Stille Beachfront Cottage

Oceanfront et soveværelse duplex hytte 150 yards fra en afsondret strand. Du vil være inden for en kort gåtur til den længste hvide sandstrand på Hawaii. Du vil blive behandlet til en smuk solnedgang hver aften enten fra privatlivet for din egen Lanai eller du kan tage den korte tur og nyde solnedgangen på stranden. Et godt sted at komme væk fra det hele og slappe af.

Enheden har et soveværelse med en kingsize seng og og en sovesofa i stuen. Køkkenet har køleskab, rækkevidde, opvaskemaskine og mikroovn. Komplekset har også gas drives grillaftener. Du kan spise i indvendige spiseplads eller udenfor på Lanai.

Skydedøre åbner stuen på Lanai til glædeligt bringe din havudsigt i sommerhuset.

Beautiful waterfront area! Be sure to get out and explore! Sunsets are gorgeous! Great communication with host. Unit was very nice and everyone we met (lots of snowbirds) was friendly. Although hot tub was noted- did not find one. Pool looks great! Washer and dryer were a nice surprise! Some vacant buildings on the property- previously was a Sheraton resort. The lived in condos are well kept. Would love to stay again when visiting Molokai. Wonderful relaxing island! Mahalo!

We liked the cabin and especially the ocean view with the beautiful sunrise and sunsets. The abandoned golf course did not add to the view as well as the red dirt blowing off the course. The age of the cabin (built in 1974 and no upgrades) is beginning to show. The thing we noticed right away was the smoke-carbon monoxide detector was completely missing in the living room (as required by law). See pic. The appliances are relatively new. The first couple of days, the gecko's were in control, but after they realized we were there to stay, they gave up and went elsewhere. With no screens and no AC we had the doors open 24-7 and the dirt flew in. We have been in the property management business for over 60 years and we would want to do some upgrades to this property to make it more hospitable. An ADA suggestion for older clients would be a grab bar in the shower and one near the toilet. Also a few more wash clothes and bath towels would be helpful and less use of the washing machine. A suggestion, a small grocery cart or wagon would be very useful in carrying groceries and garbage to and from the parking area. We have stayed on Molokai 3 other times at Molokai Shores and Wave Crest but never in Kaluakoi. We ate at the restaurant at the Sheraton several times when it was open. It was so hard to see the facilities all boarded up and falling down. Thanks for letting us use your cabin. Allen and Roxann Summers

Molokai Trip 2025

I hate to leave a bad review, I’ve never done so before, but I feel I have to share our experience. This unit is extremely rustic. It looked like it had been cleaned but then maybe no one had stayed in it for months? There were droppings all over the bed and pillows (gecko?), the night stands were covered with dirt and droppings, the bath towels had bird poop on them and there were giant dead moths in the bathroom the size of small bats. We can rough it but it just felt too dirty! My husband and I chose to leave and book somewhere else. It’s an old property, pretty location, but just very rundown and to get airflow you have to leave all the doors open. The host was nice. We did not communicate the issues, just left b/c we only had a few days to enjoy Molokai and it was a stressful situation. The host was nice and communicated when we did reach out before we got to the condo.

Overall, the condo was fine, beautiful views from the lanai. There were lots of seasonings for cooking, but there weren't many pots and pans. Everything in the condo is original, but that doesn't bother me. My only complaint is the listing shows there is a hot tub, There is NO HOT TUB. Unfortunately, my husband has some back/shoulder issues, and he loves to sit in a hot tub daily. This definitely affected our trip. I hope VRBO gets the listing corrected so no one else books it thinking they can relax in a hot tub!!

How is a person to know

We enjoyed our stay and the property very much. There are a few issues with the pool area and another property concern that consider certain areas trespassing. How a one time guest is to know these rules is a mystery to me.

West Side Molokai

We truly enjoyed our stay on the west side of Molokai. The accommodations were great and the views were spectacular. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone.

Beautiful spacious condo with ocean view

We loved this condo! The location is excellent with a beautiful ocean view. Super close to the pool and to the little store, just steps away from the beach. It was clean and spacious, perfect for a family of four. We appreciated the king size bed and all the kitchen supplies! The kitchen and pantry was very well stocked. We especially enjoyed having meals outside on the lanai watching whales playing in the ocean. Thank you for such an amazing stay!

Ocean front rustic beach cottage

We stayed for more than a week and enjoyed staying there, it was very affordable, it is in very original condition, Its Molokai, so it is acceptable! it has great sunset views and plenty of ocean breezes! Owner is wonderful and easy to communicate with.

