Island Shores 654 sits in the most desired area of Gulf Shores, and in a low-density complex- meaning no long waits on the elevator! Walk to all the popular restaurants such as The Pink Pony and The Hang Out, and to the many Events held at Gulf Place Beach Access like The National Annual Shrimp Festival and The Hangout Music Festival. Island Shores also provides Coin-Operated Laundry facilities on site for convenience, as well as a shared swimming pool and direct beach access.

This Beach Front, Gulf Facing home can accommodate your whole family, up to 6 persons, with a Brand New King Bed in the Primary Bedroom with a private, Full Bathroom, a Queen Size Bed in the Guest Bedroom, a second Full Bath just off the Living Area, and a pull-out Sleeper Sofa for extra sleeping. Need more space? Ask about the home next door at #655, sister unit with he same set up!! This home includes a Fully Stocked Kitchen, updated furnishings, and cozy decor! Do not wait, this home books quickly!!

- Beach Chairs & Umbrellas: Sometimes guests leave behind chairs and toys they have purchased. If they are clean and in good condition, we will leave them for the next guests. Or, these items are fairly inexpensive and can be purchased at most local stores. Also, there are vendors that set up very nice beach chairs and umbrellas for daily or weekly rent (seasonally). Just find an empty one or the attendant.

- All Bed Linens and Bath Towels are provided. A full list of what is provided and suggestions to bring will be emailed to you upon booking.

**Admin Fee and Processing (credit card) fee are non-refundable after booking.

**WINTER MONTHLY RESERVATIONS/ SNOWBIRDS (November, December, January & February) We prefer full-month reservations mainly during January and February. To get your accurate quote, please set your dates to reflect the Check-In date as the First of the month and Check-out date the First of the following month. If you need monthly rates for November and/ or December, please inquire. Monthly restrictions on January and February will be removed by November 30th if homes are not reserved.

No Smoking. Smoking is not allowed in unit or on balconies.

Clean little condo the host was great and always answers promptly the beach view was wonderful also was able to see dolphins which was a plus the laundry room wouldn't give change back so had to use my card but other than that is was good

Everything was great. I did notice a lot of mold in the vents and condensation running down the wall from vent. Definitely could smell the mildew /mold. It was Pretty clean. Some things definitely need to be updated. Great views

Upon notice, we would have sent in maintenance to treat and clean this right away. This is a constant battle we fight as guests will lower the A/C and then keep the balcony door open, making all vents sweat. It has now been remediated.

Everything went well, great time was had by all. There was a tile broken in the guest bedroom but didn’t hurt us. It was there when we checked in, just letting someone know in case you aren’t aware. Would stay there again. Also nice there was a security guard on hand.

Family vaca at Island Shores

Overall the stay was good. The pictures do make the property view nicer than it actually is. Great location to restaurants and activities. Great beach. We would stay here again and recommend others to do so as well.

Great location, decent size and great views!

I would stay there again! Although the lint tray in the dryer hadn't been cleaned in a while and there was some scum in the bathtub of the main suite. Overall, great place!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was clean and the location was amazing.The condo is older so don't expect new. Both the tubs and kitchen sink show seriously age with chips, scratches, and stains but work. The front door is an odd set up and tough to get in when unloading because the kitchen counter runs up about a 2ft. from the front door. You have to go through the master bedroom when you enter. The master is on the front of the condo and the second bedroom is on the beach side. Both of the beds are comfortable. The master bedroom king bed is very firm but is a memory foam so it adjusts somewhat to the body. The kitchen is stocked fairly well but could use a few more regular drinking glasses and cooking utensils like spatulas. The condo is nice and quiet and the rental management company was extremely helpful and kind.

I found a black colored mold inside and on the vents throughout the condo. I reached out immediately and they were quick to respond and said they would send maintenance the next morning to spray anti microbial. After spending one night, I messaged them and told them I did not feel comfortable staying there any longer and they understood and moved me into the condo next door. Lost some of the morning having to move all my things but I was glad they had another place close by that was available.

After further investigation whenever we moved you next-door, we found the vent registers to just be full of dust debris buildup from condensation, plus paint, peeling, and chipping. We have replaced all of the vent registers and the air vents tested negative for microbial growth. We hope you would change your star rating due to the awesome service that you received.

Construction going on ( did not have notice) router never reset for Wi-Fi, and many plugs did not work. Awkward to enter condo with countertop only a foot from the door. Guests who slept in living room on pull out couch had no curtains or blinds on balcony window/ doors. Otherwise we had a wonderful time being right on the ocean.

Please understand that the first line on the description of the home sates there in ongoing construction for this complex You also are reminded of that with your check in instructions. The pictures of the home also show there are no curtains on the large windows in the living area. We d not want to obstruct that view. Yes, entry is set up different, but the design of the condo when it was built 35 years ago tried to make use of all square footage as possible. We are investigating the outlets not working, we could have done this immediately upon notice.

Extended Vacation

Was already at the beach for the week of 4th July and was supposed to head home on Friday the 7th, but I was having such a great time with my three kids which are not kids anymore 18-24, I decided to try to find a place for the weekend and this was it. We enjoyed staying at Island Shores and the host was awesome, everything was just great for us, and was in walking distance of most of the places we wanted to go also. It was great! Will be back again.

Beautiful location

When we arrived to the rental we noticed a few minor things. The fitted sheet on the bed in the master bedroom was torn on the corner, there were a few stains on the sheets & towels, & the toilet in one of the bathrooms wasn’t clean properly. Overall, it was an easy booking, didn’t have to contact the property manager, the security guard on the premises was very helpful upon arriving, the stay was great, beautiful view, & we enjoyed our time.
