Barnett Bungalow, by Kerrville Vacations, is a fully renovated cottage built in 1930. Just a few blocks from downtown, near restaurants, theaters, shopping, breweries, and parks. Barnett Bungalow offers two king bedroom suites with memory foam mattresses, an open concept kitchen/living/dining and original heart pine floors. Enjoy the spacious front porch or backyard deck, where you'll find a six-person hot tub and gas grill. And we are dog friendly!
THE KITCHEN:
- Open-concept floorplan with living/kitchen/dining spaces open to each other
- Cookware, spices, olive oil, mixing bowls, etc.
- Refrigerator (with icemaker)
- Electric stove/oven
- Dishwasher
- Dining table with seating for four
- Keurig coffee maker with starter packs of both decaf and regular coffee
- Pour over coffee pot and regular brew coffee pot (we do not provide coffee for these)
- Electric tea kettle is available

- Bedroom 1 is in the front of the house and bedroom 2 is located in the back

- Clawfoot tub/shower combo in front bathroom

- Outdoor seating for 4 on the front porch
- Propane grill & utensils (propane provided)

PARKING:
- Two parking spots in the driveway
- Additional parking on-street parking in front of the home
NEIGHBORHOOD:
- Close to downtown - 3 blocks
- Close to restaurants, theaters, bars, breweries, groceries, parks, and Schreiner University
- The neighborhood is in transition...some homes have been beautifully restored and more are being worked on every day. Some homes have not been updated at all. The area is quiet, with a
mixture of family homes, churches and other vacation rentals.
PETS:
- Dog friendly (see note below), however, the backyard is not completely fenced. You will want to keep your pup on a leash, as there are often deer in the yard and throughout the neighborhood.
- We welcome 2 dogs max for a $50 pet fee.
- In order to keep the property dog-friendly, we kindly ask that you clean up after them, both inside and outside (we provide dog waste bags at the home).
- There will be a $250 fee assessed if evidence is found that an undisclosed pet was brought onto the property.
- Please do not allow your dog on any furniture.
- Please do not leave your dog unattended in the home unless you have a crate. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated!!!
- We do not allow cats in the home.
SMOKING:
Smoking of any kind is not permitted inside the home. If you choose to smoke outdoors, please stay a minimum of 25 feet from the home and remove any traces of cigarette butts.
A rental agreement and damage deposit are required prior to arrival. A $500 hold will be placed on guest's credit card two days prior to reservation date and released once the property has been assessed for damages. There is NO CHARGE to guest's credit card unless there are property damages. The hold is automatically released after the reservation. We have never withheld a deposit before, and very likely will never have to, because we have the most awesome guests!!! Please review our cancellation policy prior to booking.

We are Jeremy and Kelly Kerth and have lived in Kerrville for 20 years, with our two children, Jackson and Annie. We have always had a shared love for real estate and this is our first venture into real estate investment. We really enjoy envisioning what we like in a vacation rental and then transforming our properties to meet those expectations. We love meeting new people and sharing our small piece of the Texas Hill Country!

We have a small, but well-stocked kitchen, with cookware, spices, mixing bowls, etc. Stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, refrigerator (with icemaker), and electric stove. There is a small dining table, which seats 4. We offer a Keurig coffee maker with starter packs of both decaf and regular coffee; also an electric tea kettle is available. There are two master suites with king beds. We have cable and a smart TV to stream your own content. We have a large backyard, which is not completely fenced in. There is outdoor seating on the front porch, and a six-person hot tub. There is ample parking in the driveway, as well as on-street parking.