6B rocks

Unblocked view of the ocean, easy access to parking, west side beaches (if you dare), great wildlife viewing from the lanai. Go to Molokai to unwind and not have anything on the to-do list. This unit not only had great cooking facilities, but a lot of spices, sauces and basics to carry through any oversight at the grocery. Our host was quick to respond and provided info on a local car rental. Best experience in the three trips we've had to this island.

Love Molokai!

This is our 8th or 9th trip to Molokai all spent staying on the west end. We love the units, specially the cottages along the old golf course. The unit was clean, well equipped and provided incredible sunset views. It’s a great walking place and a great pool. What more could we ask for!! Molokai is not commercialized so if you want a true Hawaiian experience this is your island.

Heavenly Holiday

This is one of our favorite vacations. The cottage is beautifully situated with an extraordinary view of the beach and ocean. Miles of paths for walking or bicycle, Molokai is the perfect place to decompress and relax. Recent upgrades with new appliances, furniture and floors enhanced an already perfect experience. Highly recommended. We will be back next year!

Great ocean views

The area was great and location in the complex was fantastic front row ocean views. We really liked that it had a great beach within a few hundred foot walk and that the very un-populated 3 mile beach was only a mile or so away. There were a couple of things inside of the unit though that were a little disappointing. The first impression when opening the door was a delaminated, dirty ceiling fan in the living room and the kitchen countertop was in poor condition. After that, noticed that there was spider webs, poop (from lizards/spiders? ) and just generally unclean at baseboards and floors along the walls & cabinets. There are also resident lizards that like to poop on the bedding. It's not really surprising because there are gaps at the doorways that the bugs can enter, so of course there would be geckos there too. Asking folks in the community, I understand that is the way a lot of older places are in Hawaii, I was just not really comfortable to wake up the first morning to poop in my hair and on my pillow😔I would go there again because the location was great, but would take a pop-up tent to sleep in. It didn't trouble my husband, he slept fine. Everything else in the unit though was good and it was nice to have a full kitchen, washer/dryer, beach items to use, etc. I don't want to discourage people from going to this one, just if you're a bit squeamish like me, be prepared to what you will find inside.

Great stay

This was our second time to Molokai and the condo was excellent. Very nice sunsets from the lanai and quiet. Everything worked perfectly and appliances have recently been upgraded and clean. Would definitely come back in the future.

Nice stay

We had a nice relaxing stay. Unit had everything we needed, except the tv was not working, and was to be replaced. But being on Molokai did make things a little difficult, and we did not get the replacement durning our stay which would have been nice. Location as perfect. Hoping to return to Molokai in the future.

Quiet with a breathtaking view of ocean

We’ll priced and fully stocked with all essentials you need to enjoy a stay in the paradise of Molokai. This unit is roomy, has a wonderful shower, nice tropical themed furniture, and a lovely spacious patio that has a full on view of a vast slice of ocean. You will enjoy sunsets over the southern tip of Oahu. The owner was very responsive to our inquiries.

Quiet & Peaceful

For those of you who don't know Moloka'i, it is not like any of the other islands in Hawaii. The locals do NOT want tourists, development of the island, or people moving there. If you go to Moloka'i, get your groceries and enjoy the peace and quiet at the cottage. On this visit, no restaurant was opened for dining. This was fine because we expected it, but it may be an issue for anyone who isnt prepared. Additionally, groceries are incredibly expensive (bag of doritos, normal bag size, $10.95). The selections are slim at the stores, and they close VERY early. Plan ahead. The cottage was very nice and is in an amazing location with an epic view from the lanai. There is a pool right on the ocean where you can swim, all while watching waves crash onto the rocks just yards away at sunset. Remember you are on a remote island. There are geckos all over and the occasional roach. Not much you can do about these on the island. During our stay, the first thing we saw was that the microwave was not operational, neither was the wifi. Microwave was not an issue, but the wifi made remote work impossible (no cell service or land line available at the property). When I messaged the owner he said, "not sure what to tell you, keep trying." Wifi never worked. We did very much enjoy the relaxation that comes with being completely unplugged. It was rejuvenating. I will definitely come back again, but I will be better prepared.

Beautiful views, beautiful place!

We had an amazing time at this beautiful place in Molokai! Amazing, unobstructed sunset ocean views with all the amenities needed for a simple stay on an unbusy island. Multiple beaches and tide pool areas within walking distance. This was our 3rd time to Molokai and always stay on the West Side, but this was our first time in this unit. Mahalo for sharing your piece of paradise with us!

My wife and have both lived in Hawaii but missed what we thought of as the old Hawaii. Then we found Molokai! This is truly a great place to get away from it all. There are no stop lights on the island and no structure taller than a coconut palm. Molokai is called the 'Friendly Isle' for good reason as visitors soon find out. We look forward to every visit to Molokai.
