Stunning panoramic mountain views-close to town!

This gorgeous home boasts incredible views of the mountains on a lovely private property bordering a national forest. High ceilings, huge windows,and a fireplace make it the perfect place to get away! It is a lovely 2 story home with a spiral staircase-upstairs features a large fully stocked kitchen, as well as a dining room that seats 6. There is also a wonderful living room with a fireplace and floor to ceiling windows where you can take in the fantastic panoramic view-and a large TV for when you want it! There’s a big leather couch and huge comfortable chair in the corner facing the windows as well as a stressless leather recliner next to the gas fireplace which turns on and off with the touch of a button! Upstairs there is also a master bedroom with a king size tempurpedic mattress as well as the master bathroom. There is also a deck with a teak table an an amazing grill.
Downstairs features another living room with a TV, board games, and plenty of books to read. There are also two bedrooms-one with a queen bed and another with a bunk bed-perfect for the kids. There is also a large bathroom with 2 sinks and a washer and dryer.

Fully equipped kitchen, beautiful view of the mountains off of the private deck, very quiet, not far from town and outdoor activities - overall a very great location!

My husband and I absolutely loved this cabin. The driveway was easy access and the views of the mountains are absolutely incredible from the porch and living room. Kitchen has just about everything you need.The host was quick to respond to any of our questions. Cabin was clean and well maintained. Would love to come back to this cabin soon. Thank you for having us!

This place is a little slice of heaven! We loved everything about it! The view is amazing, we watched beautiful sunsets every night. It is so quiet and peaceful. The place is very clean and comfortable and fully stocked. Great location, just a short drive in to town and to the falls. We would definitely love to go back!

Everything about this house is excellent! The house is fully stocked, beautiful furniture and extremely comfortable. The view from the deck is amazing. The location is perfect for visiting waterfalls, hiking and shopping in Highlands and Cashiers. We had a great time and would definetly recommend.

The house should be advertised as 2BR 2 bath as the third bedroom appears to have been a mudroom with exterior door and just room enough for one bunk bed that was unstable and maybe ok for small children but no one else. The house was dirty with black mold in upstairs jets of bathtub and orange mold growing across bottom of shower curtain liner. The refrigerator had to be cleaned on arrival as stunk like dead fish. The refrigerator leaked water which ran across floor in kitchen once or twice a day. First night the freezer alarm went off multiple times because wouldn’t close properly. Dishwasher didn’t work but was replaced on 6 th day of our stay. When we left on day ten old dishwasher was still in front porch. Inside of kitchen drawers filthy. I could go on and on with how dirty the place was.

I am honestly quite shocked and stunned that You would leave us such a poor review! Especially considering that We talked on the phone and texted multiple times throughout your stay yet you never brought any dissatisfaction to my attention at all. If you had, I would’ve had our professional cleaning crew come out immediately and address your concerns. I had been staying there the entire week before your arrival And I told you before you got there I was having intermittent problems with the dishwasher and ordered a brand new Bosch dishwasher for you, which was installed the day after it arrived, we have had Nothing but 10 star reviews since 2022 and it’s a shame that you had to ruin our perfect record without even bringing anything to our attention!!!

Repeat visit to our favorite mountain house!

Our family of four stayed at this home last year and we loved it so much we came back this year! Everything is very clean and the house is cozy and charming. You can’t beat the views from the top floor- especially at sunset! The location is fantastic- close enough to town to be convenient but also get the benefit of being removed from the crowd. The house is well stocked with additional conveniences you don’t always get at other VRBOs in the kitchen and bathrooms.We unfortunately had an emergency pop up during our trip this year and the property manager/owner Rudy was incredibly understanding and accommodating to our situation. We can’t say enough good things about both of our stays here! Great for families or just a romantic getaway in the mountains. Don’t miss out on staying at this spot!

Rudy and Adrienne live in Sarasota, Florida with their two children, Ava and Rudy. They absolutely love the mountains and Adrienne frequently visited Highlands as a child and just loved it. There is an opportunity to go to North Carolina on a family vacation a few years ago and Rudy loves the area as well!! They decided they needed to buy property so they could spend as much time as possible up in the mountains and have their children grow up experiencing the Highlands magic!!
Adrienne and Rudy partnered with the property with their dear friends Lance and Bill. They live in Atlanta, Georgia and have always had a passion for Highlands and the mountains.

When we first saw this property the view is what really got us. There just wasn’t anything else like it available on the market. We also love the home because it’s so cozy, yet it has everything you need. It’s a lovely and quiet and surrounded by Nantahala national Forest so there’s plenty of privacy, yet it’s such a short drive from town.

Derfor er dette overnatningssted unikt

One of the things we love about it is there is also a small cottage on the property so it’s perfect for when we have extra guests and family who wants to join us while we are there.
