Near Falmouth Heights Beach. Great for large groups! Create Cape Cod memories !

This very unique building was a home decor store in its previous life. The post and beam/farmhouse style building is now a vacation rental with the bottom two floors
approximately 4,000 sq feet being the main rental space. This home has an additional apartment upstairs that will only be rented out to someone in your group with your approval. The main property has 6 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms, 2 living rooms, kitchen, dining area, office area, 800 sq feet of outdoor patio with built-in seating , fire pit, outdoor string lights, fenced in backyard and plenty of grass area for family fun. Some of the sleeping areas are loft style where the high ceilings are open space above. Some are completely enclosed. Two of the rooms are large bunk rooms with 3 queen beds in each. The kitchen is open to the living room and the dining area. There is a second common TV area downstairs just outside the bunk rooms. There are 2 outdoor showers to help handle a big group getting ready at the same time. Outdoor showers are a Cape Cod must have. Located just a mile from Falmouth's favorite Beach, The Heights Beach.

The Island Queen Ferry to the Vineyard is also less than a mile away.

This rental is perfect for extended families, couples with children, golf trips, family celebrations and wedding parties. For additional fee you can have use of the large two bedroom, two bath apartment that is perfect for someone in need of a little quieter space maybe an older couple or a young couple with a baby. Leaving this review because I wish I had a heads up: We just booked this place for a girls bachelorette trip unfortunately we were locked out for the first hour and only got in contact with the host post calling vrbo contact support. She was on a flight and did not give us a warning that she may be unreachable for some time. We ended up having to go into the upstairs apartment per her husbands directions, cut a zip tie and take a barn door off the tracks to enter into our accommodations. The host was not apologetic and rude after hearing this is how we were instructed. We also found dirty socks in the master curtain when we opened the curtains, really makes you feel like there was no attention to detail with cleaning. All soaps were also filled with water to extend the life. It’s clear cutting some corners on this property. We tried to vacuum during our stay and at the end but were unable to find it. Limited dish soap and dishwasher fluid that we ran out of with less than a 2 day stay. Would suggest for a large group due to the proximity to all things Falmouth, if the above wouldn’t bother you. We would not come back after our interaction with the host and level of tidiness we were hoping for based on prior reviews.

Walking distance to the beach was fabulous….close to downtown and shopping. Location was ideal for us. We are a group of friends who gather once per year and this house was so great we returned. It’s immaculate and tastefully decorated. The owners are very responsive and lovely people to work with. We highly recommend this property.

We had the best time at the house. It is ideal for large groups, with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. With 8 adult women we all had space and never felt cramped or crowded. The house looks just as nice in person (if not more so) as it did in the photos. It was immaculately clean upon arrival and was stocked with everything we might need during our stay. The outdoor showers and fire pit were a big hit with our group. Donna was an excellent host and was easy to communicate with. We would definitely return!

We were VERY lucky to find Donna’s property at the last minute, after canceled ferry service meant we were unable to reach our planned destination on Block Island. Falmouth and the Cape are wonderful. It worked perfectly for our purposes as a multi family celebration weekend. The property is open and spacious. The backyard is gorgeous, with outdoor showers and a gas firepit. She thought of everything in terms of house and beach supplies! There are about a million bathrooms. Everything is super clean. We would like to mention that two of the basement bedrooms are connected by a curtain and amounts to a 6 queen bed megaroom. Two of the main floor bedrooms are enclosed inly with a partial wall, meaning you can hear everything in the kitchen and living room. Also, the location is very central but it is literally in the middle of the box store area - Walmart is across the street. Useful, but also a bit busy. On the plus side, mailing postcards is a breeze, since the post office is literally next door!Overall, a good fit with a couple quirks!

Great location and space

The house had great space for our group. The yard and firepit area were even prettier than the pictures. You would not know you are in the center of town with all the privacy provided. We appreciated the proximity to the ferry, beaches and grocery stores.

Great base for our family vacation

House had everything we, a family of 13, needed. It was conveniently located in on a commercial street with amble parking and was pretty quiet. The fire pit was a big hit. Lots of restaurants near by and several options for grocery stores too. We enjoyed our stay very much.

An Unforgettable Weekend

We had an amazing long weekend on the Cape at this property! Everything exceeded our expectations, from the easy (and early) check-in, to the cleanliness of the property, and Donna’s responsiveness to any questions throughout. We had 14 adults stay for a joint bachelor/bachelorette and there was plenty of space, tons of clean bath and beach towels, and comfortable/clean/quiet bedrooms. The backyard is incredible for get togethers. The property is located within walking distance to several grocery/convenience/liquor stores. We had a blast and would definitely stay here again!

Gorgeous Weekend Getaway

We had an amazing stay at this gorgeous property in Falmouth! It is even more spacious than the pictures show. Donna was a great host and we were able to enjoy all the property has to offer! It was only a short 10 minute drive to the Woods Hole ferry to Martha’s Vineyard, perfect for a day trip.

Perfect!

This property is a gem! Perfect for our girls weekend extravaganza! The home is cozy, clean, beautifully designed and decorated and provided plenty of space for all 12 of us. We were able to enjoy our time in this lovely home, walked to the beaches and bike path, and though it is centrally located for convenience, its quiet and private. The hostess is very very accommodating and as a local herself provided ample information and recommendations to help make our stay even more enjoyable! We cannot recommend it enough and are hoping to stay again next year!

Hello , I'm Donna your host. I built this beautiful building in 2004 for my home Décor boutique. Sundries Furniture. Over the years my customers always said, OMG I could live here. So it was a easy transition to image it as a home. The major reno was completed this past July ( 2022 ) As a retired interior designer I now spend most of my time between Falmouth and Florida with my husband Jeff.

This property was designed to be a Vacation Rental. It is much more like having a hotel to yourself than anything. The clean minimal design is free of clutter and makes you feel like its your space. In addition to the 6 sleeping areas and the two living rooms there is also a large foyer and a huge back room. The back room slider grants you access to the back 800 square foot patio.
Right outside the slider door you have 2 outdoor showers and a 15x15 foot cement sectional and gas Fire Pit. The café lights are enough to lite the area at night along with foot lights around the sectional. The deck also has a large gas grill and some outdoor furniture.
LOCATION....right on Route 28. close to beaches , ferry and stores. You can get to any part of Falmouth from this location. It is like a beautiful well landscaped home with lots of backyard privacy, at the same time it is right in the thick of things.

There is a one bedroom apartment above the rental that can be rented at an additional fee. But will be empty if its not someone you know. Perfect for someone who needs a little more privacy or quiet.
