Fisherman's Landing Cottage #3 ~located right off of AL Highway 67 in Langston, AL less than 1 mile from one the nicest boat launches (South Sauty Creek) around on Lake Guntersville.

Come and sit on the porch to start your day with coffee and listen to the birds. Coming to Guntersville to fish, hunt, hike, see the bald eagles, or just relax and unplug? This is the place for you.

Our cozy & rustic cabin has 848 square feet that takes you back to simpler times. It is equipped with 2 bedrooms and 1 full size bathroom that sleep up to 4 adults. You'll have your very own kitchen, full size washer and dryer, and living room to relax and watch tv.

We now have wifi for your convenience.

Bedroom #1: Bunk Bed with (1) Full Bed and (1) Twin Bed
Bedroom #2: (2) Twin Beds

You'll also have a 16' x 36' covered shelter to park your vehicle or your boat. It is equipped with lights and electrical and water hook ups.

You'll have access to the Fisherman's Landing pavilion where you can hang out and relax or enjoy your dinner on at one of our picnic tables. You will also be able to use our fish cleaning station while staying with us.

What we provide: We provide all bed linens and towels for you during your stay. We also provide you with a basic starter set of toilet paper, hand soap, dish soap, trash bag, and laundry detergent. If you are staying for multiple day you will want to bring some extra supplies with you.

Nice cabin

We were traveling through the area and loved this cabin for a weekend stay. Communication was awesome, very reassuring when you have someone take the time to make sure you have a pleasant stay.

Quiet getaway

Had a wonderful time. Cute, quaint, and quiet little cabin in a beautiful location. Good central location to get to Huntersville State Park and Buck's Pocket. Will definitely go here again.

Great place to stay!

The house was exactly as described. The parking for trucks and boats can't be beat. Loved the close proximity to ramps on the lake. Would definitely stay here again!!! Thank you.

Had a great time fishing for 3 days. The cottage was awesome and in a grwat location to the lake. The cottage was everything advertised. Highly recommend it and will be returning soon.

Great place to stay at to fish. Gas station close by and really nice boat ramp. The ice maker was a really nice to have access to as well! We will be going back!

Fishing Weekend

Property was ideal for a weekend fishing trip. Quiet, peaceful area with grocery and restaurant less than a minute away. Very easy check-in and good communication with property management. The only thing missing were wine glasses and a corkscrew.

Good access to lake. Nice boat/trailer parking. We enjoyed it. Not much access to food around it. Overall super easy and nice.

Great stay. Bathroom toilet needs handle replaces (falls off) everything else was great.

Great. Outside trash can needs tied up so dog can’t turn it over but everything was great.

Guntersville Old Men Fishing Trip

Really like cabin. Plenty of room. TV a problem couldn't get it to work. Not real problem. Like being close to boat ramp. Me and my fishing buddy had great time. would been even better had we caught more fish.

Overall a great place to stay

There were some dishes that hadn’t been cleaned, dust, cobwebs, and other unclean aspects of the house. However, overall it was a great place to stay. The Host was very welcoming and responded to me quickly. It is within a minute drive to a gas station and fishing dock. Also, the host lets you know that if there is anything not perfect about your stay to let him know and he would fix it. The only reason we didn’t is because we only stayed for a few nights and overall it was pretty clean. We would recommend this place! It is very affordable!

Cute cottage for a fishing trip

We rented this cottage for the location - convenient to Lake Guntersville State Park (beautiful) and Cathedral Caverns State Park (awesome). It's also not too far to Huntsville and the Space Museum/Rocket City. Well suited for a fishing trip, with a boat launch within a mile. There are also boat launches at the park. The cottages all have shelters for boats and trailers. Clean and nicely furnished. It worked well for our purposes and was a great alternative to hotels. Our only problem was the toilet handle broke (we fixed it). Other comments: could have used more hand towels, and it would be nice to have a table or small bureau in the bathroom where cosmetics, etc could be put. Overall positive experience!

Nice Location

Overall it wasnt too bad. The location was nice and quiet and very convenient to the Langston boat launch. I feel as though the cottage could have been cleaned a little better. There was food in the sink drain and the inside the microwave was not clean. We ended up not using it. The trash can outside was half full with the previous renters garbage and their were a few missing/ burnt out lightbulbs throughout the place. Bugs in the overhead light bulbs fixtures are kind of unsightly as well. I know these are minor things but they should be addressed.

This is a great cabin for a few fishermen who want to enjoy the lake about 1/2 mile down the road. The drive was great and area beautiful. The cabin decorated in fishing theme which was fun. I wish they numbered the cabins to easily find. Just a note to future guests. This cabin didn't provide sleeping for a couple. Beds were not comfortable so we only stayed one night out of two. Bring your own ground coffee and everything you'll need in the kitchen. If you need to hang clothes they have 4 hangers. If you use streaming like Hulu or Netflix be sure to LOG OUT and not just sign out. I used Dale's account because he didn't log out. I don’t know Dale and have no idea when he logged in. I logged him out.
