This lake house was recently updated and features 4 bedrooms and 2 baths. Did we mention the million dollar panoramic views of the lake? When you walk in your sure to say "Wow, what a view". On the lake side there is a large outdoor entertainment area with two levels of new composite decks and flagstone patio with fire pit and comfy patio furniture all around. Vaulted master bedroom with wall of windows looking over the lake and southern exposure! Vaulted great room with fireplace, wet bar and entertaining area... and did I mention the views? Absolutely one of the best views from this gorgeous property on the Lake!

The main level of the home features a vaulted celling with two stories of windows looking over the lake. The cottage has an open floor plan on the main floor with a kitchen, dining area and living room with 70" Flat screen TV. There are wall to wall windows on this level and a sliding glass door that opens to a nice deck with patio chairs. This level also has a half bath, brick fireplace and wet bar. The kitchen is newly remodeled with granite counter tops and high end appliances. It's fully equipped to cook and server meals for up to twelve guests. Just outside the kitchen is a gas grill where you can sizzle your steaks while you look over the water with a glass of wine. There is also an extra fridge in the basement our guests are welcome to use. It comes in handy if you are staying with a bigger group for a week.

The upper level of this home is where all the bedrooms are as well as the full bathroom and laundry area with washer and dryer. Bedroom configurations are as follows:

The home has high speed wireless internet through out and several smart TV's plus cable for local channels. Cell phone reception is pretty good with most major carriers as well. We do NOT have a land line in the cottage.

The basement level has a game room with foosball table that the kids will love.

Location:
We are close to Madison (35 min), Milwaukee(75 min), Chicago(120 min), Janesville & Milton (20 min) and Fort Atkinson (15 Min) and there is a lot to do in the area. There are several winery's very close by as well as hiking trails, kayaking and lots of local restaurants and bars to explore. Madison and Janesville both have amazing farmers markets on Saturdays we would recommend you check out. Make sure you add a visit to a genuine Wisconsin Supper Club while you are here. Our house guest book has some excellent dining suggestions.

About Lake Koshkonong:
The Kosh as the locals call it is a 10,595 acer lake created by the damn at the southwest end of the lake called Indian Ford. The lake has 6 different bar/restaurants you can boat to during the season and many of them have live music nightly. There is also a great sandbar where on a nice day you can pull up, anchor and hang out in the waist deep water with a firm sand bottom and play frisbee and relax. It's a popular party spot on the weekends. The fishing on Koshkonong is good. Common fish include, bass, northern, walleye and panfish. There is a boat landing just down the street and the lake also has a public beach.


Rental includes 2 Kayaks for use during your stay in the summer months.
This home also has a dock you can tie your boat to during your stay. The water at the end of the dock is around 4.5 feet and the shoreline is sandy with small pebbles.
When your done boating for the day relax on the deck or by the fire pit overlooking the water.


SEASONS
From Mid June through July and August we only accept bookings for 4 nights or more.
September and May & the first two weeks in June require a 3-night minimum stay

HOUSEKEEPING
The home is professionally cleaned and sanitized following our local health department's Covid cleaning protocols between each guests. We supply paper towel, toilet paper, garbage bags, hand soap and dish washer soap as well as all bedding for the beds. The cabin also has a full size washer/dryer on main level. Bed linens, professionally cleaned at a commercial laundry between guests.

Parking: Parking for 6 cars or 5 cars + boat/trailer - cabin located down the street from a public boat access.

Please note, this home is meant for family-oriented and or small friend group gatherings. If your looking for a place to hold a party this is not it. If you are looking for a place to relax and make some memories, take in some great views and explore the lake, we would love for you be our guest.
