Wonderful

This was our 3rd time staying here, the first being all the way back in 2016. This place is in as impeccable condition today as it was back then. As usual we had a great stay at this wonderful Condo.

We stayed here for a month while out house was being remodeled. It was clean, well appointed and exactly like the online description. The hosts could not have been nicer or more accommodating.

Beautiful condo, perfect location with all the comfort you'd expect in a high quality stay. Cold A/C, fully stocked with all the amenities you don't want to have to buy on vacation (shampoo, soap, etc.). Excellent communication with the owners and problem free in every aspect. The condo was great and so well equipped, particularly the kitchen. The location and parking are wonderful. The listing says there is a hot tub but this is no longer available to renters. That was fine with us because the weather was wonderful. Our son and family in Bellingham got Covid so never could stay overnight with us but we enjoyed the condo, long walks, the village of Birch Bay and the Fourth of July wild celebration. Birch Bay is an old-time beach village with ice cream, bikes, scooters, golf carts and walkers all together enjoying life and the beach. We hope to return at various times of the year.

Lovely, Restful Getaway

The condo in Birch Bay was delightful! It had all the necessary amenities, and then more. The view was amazing and restful; we spent most evenings on the balcony/porch watching the sun go down. Unfortunately the hot tub and coffee shop were not available during our stay, but, considering the ease of the location, we were able to walk to just about anything that we wanted to see in the town. We would definitely recommend this condo to anyone who wants to escape for a while.

Wonderful time

Paul & Betty’s place is perfection. This is our fourth time staying in there beautiful home and we always enjoy our time here. They truly think of everything. Pots, pans, utensils, spices, and all the bed/bath necessities needed for a very comfortable stay. The views and sunsets are always incredible! Thank you both for your kind hospitality. We hope to be back soon!!

Beautiful nice Condo

Very nice Condo unit, very clean, has just about everything already there, great view of Birch Bay out front deck, has 2 nice chairs at door entrance where you can sit and have a cup of coffee and enjoy the warm sun before it goes overhead, comfortable beds, nice furniture, convenient parking underneath canopy for this unit. All in all, was a wonderful place to stay for us and close to home for a great get away and to sit in the sun and read a book. Thank you

Our Happy Place

There is just something about Birch Bay that always makes me smile! Our 3rd time in Paul & Betty’s beautiful home overlooking the beach and we had another wonderful stay. They make everything so easy. Their unit has everything one might need for any meal preparation. The location is central to any and all activities and the unit itself remains pristine. Thank you both, again! We hope to stay again soon!

Delightful vacation home

This is the second time we have stayed at Paul and Betty’s Birch Bay condominium. Stayed for a week this time. Paul helped us figure out the air conditioning the first night and we began a very fun, beautiful, pleasant week. Son, daughter-in-law and grandson joined us Thursday. The unit is quite large, has a great view, is well furnished and well located on the bay. We will be back. Quite wheelchair accessible.

Birch Bay Vacay

My husband and I spent a week with our son and his wife. The condo is very fresh and well equipped. The sunsets from the balcony are incredible. The hot tub had just been repaired so we were able to enjoy it as well. The 7 Elements Day Spa on the property was having their grand opening. I had a wonderful massage. Birch Bay is a very convenient location. We went to Vancouver for the day and to Bellingham several times. I highly recommend San Juan Excursions for the whale watching tour. Thank you Paul and Betty!

Great condo, completely wheelchair accessible

This condo and its owners are great. I have stayed here twice and look forward to another return visit someday. I love sitting on the balcony and watching the sun set. For those with accessibility needs, specifically mobility, this condo is a great option. This year I brought my elderly parents, one of whom can only walk very short distances (10 feet or less). We use a manual push/no-assist wheelchair to help get him around longer distances. From a wheelchair perspective, you can get from the parking lot, to the elevators, in/out of the elevators, and into the condo with zero steps. The parking lot is very flat and nicely paved. The ramps from the parking lot to the elevators have a moderate incline and are not steep. There are two elevators at the complex, which was a lifesaver because one elevator was being repaired during our stay. There are no steps inside the condo or attached balcony. The master bath has a walk-in shower, which my father was able to use easily.

Amazing waterfront Birch Bay condo

Our first stay at Birch Bay and we were so lucky to have been able to enjoy it in this immaculate, well equipped, and tastefully furnished condo. It had everything needed for a perfect 2 weeks of peace and relaxation. The cool ocean breezes, exceptional bay views and colorful sunsets were all amazing. Thank you Paul and Betty for sharing your home. We will definitely be back again.

My wife and I chose Birch Bay after staying at friends' condos and falling in love with the area. It is the 'aahh' factor when rounding the corner and the bay comes into view. Less than 2 hours from Seattle, we enter a relaxed and laid back world, away from the crowds of the metropolitan area, and enjoy a delightful weekend retreat. We love the smell of salty, sea air and the sounds of waves in the bay. Birds and wildlife are right at our feet, as well as hiking and climbing in the mountains an hour away.

The new, contemporary construction, and amazing unobstructed views from this building really appealed to the two of us. We have a quiet condo with excellent sound-proofing and with understated luxury. We also love the international flavor with Canada so close by and the friendly, hospitable community of Birch Bay. Within easy driving distance are a half dozen wineries as well as farms with fresh produce, cheese and other dairy products, and great shopping centers to engage in 'retail therapy.'

Derfor er dette overnatningssted unikt

We are an end condo unit, so the views from the windows on the west and north are amazing. The beach walks are just down the stairs and across the street. Excellent dining out opportunities within walking distance. Semiahmoo is just a 12 minute drive at the end a wonderful spit. It is great for long walks, fine NW dining, with great views of water, sunsets, and lights of the city of White Rock at night.
