping, restaurants and anything else that you might need. The only negative is that we visited in the Winter so couldn't enjoy the actual lake so we'll have to come back again in the Summer for a different experience! Desni was a great host and easy to get in touch with so we appreciated the easy process from start to finish.

Great Fall Getaway

This house was close to Portland in a nice, quiet neighborhood. It had plenty of space for me, my wife, and four kids. I love the care the owners take to make sure we have the comforts of home. It's fully stocked up with towels, toilet paper, kitchen cookware, you name it. They also took the time to label all of the light switches so you know how to turn everything one. We were very happy with our stay and highly recommend. The home itself was nice, but the care the owners took to make sure we had what we needed made it even better.

Quiet neighborhood and good location on the lake. It was disappointing when I called about the oven not working on our last night and was told no one would come out (since they were out of town and it was our last night anyway). It was nice to have access to kayaks and paddle boards to see the lake.

Peaceful House Sebago Lake

Location is excellent. House is comfortable and clean. Kitchen had adequate pots/pans. Primary bathroom shower faucet is very difficult to turn on and off. Water leak that dripped onto first floor. Caretaker very helpful. Rebar is still sticking up in the lake next to the dock. Dangerous for children.

Wish we had been informed of the large piece of concrete in the shallow water with metal spikes protruding. Felt it was dangerous. Also ground water came into basement area during a rainy day

The piece of concrete is pulled to the side on the right side of the dock. Our local handyman has been removing bits as it becomes exposed. Now that the water levels are finally going down, it will be completely removed by this fall. All the metal rebars have been cut off, so it is no more dangerous than a rock. We were not informed of the water entering the basement during the stay. We value good communication...unfortunetly this problem wasn't fixed until the next guests made us aware of the situation.

Family Trip to Sebago

We had a nice time in Sebago. The property was freshly cleaned as we arrived, but as we found out during the week prior renters had left the house destroyed. The property is an newly updated rehab in decent condition - the deck and dock still need updating. There is AC in the living room/kitchen and then another in the master bedroom. The other upstairs bedrooms got quite hot at night when the master door was shut. The only other issue that came up was a sewage backup (a prior renter flushed a shirt and paper towels) that flood the entire basement with water and sewage. The property manager was very friendly and helpful but this left us a bit skeptical about using the basement once it was cleaned up. The owners were also quite helpful - they sent us out to dinner the night of the flood so they could fix and clean the mess.

Unfortunelty, the basement did flood a bit during their stay, and we were informed of the situation right away. We were able to find a rapid solution thanks to the excellent communication with our guests. In order to prevent this from happening again, we purchased and installed a red sign on each toilet that reminds guests not to flush personal items!

Amazing location

This home is in a fantastic neighborhood and has easy access to everything on Sebago Lake by car or by boat. The owners are investors who do not live in the area but they have an EXCELLENT property manager, Casey, who was extremely helpful and responsive. Overall the house was wonderful. One thing that I wish I had paid more attention to was the floorplan. While technically the house will accommodate sleeping for 13, the bunk room is actually a converted primary bedroom closet so, while it has it's own separate door to the primary bathroom, the ONLY way in or out of the bunk room is through the Primary bedroom. I'd say that the bunk room is only suitable for small children who don't require as much privacy. Because the bunk 'room' took over the closet, there is zero hanging storage in the master, there is also no closet in the lower level 'bedroom'. While MOST people vacationing on the lake probably won't care and don't need to hang things (there are closets in the two smaller upstairs bedrooms), we were there for our daughter's wedding so there was A LOT of formalwear! The addition of a small wardrobe in the primary and lower level bedrooms would make a huge difference. Finally, as of our stay, the lower-level bathroom shower was not working due to some septic issue. While we only had up to 9 people staying there at once, it was a challenge to coordinate showers for everyone. If you plan to have more than 8 people, I would ask if this has been resolved.

This is a nice house in a great lake front location, with lots of amenities. The only thing I would flag is that the listing says "Wheelchair accessible" which in my opinion is not accurate. No bedrooms on the main level, one has to use stairs, and the stairs to basement and down to lake have no railing, so it's a challenge for someone with limited mobility. But if thats not an issue for you I think this is a great place for a lake vacation.

We had our family of 5 up to this beautiful house on Sebago Lake and rarely left as it was so much fun! Amazing dock and mooring to go with spacious home with foosball and ping pong in basement, would definitely stay here again!

We had an incredible time at this home! From the fire pit down on the lake to swimming off the dock! The space was perfect for our family after 4 days of Acadia! Can’t beat 4 days at the lake! Highly recommend!!! All the rooms were nice was able to sleep with the window open to listen to the lake in the mornings! Coffee on the enclosed porch in the rain in the morning! Every aspect of the house was set up for a perfect experience!

Our visit to this beautiful State and location was to celebrate our son’s wedding! This house and location was perfect for our needs. The owners were very accommodating. We were not able to enjoy the kayaks or paddle boards due to the water being so cold lol! Great location and close to everything you will need! Neighbors were so friendly also!
